President For a Day is a competition where students put their resume and interview skills to the test by competing for the honor of shadowing the campus President for a day. Feeling like a strong candidate to compete for this honor, I was more than ready to put my best foot forward until death hit my family before the first round of interviews. It was a roller-coaster ride of highs and lows, but the love and support of my family and community helped me overcome.
