    This episode features a benefit flute concert.  Kana, the musician just graduated from The Ohio State University.  She was born in Japan and came here to study music and is preparing to go study music in Paris.  She has played for us in worship a couple of times before and wanted to do this for us before she left so we can begin to raise money for the carpet fund in the new building.

    The intention of the Leadership Academy is to keep us in a mindset of learning.  More importantly, it is learning together.  As we begin to move into the future, this format can keep us focused on different ways of being the church.  We have several a year with each focusing on a different topic within the scope of what the church is involved with. This episode features a look at statistical change from David Olson’s “The American Church in Crisis.” and a basic primer on postmodern vs. modern culture.
