Scott Van Pelt and Stanford Steve recap all of the action from Week 13 of the college football season. Starting with what happened on the Farm, the Big Man was THRILLED to see Frank Reich, Andrew Luck and the boys get a win. But the best game of the day was where GameDay was, as Oregon got past USC. Georgia Tech also got upset in the night slate, further complicating things for the ACC. Plus, thoughts on Notre Dame's domination over Syracuse and who should be ahead: ND or Miami? Ohio State also dominated again, as the Buckeyes have simply steamrolled through B1G competition. Also, thoughts on Wisconsin, Washington State, Penn State, the G5, Vanderbilt, Utah, Oklahoma and more. The team will go through those people who left AEW to win gold in WWE.The Three CountMike put over Sam Roberts.Danielle put over WWE FNYPDHal put over The Dupree family and Amazing Royal Rumble ideas.Keep up with this show all week long on instagram, tiktok and bluesky. This show was produced by Julian Burrell for Maximumfun.org
This episode digs into why so many riders never take the big motorcycle trip they dream about. What's a real reason not to go — and what's just fear or over-planning? Are we putting too much focus on the bike instead of the experience? And if you love the idea more than the lifestyle, is that okay? The group wraps with what “leaving” really means: chasing freedom, time, and the adventure you actually want.
The DeLorean's still running blue, and this week it lands in October 2002, the point where SmackDown stopped experimenting and started executing. In Episode 3 of Shot of Nostalgia: The SmackDown Six Era, we look back at No Mercy 2002, the night Paul Heyman's vision for wrestling took full shape. SmackDown had found its rhythm. While Raw chased spectacle, SmackDown focused on structure, timing, and storytelling. It became a show built around wrestling that felt alive and purposeful. The SmackDown Tag Team Championship Tournament showed exactly what that approach could do. Each team brought something different to the table. Angle and Benoit were reluctant partners whose precision outweighed their egos. Edge and Mysterio wrestled with emotion and energy that connected instantly with the crowd. Eddie and Chavo Guerrero mixed pride and deceit into something that felt effortless. We'll walk through the full month of October, from Edge and Rey's semifinal win over Simmons and D-Von, to Angle and Benoit's tense victory against Los Guerreros, and finally to the No Mercy 2002 finals. Angle and Benoit versus Edge and Mysterio remains one of the most complete tag matches WWE has ever produced. Every tag mattered, every transition meant something, and when Edge finally tapped to the Ankle Lock, the audience clapped because they understood what they had seen. We'll also revisit the aftermath, when the handshake between Benoit and Angle turned to chaos, the trophy broke, and Los Guerreros stepped in to take advantage. In that moment, the tag division reset, and SmackDown's golden run officially began. We're also doing a full watch-along of the No Mercy 2002 Tag Team Finals. Sync up the match, press play, and experience it with us as it happened. By the end of October 2002, SmackDown wasn't chasing Raw anymore. It was proving what weekly wrestling could be. More than two decades later, you can still see its fingerprints in AEW's tournament storytelling, WWE's renewed focus on the ring, and how modern wrestling builds from match to match. No Mercy wasn't about nostalgia. It was proof that the system worked. Episode 3 drops Friday at 7 PM ET. Join us for the full breakdown and watch-along. Opie, Ron the Waiter and Tony P rip into Elon Musk's jaw-dropping claim that AI and humanoid robots will make all traditional work—and eventually money itself—obsolete in 20–30 years. From Verizon already firing 13,000 people for “AI efficiency” to wild visions of unlimited free energy, free food, and a post-scarcity utopia… they debate if this is humanity's golden age or the fastest way to obliterate the middle class. Plus: extraterrestrials controlling Earth, 11 elite families, why casinos are coming to NYC neighborhoods, the secret Trump-Mamdani meeting with no cameras, Epstein files blackmail theories, and Opie's epic rant about women's 47 mystery shower products. Raw, chaotic, hilarious FU Friday—no topic off limits. Hit play before the robots take your paycheck.
In 2022, long-distance riders Wendy Crockett and Ian McPhee set out on a world-record attempt to visit all 58 state capitols in Australia and the U.S.—in alphabetical order. But their carefully planned motorcycle trip quickly turned into chaos: mechanical failures, illness, animal strikes, wild weather, even hospitalizations. Despite everything, they kept pushing, driven by grit, humour, and sheer determination to finish what they started. But what they didn't expect was what happened when they finally hit a point where they couldn't push any farther—when they were genuinely stuck. In sharing their situation, they discovered something surprising, something they hadn't planned for at all… and it changed the course of their journey in ways they never saw coming.

Clay spent the entire first hour of Episode #1105 tearing into the newly unsealed Jeffrey Epstein court files with the kind of no-filter commentary that only he delivers. Bottom line: there never was and never will be a magical “client list.” The real blackmail material is locked away in intelligence-agency vaults, buried in boxes inside boxes, and no one from Congress to the President himself will ever get the keys, because that leverage is still far too valuable. What was just released is a batch of documents Epstein's estate quietly handed to Democrats years ago, files they sat on for over a decade because they make their own side look horrific while barely touching Republicans. Clay's prediction is blunt: this isn't about nailing Trump (Trump was the original whistleblower two-and-a-half decades ago, which is exactly why Epstein and his handlers despised him and fed dirt to Democrat operatives). Instead, it's the younger Democrat guard—AOC, Ro Khanna, and that whole crowd—finally shoving the compromised old guard (Bill Clinton, the former Harvard president, and a laundry list of others) off the ship so they can take the wheel. It's a Democrat civil war playing out in slow motion. He hammered the hypocrisy hard: the same people now screaming “justice for the victims” had total control of the government during both Obama terms and the Biden “third Obama term” and did absolutely nothing while Epstein operated in plain sight. Every single victim is in their mid-40s now, cashed massive settlement checks, signed iron-clad NDAs, and could name names tomorrow if they actually wanted “justice” more than money; they don't. Clay wrapped it up with a stone-cold reality check: Democrats had zero sacred cows when it came to smearing Trump, even if that meant openly colluding with a convicted pedophile in 2019. The release is pure political theater designed to burn aging Democrat power brokers while the new guard consolidates control. Trump walks away looking cleaner than ever, and the real files stay buried forever. Raw, unapologetic, and vintage Clay.

