Today's guest is someone I first came across on the Irish People in VC list—and I'm really glad I reached out. Because it turns out Maureen Haverty has one of the most fascinating jobs you can imagine: helping build the future of space. As a Principal at Seraphim Space, the world's leading space-focused VC firm, she invests globally in technologies pushing the boundaries of what's possible —and shaping the future of space startup investment.Maureen began her career in nuclear engineering, earning a PhD from the University of Manchester before making the leap into startups. At Apollo Fusion, she survived a hard pivot into space, ultimately becoming COO and steering the company through a $150M acquisition by Astra. That experience—what she calls a startup “baptism by fire”—now informs how she backs early-stage founders as both investor and board director. Her insights have been featured in The Times, and she'll soon take the stage at Web Summit to speak on “Space as a Strategic Frontier.”Key Takeaways“Build just enough”: Space startups win by testing early and often, not waiting for perfection.Kill fewer dreams: Rigor matters—but so does nurturing half-formed ideas.Get to space ASAP: In-orbit validation creates trust and unlocks massive growth. From Gantt charts to fast loops: High-performing teams test weekly, not quarterly.Customer conversations still matter: Even in space, talking to users beats assumptions.Additional InsightsWhy VC funding in space is shifting toward earlier MVPs.The hidden costs of acquisition for startup culture and speed. How Starship may reshape what's possible—size, cost, and assembly in orbit. The role of government contracts in fostering a competitive space ecosystem.Episode Highlights00:00 – Episode RecapMaureen Haverty shares how balancing rigor with creativity helped her evolve from nuclear engineer to space startup COO to VC. The key? Learning when to test, when to build, and when to let wild ideas breathe.01:35 – Guest Introduction: Maureen HavertyBarry introduces Maureen Haverty, Principal at Seraphim Space and advocate for grounded rigor in an industry literally aiming for the stars.03:35 – Learning When Not to Kill IdeasMaureen reflects on being labeled a “dream killer” and how she transformed that mindset to foster innovation with constructive rigor.07:34 – Applying Rigor Without Stifling InnovationHow Apollo used just-enough testing, internal prototyping, and diverse team strengths to build better, faster.13:54 – Rethinking MVPs in Space StartupsWhy even space companies now push to generate early revenue and test hardware pre-launch.18:19 – Customers Want Something They Can SeeBuilding a physical, testable product—even a crude one—outperforms pitch decks every time.20:32 – The $70M Lesson of In-Space TestingHow one flight test flipped customer hesitation into a flood of contracts.26:12 – Surviving the Shift from Prototype to ProductionThe real scaling challenge: maintaining culture and customer trust while redesigning for scale.30:15 – The Hidden Power of Primes and PolicyWhy space remains deeply shaped by government buyers—and how that's changing with new VC-backed players.35:33 – Starship and the Future of SpaceMaureen shares what could shift when larger...

In this episode of Right On Radio the Jeff returns with a wide-ranging, provocative show tying together international news, political intrigue and religious themes. Expect in-depth discussion of recent authoritarian moves in Commonwealth nations (including a UK magistrates clip), rising security concerns at European Christmas markets, and high-profile Australian incidents — all framed as part of larger population and migration policies. Clips and commentary examine how governments, media and institutions shape narratives and public fear. The program focuses heavily on the Erica Kirk/TPUSA story: biographical background, alleged ties to defense contractors and Raytheon, questions about a Romania-based charity, on-the-ground witness claims around Fort Huachuca, and accusations that public figures and organizations may be operating as controlled or compromised assets. You'll hear referenced audio and video clips from commentators and witnesses (including Stu Peters, Mitch, JakeGTV parody segments, and other viral clips) and analysis of how kompromat, recruitment and influence operations reportedly work in media and politics. Political and geopolitical topics include a clip from Donald Trump on currency devaluations and a discussion about moves toward standardized global monetary systems, claims about BRICS and token-based test systems, and how a one‑world currency could fit into broader political agendas. The episode also explores narratives driven around Jewish and Muslim communities, discussion of Islamist attacks and security responses, and contrasting theological takes — including clips discussing Muslim views of Jesus and fringe claims tying religious symbolism to end‑times ideas. Guests, sources and clips referenced: Erica Kirk and Charlie Kirk/TPUSA coverage, Candace Owens, Stu Peters, JakeGTV parody material, clips with Sank Uyghur/Anna Asperian, an earlier Trump clip, Matt Gaetz/Tucker Carlson references, Isaac Cappy mentions, plus on-the-ground eyewitness testimony and archival reporting. The host ties these pieces to broader themes — media manipulation, elite networks, defense contracting (E3 Tech, Fort Huachuca), EMP and drone angles, and suspected information operations. Key takeaways: a cautionary look at how narratives are manufactured and amplified, questions about powerful networks operating with impunity, concerns over civil liberties and public safety, the technique of controlling influencers via blackmail and incentives, and an appeal to maintain