Everything is not as it seems. The choice between between stagnation and inner growth is a decision we have to make and commit to everyday. Are you ready to emancipate yourself from matrix constructs? Are you ready to change your life? This podcast aims to dive into the hidden layers and unravel the deeper meaning within every topic we discuss. It's aim is to prompt thought, growth and expansion and serve as a catalyst on the road to self discovery.
Starting of the new year on a strong and positive note I reflect back at how far I have come and I talk about reaching the other side of depression and the intermediary part of it that I had to go through. Reflecting back on 2020 I speak on the deeper meaning behind the universal shifts and how we can use this time to enhance and 'wake up' while sending love and light to all those who have experienced tragedy during this time. We touch on energy, understanding it, how to handle being alone and I speak about how to bounce back and emerge as a 'hybrid', based off of my own experience.
After four episodes of zoom interviews I go back to basics, just me and the mic, and I catch you all up on what's been going on in my mental space and energetic sphere. I speak about gratitude, the transition from severe depression to where I am now, universal energy shifts, my perspective moving forward and just the overall "deep conversations" you can expect from me. This is one to listen to and gets the ball rolling for all the new upcoming content.
In the final episode of the first round of my zoom interviews I chatted with Anesu, founder of Anesu Couture. She is an engineering student, artist and business owner currently residing in China. We talked about music, art, her journey through pain and how she overcame it. She spoke about starting a clothing brand, the ins and outs that go with it and how living fair away from home has affected her. We got a sneak peak into her as a person, the girl behind the brand and it was a pleasure getting to know her more. I think this interview could be insightful to future brand owners and anyone willing to listen to it.
In the third zoom interview of this series, I interview an old friend and colleague, Graedon Boswell. Graedon is a networker, life coach, and an overall insightful person. We speak about growth, working in sales, working for yourself and the new world we've found ourselves living in. Diving into the law of attraction we discuss how it impacted our own lives and how we implement it on a daily basis. We speak about the power we have within ourselves and dive into the the inner workings of us a humans and how to use that inner power to our advantage. Graedon is such an insightful person who has so much to impart and I know whoever listens to this episode will have something positive to take away from it. It was lovely catching up with him after years of no contact and I'm sure you will all enjoy this conversation.
In this episode I caught up with an old friend, Ayanda Mazibuko, a black, queer feminist and storyteller currently living in Johannesburg, South Africa. We speak about her journey over the last few years since we last spoke, touching on "the new normal", art, expression, introspection and healing. Diving into societal and social dynamics, we tackle the subject of micro-aggression, racism and what it means being black and marginalised in South Africa. We speak about awakening, growth, finding ourselves and maintaining relationships and friendships during the pandemic and how self awareness plays a big part in the evolution of self. She's an amazing person with lovely energy and I really enjoyed interviewing her for this episode.
Trizzle is a "full-time" artist and a "part-time" 9-5'er, as he so brilliantly said in his introduction. In this episode we hopped on a zoom call and I got to pick his brain and get to know him a bit more. We talked about all things music: our "why" as artists and why it's so important to find it, how he started in music, his rap career, his producer side and how patience is the most important virtue to learn as an artist (as said by Trizzle himself). I picked his brain on his beliefs and how his faith and moral compass have played a role in his music career, the introspection and creativity that came out of lockdown and how all things work for their highest good. From 'mixtapes' to 'the work day,' this interview is all things Trizzle and he shares the deeper and introspective side of himself with us. From growth, to life, to moving forward, this interview has something for everyone.
On the journey of personal growth, you face the biggest roadblock which is yourself. True growth reflects itself in someone who is able to objectively look at themselves and their circumstances and acknowledge that maybe THEY might be the problem. In all life's situations, good and bad, we hold some accountability, varying in magnitude and severity. The only way to fix your faults and enhance yourself as a person is by acknowledging your own toxicity and working on it. Through this journey you will find your greatest growth.Connecting to your truth aligns with this notion. As you now learn to understand yourself and know yourself, your wants and desires start to reveal themselves more clearly to you as well as the path you need to take to get to them. The more we align with our inner selves, the more our outer world reflects the manifestation of this truth and our true purpose and life calling. In this episode we touch on these topics and start this all so important conversation.
After a two month hiatus I’m back with fresh, new content! The premise is the same, the intention is the same but the execution will be different. The episodes will be less rigid and overthought and will now reflect my process of 'streaming consciousness.' The previous content did embody this to some degree but overthinking and rushing had me deliver content that I believe wasn't of the standard that it could be. I still believe in it now as each chapter signifies an important benchmark in this journey but I'm trying to enhance the concept, elevate it from its foundations and come more into myself. This podcast will be a reflection of my thought process and the way I view the world and consciousness. In this week's episode we talk about the rebrand, the idea and reasons behind the ongoing “rebrands” in our lives. We speak about the importance of introspection and deep thinking, leading all the way into the origins of not only the universe but our own existence. I speak about unplugging, the effects of social media on our mental landscape and the effects forward thinking, grounding and visualisation have on what we manifest. We are embarking on a new chapter and I'm exited to share this journey with you.
Appearance, body image, aesthetics and perception... an ongoing and persistent debate and internal battle. How much importance does your outer vessel carry? Is it a crime to prioritise and care about how you look? In this episode we dive into this topic and I share about my personal experience with it and how I've grown and evolved in the relationship with my looks.
"Spiritual Awakening."I'm sure you have heard this term before and if you haven't YOU WILL or rather, you have now! It refers to the process one undergoes when an internal transformation takes place that causes a revelation of grace and emancipates you from the confines of the matrix. 'The veil' is dropped and suddenly the world as you have always seen it changes shape. It is a breakthrough in perspective and the elevation of consciousness. Some people endure a kundalini awakening during this time or dive into spirituality/ numerology or just the world of the unseen in general. This process causes its growing pains too but overall it is the best thing that could ever happen to you, gaining a FULL and OPEN awareness. In this episode we dive into this concept and explore the process and and the stages of awakening.
"Why am I here?" "What is my purpose?"Questions that cross your mind at some point in your life or plague your mind for a significant part of it. Finding purpose and passion can be a lifelong journey and in this episode we dive into this topic. What is soul searching and how do we do it? How do we find ourselves, our truth and our reason for being? I share my experience and offer some insight on how to start this process in your own life.
When following your dreams, the foundation of your structure has to be faith. In this episode we dive into the concept of faith and the importance of it when turning your dreams into a reality.
We're all haunted by them, we're all affected by them, each in our own severity and each in our own ways.Flashbacks and anxiety over past experiences affect everyone. How do we deal with them, how do we heal? In this episode we dive into this discussion and navigate a way forward.
