Walk with me on my journey in discovering who I am in God's eyes, and how I am learning to be His good and faithful servant.
We sometimes might feel hidden from God and that He doesn't hear or see us. That, my friend, is a lie straight from Hell. God does hear and see you, everything is in His timing.
It is crucial to pray to God in the highs and lows of life. But is that the only time we are going to God? What does the bible say about praying and how it increases our faith.
You may not know your purpose yet or you feel as though God has forgotten you since we aren't walking in our purpose yet. God never once said He forgot or doesn't care about us, He said He has great plans for us, but it's in His timing, not ours,
What are things our culture has normalized today? What comes to mind first to me is sickness and disease. Those things are not from God. What does God say about sickness and disease?
Sometimes we know when the expiration date on things have expired, but we ignore God and continue that "thing". God loves you and wants more for us, but are we wanting what our flesh wants from life. or what God wants?
What are the blessings of God? God loves us, He wants all the blessings that are meant for us to find us. You will be blessed coming in and going out (Deu. 28:6). But, before you get your blessings, you may have to have a heart check.
Forgiveness. It's easy to say we forgive someone, but to truly mean it in your heart and move on from those feelings is another. What does God say about forgiveness and are there levels to it?
Stress. It's something we all deal with in different ways. But, it's not our burden to carry. You may feel like you've got the weight of the world on your shoulders, but if you fully give it to God, guess what you get in return? Peace, joy, happiness, calmness.
We tend to doubt God when we aren't seeing things play out like He had promised us. But I ask you, where is your faith? Are you putting your trust in God, or in man? Are you pressing into God and what He said He would do, or the way it's looking in the natural. Remember, if you have a pulse, God still has a plan.
It's always hard to feel motivated when you feel weak but during the process of getting strength, it takes dealing with your weaknesses. Allow yourself to open up to God and let Him in and heal the parts of you that you are the most scared of. He wants to take that pain and use it for His glory.
The heaviness of this world and the things that are going on all around us can feel overwhelming and weigh us down. Those feelings and that heaviness are not ours, we are not meant to carry that load. Give it over to God and ask Him to take it, and I assure you that He will.
This year has been a crazy one, to say the least. My question to you is, where is your heart? Are you focused on the things of this world and what the media is focusing on, or are you focusing on the things above and what God says?
No matter what life throws at us, God is on control. Satan loves to get into our heads to think what we have isn't good enough compared to the next person, especially on social media. What does God's word say about that though?
Trusting God when our lives don't look like what He has promised can be scary. But, we are called to live by faith and not walk by sight. Let's see what God says bout trusting Him.
It can be easy to judge people for not being up to our "standards". We can see people as "less than". But, none of us are perfect. We have all fallen short of the glory of God. Because God is such a good father, He has shown us His grace and mercy. We are expected to do the same.
It is hard to always give a person (or people) grace when they have done us wrong. It can be so easy to say "they deserve it" or "well they did this to me", and to make excuses for why we are reacting they way we are. But God has called His people higher. He has called us to show grace and love even when they don't deserve it. He paid the ultimate sacrifice for us all.
My heart has felt heavy lately. I feel as though God has forgotten me and His promises. But isn't that when Satan loves to come in the most? When we are feeling weak and "down". But God...
Being in the middle of a storm, whether it be a physical storm or a storm in our lives, how do you feel? Are you scared, anxious, worried? Or are you calm, have peace and have a solid foundation. We may feel as if we have hit rock bottom, but guess who's the rock at the bottom? God.
It can be scary wondering what God is doing in your life and how He is working. He is most likely asking you to do things out of your comfort zone, are you ready? God wants to take you higher with Him, to soar to new heights and experience all that He has truly created you for. Are you willing to go all in and trust Him?
It can be challenging waiting on God, wondering what He is doing or going to do in your life. I challenge you to not focus on when God is going to show up, but to focus on praising His name through it. Thanking Him for what He has already blessed you with, and what He is going to bless you with.
It can be challenging waiting on God, wondering how He is working behind the scenes in our lives. But, we do know that is is a good Father, He does work everything out for our good and once we begin to be faithful in the small things, we begin to see that we are blessed with the big.
You were designed for great things. Don't let the fear of what others think of you, stop you from doing and being all that God has called you to become.
