Episode 085 – Inside Muster 022 & the FTX: Leadership Lessons from the Field In this episode of The JP Dinnell Podcast, JP and Lucas unpack the most powerful takeaways from Echelon Front's Muster 022 and the Field Training Exercise (FTX) that followed. If you've ever wondered what really happens when executives, entrepreneurs, and everyday leaders step into high-pressure leadership simulations, this episode takes you behind the curtain. This isn't just about theory. It's about watching leaders break, adapt, and rise—sometimes within minutes. You'll hear about the emotional debriefs, the life-changing breakthroughs, and the raw accountability that defines Extreme Ownership at the highest level.
In this episode of the JP Dinnell Podcast, JP sits down with Isaac Tauaefa, the president of @jesusandjiujitsu for a powerful, honest conversation about manhood, leadership, brokenness, and the transformational power of Jesus Christ. Isaac shares his raw and unfiltered story—from growing up as the son of a pastor and traveling with The Power Team, to pursuing a college football dream that came crashing down. After a devastating knee injury ended his shot at the NFL, Isaac spiraled into a life of partying, violence, and lost identity—until God wrecked his plans and revealed His. Now a leader, mentor, and disciple-maker, Isaac uses jiu-jitsu, faith, and real conversations to challenge men to step into their God-given calling and lead from the front.
In this episode of The JP Dinnell Podcast, JP and Lucas sit down for the most raw, unfiltered conversation they've ever had. Over the course of one week, they faced a series of unimaginable events—a tragic death, a violent murder, and a spiritual confrontation with evil. In the midst of it all, they were forced to lead others, support their families, and show up when everything inside them wanted to break. This episode isn't about tactics or strategy. It's about faith in the fire, the burden of leadership, and what it means to carry others through darkness when you yourself are hurting.
I FOUGHT IN RAMADI – Navy SEAL JP Dinnell Reviews "Warfare" (2025) JP Dinnell breaks down the new movie @A24 movie Warfare by Ray Mendoza about the task unit that relieved TU Bruiser in Ramadi. In this powerful episode of The JP Dinnell Podcast, JP delivers a raw, emotional, and brutally honest review of the 2025 war film “Warfare”, co-directed by Alex Garland and former Navy SEAL Ray Mendoza. But this isn't just another reaction video — JP Dinnell actually fought in the same battle space as depicted in the film. While most people see Warfare as a gripping, cinematic portrayal of urban combat in Ramadi, Iraq, JP lived it. He was part of Task Unit Bruiser, the most decorated special operations unit of the Iraq War, serving alongside warriors like Jocko Willink, Leif Babin, Marc Lee, and Michael Monsoor. His team was operating in Ramadi in 2006, directly before Alpha One, the SEAL unit depicted in Warfare, took over that area of operations. This review is more than just technical commentary — it's a glimpse into the real-world chaos, decision-making, emotion, and leadership that happened in those exact streets.
