He and I discuss how wildfires are a forgotten part of the natural ecosystem and how a mixture of bad policy and environmental changes are contributing to the massive wildfires that we are seeing today. We also discuss strategies for making your home and property more resistant to wildfire, as well as what to think about when looking for a new property in a fire prone area.
