You are tasked with leading others up and over a mountain that lies in front of them. It’s new to them. It’s going to take time and effort. They will get frustrated. When they get frustrated they are in danger of quitting. If they quit…it’s YOUR fault.When was the last time you did something new and totally foreign? Something it was going to take years to become proficient in? If you are successful in business it’s likely that you are now NOT doing new things. And if you aren’t doing new things, you can’t lead others to do new and difficult things.As a leader of others, it’s your JOB to do new and difficult and scary things. This requires NO talent. But it IS a skill you must never quit learning.

Ultimately he makes the case that you MUST change how you operate if you are to thrive in a dynamic world that exists now and is to come…and that requires you to engage in a team.