Christian faith and community amid cultural upheaval. The episode closes on a lighter, seasonal note with plans for a Christmas Eve livestream of music and listener testimonies, plus a short segment on the corporate origins of modern Christmas traditions. Today’s Topics: 1) Gospel – Luke 1:5-25 – In the days of Herod, King of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the priestly division of Abijah; his wife was from the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. Both were righteous in the eyes of God, observing all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blamelessly. But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren and both were advanced in years. Once when he was serving as priest in his division's turn before God, according to the practice of the priestly service, he was chosen by lot to enter the sanctuary of the Lord to burn incense. Then, when the whole assembly of the people was praying outside at the hour of the incense offering, the angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right of the altar of incense. Zechariah was troubled by what he saw, and fear came upon him. But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall name him John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He will drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother's womb, and he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. He will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah to turn the hearts of fathers toward children and the disobedient to the understanding of the righteous, to prepare a people fit for the Lord.” Then Zechariah said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in years.” And the angel said to him in reply, “I am Gabriel, who stand before God. I was sent to speak to you and to announce to you this good news. But now you will be speechless and unable to talk until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled at their proper time.” Meanwhile the people were waiting for Zechariah and were amazed that he stayed so long in the sanctuary. But when he came out, he was unable to speak to them, and they realized that he had seen a vision in the sanctuary. He was gesturing to them but remained mute. Then, when his days of ministry were completed, he went home. After this time his wife Elizabeth conceived, and she went into seclusion for five months, saying, “So has the Lord done for me at a time when he has seen fit to take away my disgrace before others.” Bishop Sheen quote of the day

A Parenting Resource for Children’s Behavior and Mental Health
If you've spent months—or years—in therapy and your child is still melting down, avoiding schoolwork, or unable to calm their body, you are not alone. And it's not because the therapy is “bad” or you're doing anything wrong. The real issue is that their brain can't use the strategies yet. That's where neurofeedback comes in. Today's episode dives deep into the science of why so many kids stay stuck and why regulation must come first before any traditional therapy can work. Why isn't therapy working for my child's chronic meltdowns? It's not your parenting, and it's not that therapy “failed.”Often, traditional talk therapy assumes the prefrontal cortex—our thinking brain—is online. When your child is stuck in fight, flight, or freeze, that part of the brain shuts down, affecting how your brain functions, cognitive function, and overall brain health.Key takeaways:Dysregulation is biological, not behavioral. Kids know what to do but can't act when their nervous system is stressed, affecting mental health disorders, anxiety symptoms, and overall brain function.Frontal lobe offline = skills don't stick. Strategies learned in therapy may not transfer at home because brain waves aren't balanced.Red flags: prolonged emotional resets, sleep or eating issues, constant overwhelm, and hypervigilance—common in mental health conditions and sometimes linked to chronic pain.Real-Life ExampleEthan struggled for two years in therapy. He could talk about his feelings but couldn't apply any strategies at home, showing that knowledge alone doesn't fix brain dysregulation or improve cognitive function.Once neurofeedback training targeted his brain's communication centers through QEEG brain mapping, he began to pause, self-regulate, and thrive. This shows how brain science and precise interventions can create better mental health, strengthen overall brain function, and help children manage mental health disorders more effectively. How does neurofeedback therapy actually help the brain self-regulate?Neurofeedback uses real-time feedback to train the brain to recognize and correct its own brainwave patterns. Using QEEG brain mapping, practitioners identify areas of brain dysregulation and guide the nervous system back to balance.Tips for parents:Sessions are short: 20–30 minutes, 2–3 times per week.Neurofeedback strengthens emotional regulation, focus, and impulse control over time.It complements, rather than replaces, therapies like talk therapy, occupational therapy, or cognitive behavioral therapy.A child resistant to therapy often refuses to engage. With neurofeedback, even small, gentle “micro-workouts” of brain training can create lasting changes in nervous system regulation.Feeling stuck in constant meltdowns or anxious moments at home?Take control of meltdowns with Quick CALM™, a science-backed mini-course with the essential tools to calm your child's brain—and yours too—so peace can finally return to your home. When should I consider neurofeedback for my child?Look for these red flags:Therapy progress is stalled or inconsistentEmotional resets take hours instead of minutesSleep, eating, or sensory issues persistConstant...

