In this first edition of our podcast, Richard speaks to Dave Okumu of The Invisible. Dave's enormous talent is matched only by his wisdom and modesty. So whilst you get a sense of some of his notable work from this conversation, it's worth re-stating just how hugely respected this quiet giant is. The band's debut album was Mercury nominated, as was Dave's debut album as a producer (Jessie Ware's stunning "Devotion"). His and the band's collaborations include work with the likes of Grace Jones, Adele, Conan Moccasin, Paloma Faith, Paul Epworth, Anna Calvi and Floating Points and in terms of raw ability, Dave is widely regarded as one of the finest guitarists working in music today.
