Dr Crispin Hyde-Dunn is Headmaster of Dragon School, a leading Prep school in Oxford, a position he has held since 2017.   His previous headship experience includes Head at Abingdon Prep and Deputy Head Academic at King’s College School in Cambridge. Claire is Headteacher of Holme Grange School, a leading independent school in Wokingham, Berkshire, a position she has held since 2009. With headship and governor experience in both state and independent schools since 2001, Claire has successfully led Holme Grange through a period of vast change; increasing the age range of teaching to include GCSE and increasing pupil numbers by 250%.  Claire is a visionary head and champions a truly holistic education for every child. In 2005 Claire was awarded ‘Headteacher of the Year in a Primary School for the South of England’ in the National Teaching Awards, and more recently Claire and her team at Holme Grange were awarded the ISA Senior School Award for Academic Excellence and Innovation.  Listen to Claire give her view on lots of topics, including; forest schools and teaching outdoors, teaching children with learning difficulties, grades, balancing a broad curriculum with academic excellence and what parents should consider when selecting schools.