In this episode of Now I Get It, I take you into the subtle—but dangerous—world of paltry: the art of lying by telling nothing but the truth. Through stories pulled from literature, current events, and political reporting, I show how selective truth-telling can create powerful false impressions without ever crossing the line into an outright lie. It's a communication tactic hiding in plain sight, and once you see it, you start noticing it everywhere.I share examples from Pride and Prejudice, the Ghislaine Maxwell/Jeffrey Epstein media coverage, and recent reporting on healthcare legislation and government shutdowns. Together, we unpack how missing context can distort public understanding, why accountability in storytelling matters, and how we as consumers of information can learn to recognize when we're being told “the truth”—but not the whole truth. In this episode, you will learn:(00:30) How “paltry” allows someone to lie while saying only true things(01:05) How Wickham misleads Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice(02:30) How media reporting on Epstein and Maxwell omitted essential context(03:45) Why “repeal and replace Obamacare” was always a misleading claim(05:30) How government shutdown coverage distorted both parties' roles(07:20) How to spot selective truth-telling in everyday newsLet's connect!linktr.ee/drprandy Hosted on Acast. In this special Thanksgiving episode of Wisdom's Table, Rachel Wortman delves into the transformative power of gratitude and its profound impact on our lives as Christians. As we gather around the table to celebrate this holiday, I want to shift our focus from the traditional elements of Thanksgiving—like turkey, pie, and football—to the spiritual power that the act of giving thanks can unlock in our lives. Throughout the episode, we explore five hidden powers that Thanksgiving activates, emphasizing that these are not just feel-good sentiments but essential spiritual strategies that can reshape our hearts and minds. We begin by discussing how Thanksgiving opens the gate to God's presence, illustrating this with powerful scriptures such as Psalm 100:4-5 and Philippians 4:6-7. We emphasize that the act of giving thanks is a key that allows us to enter into a deeper relationship with God, inviting His presence into our lives. YOU - The Master Entrepreneur - A Guide to True Greatness with Stan Hustad
As Thanksgiving week arrives, What It Takes Radio brings forward another thoughtful, 10-minute conversation from veteran broadcaster and business performance coach Stan Hustad—a message wrapped in gratitude, wisdom, a touch of humor, and a powerful challenge to do it right in life and business In this Thanksgiving meditation—part encouragement, part coaching moment—Stan reminds listeners that this season isn't just about turkey and tradition. It's about relationships, gratitude, and the courage to live and work with intentional excellence. A Summary That Stands on Its Own In "When I Think of You, I Give Thanks," Stan Hustad gently but firmly calls his listeners into a deeper way of living in the fast-paced performance economy. He speaks candidly as an entrepreneur, missionary, mentor, and world-traveled communicator who has helped build projects, organizations, and creative ventures around the world. But on this holiday week, he narrows the focus to something more intimate and far more important: Don't just do it. Do it right. Do the right thing. Do it in the right way. Do it for the right people. So the right outcomes have a chance to appear. Stan notes that we are now fully immersed in a microphone world—a performance economy where influence, leadership, persuasion, and storytelling travel first through the ear and the screen, long before paper. If you want your business, your cause, your ministry, your mission, or your message to succeed, you must learn to perform, present, and communicate with clarity and heart. But this isn't merely a business message. It's deeply human. Stan calls Thanksgiving his favorite holiday—not because of the food or football, but because a thankful heart is rarely a fearful heart. Gratitude, he says, is the foundation of flourishing. It is the antidote to anxiety, resentment, and weariness. He invites us to approach the close of the