On this week's WrestleRant Radio, Graham "GSM" Matthews and RJ Marceau answer a ton of questions from live viewers before sharing their top takeaways from one of the best episodes of Raw all year on Monday night in Madison Square Garden (which GSM was in attendance for!) including John Cena wrestling his final Raw match ever, the men's and women's WarGames teams coming together, Maxxine Dupri upsetting Becky Lynch for the Women's Intercontinental Championship, the returns of AJ Lee, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, and the first round of The Last Time Is Now Tournament coming to a close. They also give their updated picks for the rest of the tourney and who's still the overall favorite to win the whole thing. Plus, GSM and RJ discuss Ariel Helwani's latest interview with Tony Khan from this past week, how it was a vast improvement over their previous interview but what Khan can still work on, interesting updates on Andrade, Chris Jericho, Britt Baker and others, Edge/Adam Copeland never being an option for the Cena tournament, Darby Allin's wild risks, and more. Stick around for their FULL PREDICTIONS for Saturday's AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event!

Wrestling has been uneventful lately, but recent developments on SmackDown have sparked interest.Drew McIntyre is being positioned as a key member of "the Vision" stable, possibly replacing Seth Rollins.Drew has lost many matches in the past, but aligning him with Paul Heyman and others could revitalize his character.Bronson Reed is being elevated and is no longer treated as a secondary character.WWE often struggles to build multiple stars at once, focusing too much on one or two at a time. The Bloodline and Judgment Day stables succeeded because every member had a role and story. There's skepticism about WWE's long-term planning, especially with sudden changes due to injuries.Merchandise and branding are a big focus, sometimes at the expense of storytelling.Judgment Day members are likely to become babyfaces soon due to their popularity.Managers are lacking in WWE; bringing back more managers could help talent who struggle with promos. The women's division is giving midcard titles to less experienced but marketable wrestlers. Some matches and segments (e.g., Maxine Dupree vs. Becky Lynch, Jade Cargill's push) are criticized for prioritizing looks over in-ring skill.Ticket and merchandise prices are rising, but many feel the product quality isn't keeping up.Nostalgia acts (like John Cena) are used to boost interest, but there's concern about what comes after. The show's structure sometimes puts the biggest moments at the start, making the rest feel less important. There's debate about past booking decisions, like John Cena's role in the Nexus storyline.New talent like Jevon Evans shows promise, but there's concern about how WWE will develop them. The episode ends with thanks to listeners and promotion for related shows.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/wrestling-soup--1425249/support.
Ben McChesney spent 25 years behind bars, serving time in more than a dozen state and federal prisons across the country — from low-level facilities to some of the toughest penitentiaries in America. His story is one of chaos, survival, and defiance. After being accused of stealing several pallets of firearms in what became one of the largest gun heists in his state, Ben went on the run to Mexico for two years before being captured. Acting as his own attorney, he fought multiple cases, beat a federal kidnapping charge, and survived years of violence and transfers across 14 federal prisons. Inside, he ran underground poker tables, fought predators, and lived by his own code. Raw, unfiltered, and brutally honest, Ben's story exposes the reality of long-term prison life, corruption, and what it truly takes to survive 25 years in the system. #LockedInWithIanBick #PrisonStories #TrueCrime #LifeInPrison #RedemptionStory #RealStories #PrisonLife #SurvivingPrison Thank you to BLUECHEW for sponsoring this episode: Visit https://bluechew.com/ and use promo code LOCKEDIN at checkout to get your first month of BlueChew & pay five bucks for shipping. How do you know if you're ready to have kids? Is buying a grain mill really worth it? Do you need a mixer to experiment with sourdough? These are just a few of the questions we're tackling in this week's 40th birthday Q&A. I'm sharing a quick update on our farmhouse build, what newborn life looks like right now, and how my older kids have naturally discovered their interests. We also chat about practical rhythms like afternoon time, laundry stains, raw milk basics, freshly-milled flour, and making sourdough without a mixer. Join me for this conversation about the everyday homemaking routines shaping our home in this season! In this episode, we cover: - A quick birthday trip to NYC for my 40th, traveling light with a newborn, and why short city visits work best for us - Where we're at with the house build, waiting on casement windows, and what happens once they arrive - Whether my older daughters were at Miriam's birth and how natural birth has become part of our home culture - How my older kids found their hobbies and when I step in to help brainstorm interests - My thoughts on letting kids choose reading or projects in their free time - How I make all my sourdough recipes with stretch-and-folds, even low-hydration dough like bagels - Raw milk basics: how long it lasts, why making butter can be challenging, and easy yogurt ideas - My take on grain mills, budget-friendly options, and why freshly-milled flour is worth learning - Keeping laundry simple with mostly dark clothing and what I do about stains - Encouragement for first-time moms overwhelmed by baby advice and why on-the-job learning is best - How I'd think through cutting dairy or gluten based on symptom severity - Why I stick to blending whole grain and all-purpose flour instead of using vital wheat gluten View full show notes on the blog + watch this episode on YouTube.
