It was August 2nd, 2006. Summer was still beating down on Texas. Just under 100*, Brandi braves the sun and jumps in her car, heading to her moms house. Brandi lived in Brownsboro, about 20 miles east of her mothers residence in Tyler. She'd recently re-enrolled in college and had moved home from San Antonio. She'd gone through a divorce and was excited to start a new life. On this day, Brandi was planning on going out to a club for a night of fun before classes started. She arrived at her moms house and invited her younger sister to come out to the club with her. Her sister declined, stating she wasn't feeling well. In fact, her sister was in bed asleep by the time Brandi left. A short time later, Brandi came out, asked her mom if she looked alright in her outfit- a tan tube top, rust colored gaucho pants and black high heel sandals. Her mom said she looked cute. Brandi would set up her make-up bag on the table in the living room and do her makeup Brandi thanked her and proceeded to ask to borrow her mothers car. Her 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix was working fine, however, was low on gas. Her mom declined, stating her vehicle was also low on gas. No money was exchanged to top off the tank. Brandi was low on cash- she had just moved, enrolled in school, and her job hasn't started yet. Determined to have a good night, she kisses her mother good night and leaves. She leaves at around 8 PM. Brandi did not disclose which club she was going to. Her mom assumed a club in Tyler. Instead, Brandi was set on visiting Graham Central Station in Longview. Brandi has been missing for over 15 years. If you have any information as to the whereabouts of Brandi Ellen Wells, please call the Longview Police Department at 903–237–1110.
