Ria Verlinden carried out the value of Gestalttherapy and Systemic Work in Belgium, the Czech Republic and South-Africa. She doesn't go for happiness, she goes for meaning. Her intuition, she calls it her radar, is her guide in embracing the courage to live the line of her life. She had to learn to own her place by trusting her deeper Self. In our dialogue she shares her wisdom which embraces the mental, the physical and the spiritual component. The spiritual component is deepened by her training as a traditional Sangoma healer in South -Africa. Spirituality has to do with the art of simplicity and listening to what is calling you. Wat gebeurt er als een storyteller en een therapeut/coach samen op zoek gaan naar verhalen over leven met passie, overgave maar ook met strijd, tegenslag en dan weer opstaan? In deze eerste aflevering bevragen we elkaar over ons levenspad en wat ons drijft. Voor we met onze gasten in gesprek gaan, hebben we de moed om zelf met de billen bloot te gaan. Zo landen we bij thema's en vragen als wat drijft ons in het leven? Het verschil tussen intuïtie en gevoel? De rol van het lichaam in de verbinding met de wereld? Bestaat er zoiets als een ziel? De strijd tussen onze diepe verlangens en de verwachtingen vanuit de omgeving? We zoeken het menselijke én het bovenmenselijke in onze ervaringen van vallen en opstaan, ploeteren & de bewegingen tussen eb en vloed die het leven rijk is.

Justina (as a soundmaker & storyteller) and Veerle (as a therapist & coach) both try to master the art of deep listening. Their aim is to listen from the inside, to support wholeness as an ongoing process of life. This podcast will tell the story of the 'human takeover'. We will talk to people who inspire the world by their wisdom and creativity and who have the courage to connect to the wisdom of the heart.
