In this thought-provoking episode, the Everyday Black Men crew sits down with guest Antonio Michael, who opens up about his radio show The Next Chapter, his spiritual alter ego Black Cherokee, and his experience growing up Afro-Indigenous in Canada. The conversation spirals into comedic but sincere takes on Drake as a universal Canadian Black man and how intuitive beliefs shape identity more than evidence. Antonio shares his inspirations—from visions to family stories—and dives deep into the tensions between Black and Indigenous histories, the controversial rise of alternative origin theories, and the pain of erasure in American institutions. Reed and Antonio trade perspectives on slavery narratives, reparations, and whether associating with Africa strengthens or divides Black people today. With sharp humor and layered honesty, this episode blends cultural commentary, personal reflection, and a side of bone spur jokes into one unforgettable conversation.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/everyday-black-men--2988631/support.

Jeffrey Epstein's story isn't just about one predator—it's a brutal indictment of how the American justice system bends for the rich and breaks the poor. Despite years of credible accusations, dozens of underage victims, and a mountain of evidence, Epstein managed to evade real justice for decades. His 2008 Florida plea deal—engineered by powerful lawyers and signed off by then–U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta—gave him a sweetheart sentence that allowed him to leave jail six days a week on “work release.” The deal secretly immunized co-conspirators and denied victims the right to be heard, a direct violation of the Crime Victims' Rights Act. It was the ultimate display of privilege: a man who bought his freedom with money and influence while his victims were left to rot in silence. The system didn't fail by accident—it functioned exactly as it was designed to for people with Epstein's power.Even in death, the system continued its farce. Epstein's death inside a federal jail exposed staggering negligence—cameras malfunctioned, guards falsified logs, and evidence vanished. The Department of Justice's Inspector General confirmed “serious misconduct and negligence” but offered little accountability. No one higher up faced real consequences, and the network of enablers—financiers, lawyers, royals, and academics—walked away untouched. The courts offered settlements, not justice; hearings, not answers. Three years after his death, Epstein's case remains a mirror held up to a broken system—a system that shields the powerful, discards the vulnerable, and calls it due process.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com
Bottom line is any person in your life will always treat you exactly how you've taught them to treat you and how you've allowed them to treat you! It doesn't matter who the individaul is, they will do to you what you allow them to get away with! You teach your significant other exactly how he or she can treat you because you show your vulnerabilities out of what you perceive is love, when it has nothing to do with love. A person who truly loves you should enhance your life, not use, abuse, or control you! Most people don't have a clue of what love is because they've never learned to love self first!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/relationships-and-relatable-life-chronicles--4126439/support.

In January of 2011, 27-year-old first-grade teacher Ellen Greenberg came home early from work and was found dead hours later on her kitchen floor by her fiance. She had twenty stab wounds covering her body, ten of them to the back of her neck and head, and a ten-inch knife buried deep into her heart. The Medical Examiner called it suicide. Ellen's parents have spent fourteen years and over $800,000 proving that's impossible. Renowned forensic experts find evidence of wounds inflicted after death, a crime scene was cleaned before investigators could properly examine it, and a fiancé who called his attorney uncle before calling 911. Ellen was planning her wedding, loved her students, and didn't like the sight of blood. Can someone really stab themselves ten times in the back of the head? And if Ellen didn't kill herself, why won't Philadelphia call it murder?Sources:Hulu Documentary: "Death in Apartment 603: What Happened to Ellen Greenberg?"https://www.cnn.com/2025/10/13/us/ellen-greenberg-death-philadelphia-cechttps://edition.cnn.com/2025/02/03/us/ellen-greenberg-philadelphia-case-update-cechttps://www.cnn.com/interactive/2024/01/us/ellen-greenberg-mystery-dghttps://www.foxnews.com/us/ellen-greenberg-case-pennsylvania-woman-found-dead-20-stab-wounds-ruled-suicidehttps://www.foxnews.com/us/pennsylvania-teacher-found-stabbed-20-times-ruled-suicide-parents-fight-justicehttps://www.inquirer.com/news/ellen-greenberg-suicide-ruling-philadelphia-parents-lawsuit-20250210.htmlhttps://www.inquirer.com/news/ellen-greenberg-death-suicide-philadelphia-lawsuit-20241217.htmlhttps://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/ellen-greenberg-case-philadelphia-suicide-rulinghttps://www.oxygen.com/crime-news/ellen-greenberg-death-ruled-suicide-despite-20-stab-woundshttps://www.cbsnews.com/philadelphia/news/ellen-greenberg-case-pennsylvania-supreme-courthttps://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/ellen-greenberg-case-pennsylvania-supreme-court-to-hear-casehttps://people.com/ellen-greenberg-death-investigation-timelineBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/reverie-true-crime--4442888/support.

! JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN for this week's Astro News You Can Use @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking on this week's “Karmic Evolution's Astrologically Speaking” podcst which drops October 31!As we wax toward next week's November 5 Taurus Full Moon it's important to note that it will be highlighted first by the exact opposition of Mars in Sagittarius to Uranus retrograde in Gemini November 4. All eyes, at least here in America, will be on the U.S. elections that day.On one hand, this Mars/Uranus opposition might mean a sudden about face in terms of voters' preferences—at least for those who are going to the polls that day, be they Republicans, Democrats, or Independents. “Most frequently this transit signifies the explosive release of tension through sudden anger against someone, especially persons close to you,” according to Rob Hand in his “Planets In Transit” book. “These people will make you feel restless & irritable, & you will blow up at them easily. Expect to have feelings of great impatience.”“On the other hand, this transit can represent a time when your efforts to liberate yourself from unnecessary & inhibiting restrictions start to succeed,” Hand continues. “Now you can really feel that you are becoming free of these bonds….But you can expect considerable resistance from others & it will not be easy,” he cautions. So, as we wax toward the 13'23” Taurus Full Moon opposite the Scorpio Sun, which occurs at 5:19 a.m. PT & 8:19 a.m. ET, we may find that recent tensions revolving around tighter governmental controls drives more people to the polls than normal during an off year election.Meanwhile, with Saturn & Neptune both currently retrograde in Pisces since their entrances into Mars-ruled Aries earlier this year, we continue to see the rapid dissolution of foundational structures, walls, & boundaries here in the U.S. government under the current Trump Administration. As New York Times' Op-Ed columnist Maureen Dowd put it on October 25: “We are awash in nautical metaphors as the president plunders and pillages. He's a pirate--and not the fun Halloween kind.” Dowd add: “Congress is adrift. The White House is a shipwreck. Trump is marauding in the Caribbean. James Comey and Letitia James are being forced to walk the plank, and next up could be Jack Smith and Adam Schiff.”“IN A WORLD THAT KEEPS ON PUSHING ME AROUND, I WON'T BACK DOWN”While the Taurus Moon wants peace, calm, & serenity, at the full Moon it reflects the light of the Scorpio Sun back onto itself—thus revealing the Scorpio Sun's more controlling shadow side. Manipulation to gain or keep power--particularly through joint resources (read: taxpayers' monies), sex, & violation of trust—are undeniably currently in the forefront of the energy here in America. Proof of this, as we wax now toward the exact Mars/Uranus opposition & the Taurus Full Moon November 4 & 5, respectively, came when Mercury in Sagittarius opposed Uranus in Gemini exact on October 30, & we learned this from The Hill publication:“The National Guard is building a ‘quick reaction force' of some 23,500 troops trained in crowd control and civil disturbance that can be ready to deploy to U.S. cities by early next year, according to a leaked memo reported by multiple outlets Wednesday.“The Oct. 8 memo, signed by National Guard Bureau Director of Operations…orders the Guard from nearly every U.S. state, Puerto Rico and Guam to train 500 service members. States with smaller populations, such as Delaware, will have 250 troops in their forces, while Alaska will have 350, and Guam will have 100, Task & Purpose”—a publication geared toward the U.S. military community” reported.Let's remember, too, that on October 8, we were waxing toward an exact Chiron/Eris conjunction in Aries, which indicated either wounding that causes chaos, or chaos that results in wounding—take your pick. What's obvious, however, is that this pair was also opposed by both luminaries in Libra at the Libra New Moon on October 21, which also squared Jupiter & Pluto, setting up the energies for this month's lunar cycle which is not even halfway through yet.A PUSH COMES TO SHOVE MOMENTAs we reach the culmination of this monthly lunar cycle at the Taurus Full Moon, it's a push comes to shove moment, at least here in America. Soon, not only immigrants who look or speak differently from typical Americans (read: usually meaning white) but local protestors against the already ongoing invasion of mostly blue state's cities will be in danger throughout the nation as well.Meanwhile, the disabled, children, & seniors are being cut off from