year—through Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, and even the coming New Year—with a posture of renewal, fresh beginnings, and a commitment to "do it right" in every part of life. And then comes his signature coaching challenge: Clear your calendar the day before Thanksgiving. Pick up the phone. Call the people who matter. Say, "Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I just wanted you to know I'm thankful for you." Simple. Rare. Beautiful. And guaranteed to make a difference. Things to Remember • A grateful heart is seldom a fearful heart. • Doing it right matters more than just doing it. • You live in a performance economy. If you want to succeed, you must learn to present, perform, and communicate. • New beginnings are always available. • Influence flows through the microphone. Your voice and message matter—use them well. Things to Share with Others • A simple phone call of gratitude can strengthen relationships for years. • Everyone—from business partners to family members—needs encouragement more than we realize. • Thanksgiving is not an event; it's a lifelong posture of appreciation. Things to Take Note Of • Are there places in your life where you've been "just doing it" rather than doing it right? • Which relationships have shaped, supported, or inspired you this year? • What message, story, or idea should you be sharing more boldly in your business or personal calling? Things to Act Upon 1. Make five Thanksgiving calls—clients, colleagues, family, friends. 2. Pick one area of your life or work where you will "do it right" starting this week. 3. Recommit to flourishing—not surviving but thriving in faith, hope, love, and purposeful communication. 4. Start your performance journey—podcasting, broadcasting, storytelling, or speaking—because your message matters. 5. Reach out to Stan for coaching, guidance, or media mentorship: stan@whitradio.net A Warm Thanksgiving Call to Action This Thanksgiving, Stan invites all of us to pause, breathe, and remember that gratitude is not seasonal—it's transformational. When we give thanks for the people who enrich our lives, we unlock joy, courage, creativity, and connection. So this year, don't just celebrate the holiday. Live the holiday. Give thanks boldly. Love generously. And as Stan says— Do it, but this time… do it right. Blessings, gratitude, and flourishing to you today and always.
Dr. Stephan Blackwood joins the show to explore how language shapes consciousness, how words reveal the structure of reality, and why meaning is inseparable from relationship. They discuss the logic of reciprocity, the metaphysics of personhood, why civilization depends on truthful speech, and how distortion of language leads to confusion, tyranny, and cultural decay. Stephan explains how grammar and ontology mirror each other, how the Trinity reveals the deepest pattern of relational being, and why we can only know ourselves through our relationships with others — and with the divine. Dr. Stephan Blackwood is a philosopher, cultural critic, and co-founder of Ralston College, whose work focuses on the intersection of theology, art, and human purpose. // GUEST // Website: https://www.ralston.ac/ X: https://x.com/stephenblackwd YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@RalstonCollegeSavannah // SPONSORS // Heart and Soil Supplements (use discount code BREEDLOVE): https://heartandsoil.co/ Blockware Solutions: https://mining.blockwaresolutions.com Onramp: https://onrampbitcoin.com/?grsf=breedlove Mindlab Pro: https://www.mindlabpro.com/breedlove The Farm at Okefenokee: https://okefarm.com/ Club Orange: https://www.cluborange.org/ // PRODUCTS I ENDORSE // Protect your mobile phone from SIM swap attacks: https://www.efani.com/breedlove Lineage Provisions (use discount code BREEDLOVE): https://lineageprovisions.com/?ref=breedlove Colorado Craft Beef (use discount code BREEDLOVE): https://coloradocraftbeef.com/ Salt of the Earth Electrolytes: http://drinksote.com/breedlove Jawzrsize (code RobertBreedlove for 20% off): https://jawzrsize.com // UNLOCK THE WISDOM OF THE WORLD'S BEST NON-FICTION BOOKS // https://course.breedlove.io/ // SUBSCRIBE TO THE CLIPS CHANNEL // /@robertbreedloveclips2996 // TIMESTAMPS // 0:00 – WiM Episode Trailer 1:21 – The Power of Language & the Structure of Reality 12:44 – How Grammar