All my life I have asked the hard questions. When I was in elementary school, they gave me an award certificate with the title "Socratic Thinker" which they had never given to a child before. Now they would probably label him with ADHD instead of give him
I spent some time recently in San Francisco and saw some of the local street performers. One in particular was doing a one man band act in which he played multiple instruments at once through clever engineering and pure talent. I was inspired as such that I want to do a simular thing but instead with my instruments and playing to the best of my ability. I am still learning so I know that there are going to be a lot of mistakes in the process. But just like the street art, podcasting is a great platform to get out whatever trapped creativity lies beneath the surface.. without pushing it on the listener. Id love for people to listen to the difficulties in the music making process as they would zone out into a podcast, however i understand its not always pleasant sounds. However, for those that listen, as always enjoy! Also I do not own the rights to the song I covered. The original song (I shortened it to one phrase) is Suicide Saturday - Hippo Campus.
Felt the mood to get up and jam and wanted to get it down on virtual paper. Most of it is garbage but as for all podcasts..enjoy!
My vocals are still in training so please enjoy me jamming around on my babies in the mean time. Hope to be back to full or at least partially full podcast strength soon. As always enjoy! And yes I do realize when I suck at the instrument but im not putting this out here to show my "incredible talent". I want everyone to see my failure in order to inspire anybody to do anything they feel passionate about.
Welcome back! I took a big break in accordance with life events. I moved and have been busy restructuring my life. Took some major time off of podcasting but this is my way of trying to get back into it. My talking voice is still under reconstruction so for now, I have my instruments to speak for me. Enjoy!
Eh I kind of abandoned the podcast for now. Sometimes you hit a rough patch and your motivation falls short. Heres some gloomy recordings of me on guitar. Im trying to evolve my music into more listenable songs in the future. Also still working on getting guests if this podcast continues. Enjoy!
Just had to get something out there not my best.. but im saving it for when I get some people on. Hopefully should be soon. But yeah as always enjoy and be careful on the road!
Just another guitar podcast where i experiment with bringing music to the show. The title song (yes im bringing them back) is Brand Name- Mac Miller. I will have a formal vocal podcast soon I just really want guests for the next show so there may be more music in the next few episodes. Enjoy.
Out in nature with a suprise twist towards the middle/end youll want to hear. Also the guitar work wasnt my best but I only had like 15 minutes to work with so I made do. But yeah im back to it. Im gonna do a carcast later as a different podcast mabye tonight on my drive home from work. As always..Enjoy!
Honestly have been kind of down in the dumps lately. When I go through phases as such, my guitar takes place of my voice while I spend time focusing on building back up my confidence. I am not social by nature so I often experience phases where I dont speak very much in order to preserve the quality of what I have to say. With that being said I know the sound quality is garbage but I left it like that just to give the listener a chance to feel the somberness from where the music is being generated. The first 2 segments were recorded with my Ibanez and the last with my Jasmine. I played percussion in high school which is why you might here alot more tapping. Again this is my first music only podcast so I promise the next time I wont insult you by recording on phone quality. Truth be told I was too lazy to go get my microphone from the car. Enjoy!
Just a random one. Beautiful day in the city. I took that photo on the drive today.
Continuation of the first. My goal is to clean up as much as possible. Some will be podcasts other times ill just be going down there and collecting. So the title picture is actually a puzzle. Your objective: Find the squirrel in the photograph.
Nothing special just picking up trash with a few philosophical points thrown in the mix. Definately meant to inspire with this one. Actually if any of my episodes dont get listens BUT this one Id be happy. But yeah as always enjoy.
Formal episode 3 of this podcast. I talk about cooking, reexplore places ive recorded in before, shoutout some awesome brands, almost get food poisoning, and this one is a proper 6 segment episode. Enjoy yall and please find a way to listen to all title songs!
10 minutes before I had to walk out the door for work and suddenly I had a panic. I didnt do a podcast today. May not be able to record for a bit so i scrapped this 10 minute guitar sesh up as my Friday episode. Its all music so feel free to skip if this isnt your vibe. Song is Buttons- Mac Miller. RIP you will always be a vibrant symbol for music and your city.
Back to recording in my room. We talk about a new book and I try to add sponsors into my cast. Bonus music sesh at the end if yall are interested. Enjoy!
Out in the woods. This one goes out to Pat. I have alot of ideas with this style and look to further experiment.
No real point in this one just had some free time. Not my best.
Reporting live from my Honda. Im not even kidding I almost died recording this one. Do not try podcasting while driving in the rain it can be moderately dangerous! Hope you enjoy the stories and thrills.
I honestly dont have a good description for this one. Listening is the best description.
