Hello hello everyone! Amongst everything going on in the world right now, I’ve really tried to look inward and work on mindfulness and meditation. This podcast is different than most, my first interview style podcast featuring with one of my closest friends from college, Suneet. Here we will talk about mindfulness and meditation primarily within the context of Sikhism, but most definitely applicable to day to day life. As always, drop a comment with feedback!
While reflection is important- so is being a dork and appreciating the simpler things in life. In this podcast are a list of fun facts basically through random knowledge I’ve acquired. Hope you enjoy!
The biggest identity aspect I have struggled with, and kept pretty private for the most part is my relationship with being Indian, in the Indian American. In this podcast, I take you through my journey and realizations that come with how I have come to define my identity. As always, drop a comment with your thoughts!!
I have been reflecting a lot on the life of my grandmother, bhua nani over the last few weeks and wanted to use this podcast as a medium to process my thoughts. Struggled a bit with trying to keep it together, but I wanted to be completely raw to commemorate her. Definitely in my feels in this episode :)
My previous podcast talked about the effects that achieving or failing to achieve goals can have on your life and internal happiness. However, I wanted to use this as a follow up to talk about goals but now more so goal setting, what I’ve learned, what I'm sill working on, how to be efficient and so forth. I do this in Karishma fashion- sprinkling in some anecdotes to share my experiences, reflections, and future plans as a result!
I wanted to take some time to talk about goals. Goals heavily influence my life and how I orient my future, and I plan on doing a series discussing matters thereof. But before doing so, I really wanted to hone in on this idea of achievement and goals in their relation to happiness- something that took me quite some time to fully grasp (and I'm still working on it.) Drop a comment with your thoughts and feedback!
Raw morning thoughts; combining this idea of pre-determined odds with hard work. Odds/fate versus control is something I frequently talk (rant) about. Have a listen and drop a comment with your thoughts!
