There will always be ups and downs, no matter where you are in your journey. It's important to feel into them and let them exist so you can pass through them and be more present, which is what I had to do this past week. The pandemic definitely set people down a journey of healing. We are in a place right now where people are searching for healing, no matter what stages of healing we are in. With all the opinions and options in this world, it can be easy to lose sight of what is true to you and your heart, and in this episode, I really want to focus on the beliefs you may have around the healing journey. Now I know we've all played the game two truths and a lie, but in this episode, I share my spin on it- three lies and a truth. My three lies/myths and a truth focus on: Where to focus your energy and how to view the “outcome” you are searching for How to view the concept of time with respect to your healing What to realistically expect once you heal a wound Where the healing journey actually takes you All this is to say, that to really commit to the journey, you have to respect the ebbs and flows of your energy, your emotions, and your ability to work on your growth. I wanted to spend this episode breaking these myths because it is easy to get caught up in what we think healing should be. Connect with me on socials: Instagram: @thefourletterproject & @kailaniraye
Welcome back to the Four Letter Project Podcast! This week, I want to dive into the familiar saying, “to be in this world, but not of it.” In today's episode, I share my experience navigating through the duality of being a millennial woman of God, as well as really getting into the concept of the Church Wound. Growing up I met more and more people that were negatively impacted by the church. I experienced firsthand how the judgments certain people of God hold can really create a closed-off environment that leaves many feeling alone. In this episode, I dig into my experiences releasing those judgments and leaning into my curiosity, specifically for me with reiki and crystals. Also- This past week I went on my stories and answered some of your questions as a life coach. I decided that I loved it so much that I'm turning it into a weekly thing! Every Monday (start date pending), catch me on my stories for my Mindful Moment Mondays, and ask me any question that has been puzzling you! In this episode, I dive a bit deeper into the importance of addressing privilege on your healing journey. When I started my healing journey I kept coming across humans that did not understand my perspective and experiences. There were not many people who experienced the same as me and we're openly leading on their healing journey. The truth is, it doesn't matter how trained or educated you are, if you have not walked in the same shoes as someone, you'll never be able to genuinely feel and resonate with someone else's experience. I get into: How privilege affects healing The body's biological reaction during survival mode How peace is integral in finding hope Epigenetics & ancestral healing, why family history plays such a big part in your healing process Reflecting on the movements that we as a society have experienced, and how healers have shifted their processes because of them & more :) Connect with me on socials: Instagram: @thefourletterproject & @kailaniraye

I'm thrilled to share the very first episode of The Four Letter Project Podcast! Thank you so much for being here, sharing your time with me, and inviting me into your space, your spirit and your heart. What is The Four Letter Project? It's a space for women to come together to heal and learn. It's a space that celebrates LOVE. Love for self, love for God, love for sisterhood and everything in between. When I began my journey of self-reflection and self-healing a few years ago, I quickly realized that many of the women I looked to for advice didn't look like me. I created the The Four Letter Project to share my learnings as a Half-Filipino Half-Black woman, and become the person I needed to hear from when I was younger. My hope is that every woman that comes into my space is reminded that they are loved, needed, gifted, and destined for greatness. If I can help you remember who you are, and guide you to become the person you were always meant to be, then my job is done. Again, welcome to The Four Letter Project Podcast. I'm so excited! There is so much more to come ✨ Connect with me on socials: Instagram: @thefourletterproject & @kailaniraye
