This week we delve into the Faccombe Back Yard Ultra Event with the 2022 winner Mike Samuels. I met Mike at the inaugural event in 2021 and we were the only two runners 'foolish' enough to enter again a year later. Despite taking up ultra running in the last few years, Mike's attitude towards pushing his limits coupled with his background in fitness has already seen him clock some really impressive times and distances in the sport. Mike is currently training for a unique, self supported challenge he has named 'The Thousand Hundred'.
