Jay, Doot, Hector, James and Li'l James reflect on Adam West's Batman, and then after the Jameses' bed-time, the Jay/Doot/Hector triumvirate stick around to talk about Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman. We learn that Jay hates Chris Evans, Hector hates X-Men: First Class, and Jason hates music. HOWEVER!!! We all loved Wonder Woman. Such is the power of Princess Diana.
Jason and Jay discuss Wild Cards, George R.R. Martin's prose "superhero" series, written by a slew of authors including Martin himself. ay and James wax philosophical about their love of muscular, half-naked men holding giant phallic swords. Jason listens uncomfortably. Conan and He-Man are discussed, and classic ripped 1980s action stars like Arnold and Sly get their due.
The Giant Penny Crew discusses Chris Claremont's epic run as author of"The Uncanny X-Men," which lasted (amazingly) from 1975 to 1991. How we first discovered the run, what we love about it, and who of us is so obsessed with Claremont that he wrote a whole book about him (spoilers: Doot)
