Calls to Holy living and personal soul-winning through sermons delivered by Neil Lukowski.
It's been a while, too long even, since I last posted a sermon. I have two that have been ready, but just haven't gotten around to it. So here it is. The PIC of America's problems. This was preached at Shelby Free Will Baptist Church and I have not taken the time to edit it any. So any imperfections are captured in all their original form.
This was my senior sermon at Southeastern Free Will Baptist College. It was preached in the chapel there. The topic is easy to pick up and the title was not chosen till just now in an attempt to be cute... ;-) I will not post the outline because it is plainly stated in the message. Please listen and take up my challenge...
Preached 8-16-09 in Shelby Free Will Baptist Church. This sermon was heavily influenced by Paul Washer as I had been listening to many of his sermons in the weeks leading up to this message. It is fairly straight forward, I. The Wrath of God II. The Love of God ...but it took just under an hour to cover what I wanted to cover, and unlike my first message, this had a central theme and I believe kept to it. If you realize through listening to this message that you are a sinner and need God's forgiveness, tell Him you are sorry right now, and believe on Him for your salvation. How does Jesus deal with hearts? I really excited about this one! It was delived on Sunday night, May 17 2009, at my wonderful home church of Shelby Free Will Baptist. My new lapel mic is working great. In fact, it's so good that I had to move it away from my mouth and still had to lower the volume in post production. This has hardly been edited and includes my errors and the concluding remarks of my pastor. The outline from Luke 24:13-32 is as folllows... 1. The Lord draws near to the heart (13-17) 2. The heart responds with what it knows of the Lord. (18-21) 3. The heart ponders what it has been told of the Lord. (22-24) 4. The Lord rebukes the unbelieving heart. (25-27) 5. The heart begs and burns for the presence of the Lord. (28-32)
This message was delivered on Wed January 28, 2009. It was an evening service at Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church in Sharpsburg NC. I had been in an accident just two hours prior and was eager to deliver the message. This may account for any sense of quickness in the delivery, as my nerves may still have been a bit frazzled. It is also important to note that I have not taken the time to edit this clip as I have the other two, so all my blunders are still preserved... The passage is Philippians 3:7-8, the theme is "The value of knowing Christ" Being part of a future sermon, the outline is kind of hap-hazard, but it should be expositional in its construction. Gain in our name is loss for His name. There is nothing to be compared to knowing Him. It is worth surrendering all to win Him.
