Students learn how to design, develop and produce rich multimedia content. Students learn the skills and expertise necessary to develop web sites complying with the latest Web 2 standards. Students learn video production skills applicable to news acquisition, advertising and training DVD’s and more. St John’s Multimedia Department is an Apple Authorised Training Centre for Final Cut Pro, the industry leading software for non-linear video editing and production. Students acquire the skills necessary to produce all forms of video material applicable to DVD’s using SD and HD content, the production of video for IPTV and for Streaming Media as well as for iPads, mobile phones and so on. In addition students, using Macromedia Director, learn how to author interactive CD’s for presentation purposes, they learn image processing skills using Adobe Photoshop as well as design skills, media analysis and project management skills and expertise.

Multimedia L6 - This is a one year advance course involving the latest multimedia technologies and giving students the opportunity for the development of rich multimedia content. Students learn the skills and expertise necessary to develop web sites complying with the latest World Wide Web Consortium Web 2 standards.
Students learn cutting edge skills for producing Flash web content, Java Script for interactive web sites, editing and producing sound/ media content for radio and TV etc. Students learn video production skills applicable to news acquisition, short movie development, advertising and training DVD’s and more. All Multimedia Students are given the opportunity to become Apple Certified Final Cut Pro users. St John’s Multimedia Department is an Apple Authorised Training Centre for Professional Applications and Final Cut Studio is the industry leading software for non-linear video editing and production.
