Fatherlessness results in weak men who are hungry for approval from a strong man. Which is why you find "harems of beta-males" in orbit around some "alpha guru" who functions as their tribal chieftain. 
 These weak men are desperate for their chieftain's approval.
 Thus, these men are very vulnerable to the manipulations of an alpha-guru.

“Man up” or “be a man” are phrases commonly employed by weak men and brash women to silence, shame, and manipulate a man into acting in an unmanly way.

The reformer is neither a compromiser or a revolutionary. 
The compromiser has a can of paint. The revolutionary has a can of gasoline. But the reformer has a toolbox. 

Reformers are pragmatic but principled. They recognize that both personal and corporate change is incremental. It's form of sanctification. They don't create from nothing. They reform what exists

Most men's ministries are just women's ministries but with bacon.

Men must know how to keep a cool head when calm turns to chaos all around them. Men must know how to defuse or redirect their anger towards something constructive. Men must practice emotional restraint. If men are to be leaders, they must be temperate (1 Tim 3:2, Titus 2:2).

Where's the masculine energy? It's in the arena, not the sanctuary.
