A few lessons that I relearned on a recent elk hunt

Freedom is not free. The freedom that we enjoy was paid by someone before us. Whether we look at it spiritually or as a free country, someone paid for our freedom with their blood. There's a big difference between happiness and joy

Find someone you can be vulnerable with that you can trust that you can be open and honest with that will pour into you and that you can pour into it together you'll be stronger and better.

Lot of suicide in the news today. My thoughts on battling those demons in a few ways to keep them at bay

My boy actually use the potty today and in doing so we made a big deal out of it and celebrated and although it might be a small victory I think it’s vital that we celebrate those.

Doing something Tough requires discipline. And often times when we fall short we regret and feel sorry for ourselves. The key is to reset and lies and do better tomorrow. To be better tomorrow

The Bible tells us to remove the log from our own eye before we remove the speck from someone else’s. And this weekend I had a great reminder of that

When my boy told me he was scared I gave him a piece of advice and then I realized I’m the one that needed to take the advice.

Sometimes the longest days remind us how short the time we have really is. It is in those moments of struggle that we need to slow down and enjoy every little moment. Those those long days will soon become short years.
