Faces of Resilience

In this episode of Faces of Resilience, Laura Parker shares an inspiring story about how her husband, Ben Parker, faced Esophageal cancer. Ben was an outstanding man, who faced cancer with a positive attitude. Even though Ben had come across this harsh struggle, his resilience gave him strength and bravery. His actions have taught us that even after death, we could make an impact through our legacy.

In this interdisciplinary project, students dove into an in depth study of how cancer affects the human body and spirit. Students interviewed family members to capture stories of resilience, and created NPR style podcasts of significant moments in hopes to provide courage and hope to those facing the same struggles.
