Hey, everyone. I’m Corey and I’m the host of this podcast Meanwhile on the Farm… The title Meanwhile on the Farm... is a reference to the phrase “back on the ranch” which was predominantly used in Westerns and silent films to segue and get the show back on topic. Meanwhile On the Farm… was born from a need to do just that. Meanwhile on the Farm… is a podcast focused on current, pressing issues that involve gender and sexuality, education, economic balance, political charges, and purposefully oppressive organizations and figures including law enforcement and politicians as they relate to race. Each Meanwhile on the Farm… episode is designed not only to identify and explain a pressing issue but to also offer plausible and practical plans of action in order to contribute towards healing, shaping, and re-shaping, and activate change. Cause what’s the piont of just sittin’ around bein’ mad? Word? But in addition, Meanwhile On the Farm… seeks to praise growth and development by blacks and people of color. Meanwhile on the Farm… is for people of all walks of life and proudly supports people from all walks of life and loves the arts and culture. Meanwhile on the farm… Getting back to the subject. So pull up an ear and get settled every Friday and let’s dig in. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/meanwhileonthefarm/support