Reflects Being 24:02 – Personhood, Meaning & Relational Existence 33:18 – How Language Shapes Consciousness 38:17 – Heart and Soil Supplements 39:17 – Mine Bitcoin with Blockware Solutions 40:18 – The Crisis of Meaning in Modern Culture 52:11 – The Collapse of Shared Language 1:03:59 – Reciprocity & the Law That Governs Reality 1:17:40 – How Tyranny Begins with Language Corruption 1:33:15 – Onramp Bitcoin Custody 1:34:12 – Mind Lab Pro Supplements 1:35:22 – Truth as the Foundation of Civilization 1:55:40 – The Purpose of Human Speech 2:13:20 – The Farm at Okefenokee 2:14:29 – The Trinity & the Structure of Personhood 2:28:03 – Why Real Communication Requires Sacrifice 2:37:42 – Club Orange 2:38:09 – Culture, Identity & the Need for Shared Meaning 3:04:14 – Efani: Protect Yourself From SIM Swaps 3:05:20 – Unlock the Wisdom of the Best Non-Fiction Books // PODCAST // Podcast Website: https://whatismoneypodcast.com/ Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast… Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/25LPvm8… RSS Feed: https://feeds.simplecast.com/MLdpYXYI // SUPPORT THIS CHANNEL // Bitcoin: 3D1gfxKZKMtfWaD1bkwiR6JsDzu6e9bZQ7 Sats via Strike: https://strike.me/breedlove22 Paypal: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/RBreedlove Venmo: https://account.venmo.com/u/Robert-Br… // SOCIAL // Breedlove X: https://x.com/Breedlove22 WiM? Tonight on Veritas our special guest is Dr. David Rosmarin. For as long as humans have existed, we have tried to understand the strange force inside us that tightens the chest, stirs the mind, and makes us question our place in the world. We call it anxiety, and most people treat it as a flaw to hide or a malfunction to correct. But what if we have misunderstood it from the very beginning? What if anxiety is not a sign of damage, but a signal that something inside us is trying to awaken? A message pointing toward what matters, what we cherish, what we fear losing, and what we might become if we stop fighting ourselves. Dr. Rosmarin has spent his career studying this misunderstood experience from every angle. He is a Harvard professor and a leading clinical psychologist who has worked with thousands of individuals across the world. His work asks a simple question that most of us never consider. What if anxiety is not here to break us, but to guide us? In his research, clinical cases, and spiritual insights, he reveals how anxiety can sharpen our courage, deepen our compassion, strengthen our relationships, and even open the door to a part of ourselves we rarely explore. We live in a time where people are told to eliminate discomfort at all costs. Yet Dr. Rosmarin challenges this idea by showing that the more we fight anxiety, the stronger it becomes. And the more we welcome it, the more it teaches us about our purpose. He shows that anxiety often appears in the very places where we carry the most meaning. It rises in the presence of love, responsibility, dreams, uncertainty, and identity. In other words, anxiety appears where we are most alive. Tonight, we explore the possibility that anxiety is not the villain. Our relationship with it is. This is a conversation about reclaiming the mind, rediscovering courage, understanding fear in a new way, and finding strength where most people only see weakness. It is a conversation about listening to the signals that rise inside us and allowing them to shape a deeper, more meaningful life. Tonight, Dr. David Rosmarin joins us to help us understand how anxiety can become one of the greatest forces for connection, clarity, and growth. This episode's cover art captures the idea behind "Anxiety Alchemy: The Hidden Power Within." The visual shows a cracked brain surrounded by gears and scattered fragments, illustrating the disruption and inner turmoil that anxiety can create. Out of these cracks, a golden branching filament extends toward a glowing crystal, representing how clarity, strength, and self-discovery can emerge from facing anxiety. Classic alchemical symbols, including triangles and a hexagram, are woven through the gold, evoking the tradition of turning raw, difficult experiences into something valuable. The entire image is a metaphor for how anxiety, when understood and transformed, can reveal unexpected power and personal growth.

