Happy New Year! With a new year comes new adventures and I want to help make sure that we are all prepared for that next adventure. This episode is covering Leave No Trace; Though, I won't be deep diving into each principle, I'll cover the ones most applicable for those that need to know the "bear" minimum of how to treat the outdoors with respect. Respect is a common theme throughout and it relates to respecting the environment, those around you, and the wildlife around you. You can find more information on the 7 principles on http://www.lnt.org Some additional links of what I mentioned can be found here: REI's Expert Advice The #TrashtagChallenge WTA and hiking with dogs Thank you for listening! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/kacee-saturay/support

Michael and I embarked on what was supposed to be a winter national park road trip last year. That clearly didn't happen and this trip turned out to be one of the worst trips we had ever been on. Although, looking back at it, it's now brought back so many funny memories. Listen in and hear about where we went wrong and what I learned from this rollercoaster.
