Asthon grew up playing some baseball, basketball, wrestling, football, and because we lived in a cul de sac in the suburbs we were always outside riding bikes and jumping on trampolines and all that kid stuff...so I’ve just always been active. In middle school, I narrowed it down to football and wrestling and that’s when I started lifting weights with my older brother. Then in high school, I continued to do wrestling and football and trained with the track team some for cross-training in addition to lifting weights during the off-season and a weights class. In college, I played football at ESU for five years and continued to lift hard. After football, I took about two years off from any real lifting cause I was tired of banging the weights and my body felt worn out. During that time off from lifting I started PT school at WSU and met Broeckelman and he challenged me to get back into it. So I fell back in love with it and decided to get knowledgeable about what I was doing.
In this episode, we get to know Matt Broeckelman and we talk about his top 3 pieces of advice for improving your health and fitness routine! Enjoy.