In this episode, Dr. Zach sits down with pastor and bestselling author Tim Timberlake to unpack his new book, The Bumpy Road to Better. Tim explains that while life is never easy, it becomes even harder when we try to push through challenges alone and avoid asking for help. Our desire for quick fixes and instant gratification often blinds us to the wisdom God has placed in the very situations we avoid. Through personal stories and biblical insight, Tim shows how God uses pain, pressure, and delays as tools of growth rather than signs of failure. Tim also discusses a few of what he describes as the thirty “hard things” every person must face, from difficult conversations to uncomfortable delays, and how each one can lead to maturity when handled with humility. He emphasizes that what we truly want in life is usually found on the other side of the obstacles we fear. Instead of gritting our teeth and simply surviving discomfort, Tim challenges us to embrace it and allow God to transform us through it. This conversation is a powerful reminder that the bumps in the road are not barriers but bridges to something better. In this episode of the Women Winning Divorce Podcast, Heather Quick dives into the complexities of prenuptial agreements, with a special focus on protecting women's financial rights. She explores the high-stakes scenario when a fiancé demands a prenup but refuses to pay for independent legal counsel, emphasizing the serious risks of signing such agreements without proper representation. Heather explains how prenups can dramatically impact financial security after divorce, why it's crucial to insist on your own lawyer rather than using one chosen by your partner, and what protections should be included to safeguard the less financially secure spouse. Listeners will learn to question a partner's intentions, understand the laws in their state, ensure fairness in prenup terms—including sunset clauses and children's financial needs—and avoid unknowingly signing away their rights. As Heather says, “You need someone independent… don't have him pick your lawyer… I would be very careful with that.” This episode is essential listening for any woman navigating marriage, prenups, and the pursuit of long-term financial security.Join us on our podcast as we navigate the complexities of marriage, divorce, separation, and all related legal and emotional aspects, including adultery, alimony, child support, spousal support, timesharing, custody battles, and the financial impact of dissolution of marriage.Interested in working with us? In this week's show Lian is joined by Stephanie MacKay. Stephanie is a mythologist, wilderness guide, and cultural craftswoman devoted to the long, slow work of remembering how to belong—to land, to lineage, to story, and to each other. As founder and director of Fianna Wilderness School, she has spent the past 15+ years guiding rites of passage, seasonal myth circles, and nature-based mentorship rooted in the wilds. Stephanie's work braids together her Celtic ancestry, years of deep study with Martín Prechtel and the Animas Valley Institute, and a fierce love of story as medicine. She is dedicated to uncovering the vestiges of intact cultural origins within the body of ancient European stories. Drawing from the wellspring of these old mythologies, she seeks to uncover the hidden pathways that lead us to our cultural origins—reviving traditions long forgotten and reawakening the deep cultural wisdom carried in our bones Whether she's guiding wilderness quests, tending seasonal myth circles, or walking the long road of cultural regeneration, Stephanie's devotion is to the deep remembering of who we are and how we belong—through mythic threads that call us back into sacred relationship with the world. In this episode, Lian and Stephanie explore how old stories court the soul. They touch Angela Carter's Red Riding Hood and Stephanie's visceral surprise of feeling Eros as a living thread, the way Lian was moved by Skeleton Woman and the Fisherman's skin against skin, and what union in stories like these is really calling us towards. They trace how desire becomes devotion: noticing where longing really points, letting projection soften so love grows more human and more sacred, and beginning with small ceremony that says 'yes'. Listen if you are moved by myths of great love or sense that what you hunger for is older and deeper than romance. We'd love to know what YOU think about this week's show. Let's carry on the conversation… please leave a comment wherever you are listening or in any of our other spaces to engage. What you'll learn from this episode: How Eros in fairy tales reveals the soul's appetite for the sacred, and why that changes how we read love stories in ordinary life Why projection makes partners carry the sacred, what breaks when they cannot hold that projection, and what becomes possible when the sacred is welcomed directly What happens when you treat ceremony as a first language, even a few words and an offering, and let the next step show itself Resources and stuff spoken about: Visit Stephanie's website Fianna Wilderness School website Join UNIO, The Community for Wild Sovereign Souls: This is for the old souls in this new world… Discover your kin & unite with your soul's calling to truly live your myth. Cancer can be seen as a seed that only sprouts in the right soil—the body's inner landscape. Today, that soil is changing fast, and cancer rates are climbing, especially among