Need For Weeb

We're back from a brief hiatus to give our thoughts on the current season of anime. There's some stuff we've all seen before, and then there's some insanity that I think nobody is ready for. Looks like a fun season, I can't wait to see the animation.

We felt that this season was a little lack luster. There certainly are some great anime being released, but nothing that we think will be an instant classic.

You ever find an anime with a great premise that you were excited about, and then found out that it just sucks. Or possibly the exact opposite, where the premise is bad or just plain weird, but it turns out to be a super awesome show. Well we have too, and we rant, and glorify, and demonify quite a few anime, and share some opinions that could gets us killed in this episode. The nightmare that is 2020 is over, but it wasn't all bad. We had quite a few awesome anime that kept us going through the hellscape of the year. We look back on what came out, and compare what we enjoyed out of all the anime that was released.

This season has a wide range of material from super cute and fluffy, to extremely problematic. We'll certainly be talking about this one for a long time to come. Ok we know we've talked a lot about this show on previous episodes, but we couldn't stop and had to make a full episode talking about the manga, the anime, the characters, and just how much we all hate Mami. She's a total bitch. Enjoy.

Now that we've talked about all of the anime that had manga sources, here is our talk about what is actually good this season. There's a lot to choose from, and to keep ourselves from getting too bogged down, we picked the best and the worst and ranted away.

There are a lot of options to watch this fall as we continue to live through one of the worst years on record. Allow us to provide our insights and thoughts about many of the incoming anime based on the manga chapters that we have access to. This season has shounen, shoujo, yuri, isekai, and many more to choose from this season, some of which we are excited for, and quite a bit we're not. Please Rate and Review at your leisure.

You ever watch anime, and just feel like you're so sick and tired of all those freaking over used tropes and cliches. Well so do we. Here is several cliches that really put us in a bad mood and want to take it out on the world, such as explaining your power in the middle of fights, speed is always the best, or harem at first sight.