young people. Our modern diet—packed with sugar, processed foods, and nonstop snacking—keeps the body flooded with signals to grow, not heal. But there's good news: by eating real, colorful foods and giving the body time to rest between meals, we can calm inflammation, balance our gut, and make our inner soil far less welcoming to disease. The power to shift the story lies in every bite and every pause we take. In this episode, I discuss, along with Dr. Jason Fung and Dr. Thomas Seyfried, how modern diets and constant eating create a fertile soil for disease. Dr. Jason Fung is a physician, author, and researcher. His groundbreaking science-based books about diabetes and obesity, The Diabetes Code, The Obesity Code, and The Complete Guide to Fasting have sold over one million copies and challenged the conventional wisdom that diabetics should be treated with insulin. Dr. Fung is also the co-founder of The Fasting Method, a program to help people lose weight and reverse Type 2 Diabetes naturally with fasting. His work on fasting has been cited by CNN, Time, The Atlantic, Forbes, The Toronto Star, and many other media outlets. His latest book is The Cancer Code: A Revolutionary New Understanding of a Medical Mystery. Dr. Thomas Seyfried is an American professor of biology, genetics, and biochemistry at Boston College. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1976 and did his postdoctoral fellowship at the Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Seyfried has over 150 peer-reviewed publications, and his research focuses primarily on the mechanisms driving cancer, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative diseases and calorie-restricted ketogenic diets in their prevention and treatment. He is the author of Cancer as a Metabolic Disease: On the Origin, Management, and Prevention of Cancer and presently serves on the Nutrition & Metabolism, Neurochemical Research, Journal of Lipid Research, and ASN Neuro editorial boards. In this episode, Swamiji reveals the profound significance of deity worship in Hinduism. While God is all‑pervading, devotees long for a tangible way to express love—offering garlands, food, and service to the Lord. Through powerful stories of Swami Vivekananda, Madhavendra Puri, and Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Swamiji illustrates how the deity becomes a living presence that accepts and reciprocates devotion. Listeners will learn why deity worship is not about stone or wood, but about the sentiments of the heart; how Shree Krishna personally responds to the love of his devotees; and why the ultimate practice is to install the Lord in one's heart through meditation. This episode uncovers the hidden secret of mūrti pūjā: it is a divine simulator preparing us to serve God eternally in His abode. About Swami Mukundananda: Swami Mukundananda is a renowned spiritual leader, Vedic scholar, Bhakti saint, best‑selling author, and an international authority on the subject of mind management. He is the founder of the unique yogic system called JKYog. Swamiji holds distinguished degrees in Engineering and Management from two of India's most prestigious institutions—IIT and IIM. Having taken the renounced order of life (sanyas), he is the senior disciple of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, and has been sharing Vedic wisdom across the globe for decades.

On this episode of What Are You Made Of?, Mike “C-Roc” sits down with globally recognized Ayurvedic and sports medicine expert Dr. John Douillard, DC, CAP—host of the Ayurveda Meets Modern Science podcast and founder of LifeSpa.com. With 40 years of experience teaching how ancient wisdom and modern science intersect, Dr. Douillard reveals why our breath may be the key to longevity, resilience, and peak performance. Ben breaks down the hour-by-hour timeline of what happens during a dry fast — from digestion shutdown and insulin drop, to stem-cell activation and dopamine reset. You'll learn how to prepare safely, when to fast, and how to break it properly for maximum healing. Key benefits: 3x more autophagy than a water fast Massive fat-burning and HGH surge (up to 2000%) Gut and immune reset Cellular cleanup and stem-cell regeneration Emotional clarity and dopamine balance Use this tool wisely — it's not a lifestyle, it's a powerful metabolic reset. How much of what you do every day is really your choice? The food you crave, the shows you watch, the moods you slip into - so much of it is quietly being shaped by invisible influences you probably never notice. In this episode, I talk with Dr. Tatyana El-Kour, a psychologist and registered dietitian who studies how media and technology shape our behavior. She shares how algorithms learn our emotional rhythms - what time of day we're vulnerable, what kind of content keeps us scrolling - and use that data to steer our choices. We also explore something just as powerful: the invisible influence inside us. Your gut microbiome doesn't just affect digestion. It can shape your emotions, focus, and even your resilience. This conversation left me thinking deeply about how easily we're guided by forces we can't see and how much freedom comes from noticing them. Once you recognize what's pulling the strings, you can start reclaiming your power, one intentional choice at a time. As you listen, ask yourself: When do I feel most on autopilot? What's really driving my decisions in those moments? And what would it look like to start choosing differently?