the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) as of November 1, when T-square is formed as Venus in Libra opposes Chiron & Eris in Aries & they all square Jupiter in Cancer that day.By early morning election day, November 4, Mars enters Sagittarius at 8:01 a.m. ET, the MOON enters Taurus at 11:16 a.m. & then quincunxes Mars @ 11:25 a.m. Finally, Mars then opposes Uranus exact at 12:30 pm. Hoo boy, that's a lotta change over the course of only about four & a half hours from 8:01 a.m. to 12:30 pm ET. But there's more—following that at 1:30 p.m., the Taurus MO squares PL in AQ.And it's this aspect on November 4 that “encourages compulsive behavior,” according to Rob Hand. “Your emotions acquire so much momentum that it is difficult not to give in to sudden urges & impulses that may not be good for you in the long run, particularly if you have been trying to suppress your feelings.” However--& this is a BIG however--this transit “is least difficult if you deal with your feelings honestly & do not try to hide them from yourself.” Given the fact that seven million people took to the streets on No Kings Day to oppose the current tyrannical nature of the U.S. Government under Donald Trump, it's clear they did not hide their emotions from themselves—or anyone else. Given that as a foreshadow, it's not hard to imagine that this fixed Moon/Pluto square's energy on the day of the election—along with the other aspects mentioned--may well result in a groundswell of support against current Scorpionic machinations designed to disempower the masses.K, there's A LOT MORE Astro News You Can Use—including more about what's been going on--& will go on—astrologically in this week's podcast, so be sure to tune in starting today October 31 @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking Till then, namaste…
This week, I'm sharing a private Q&A episode usually reserved for my Patreon and Substack members. I wanted to make this one public because it speaks to something so many survivors struggle with: the pull of the trauma bond, the shame that lingers, and the confusion around whether someone has truly changed. In this episode, I answer two powerful listener questions:1️⃣ How do I stop the shame and craving when I'm still trauma bonded? 2️⃣ How do I know if my ex is really changing — or if it's just the cycle repeating itself? We talk about what's really happening in your body when you crave the “good version” of them, how to starve the cycle without starving yourself, and how to recognize when “healing language” is being used as another form of manipulation. If this episode resonates, there's a whole archive of private Q&As, coaching deep dives, and exclusive content waiting for you on Patreon and Substack. You can submit your own questions, join private discussions, and get access to extended episodes and strategy sessions I don't share anywhere else.

Most founders lie to themselves long before they ever pitch an investor. They convince themselves their story is clear, their deck is solid, and their passion will carry them through. The truth? Investors can smell self-deception a mile away. In this episode of The Inquisitor Podcast, Marcus Cauchi sits down with Ben Wiener, venture capitalist, author of the novel Fever Pitch, and someone who knows what it's like to fail spectacularly before finding the formula for investor resonance. Ben's first fund didn't just flop, it crashed. He pitched over 27 investors, was rejected every single time, and even received a few profane ejections. But instead of walking away, he dissected every misstep and built a structural narrative that now underpins the most persuasive startup pitches. Despite being fiction, Fever Pitch hit #1 in multiple non-fiction categories because it teaches a painful truth: most founders don't lose funding because their idea is bad, but because they fail to tell their story truthfully, empathetically, and structurally. What You'll Learn in This Episode 1. Storytelling Isn't Manipulation. It's Communication Many founders, particularly those with technical or analytical backgrounds, resist storytelling. They see it as emotional fluff or manipulation. Ben argues the opposite: stories are how human brains process truth. He explains how a well-structured narrative, rooted in the hero's journey, helps investors understand what's at stake, where the opportunity lies, and why this team is the one to back. As Ben puts it, the goal isn't to cram everything into your pitch. It's to decide what not to say. Founders who “firehose” investors with data end up obscuring their brilliance. The art lies in compression: crushing a lump of charcoal into a diamond. 2. The H-E-A-R-T Framework: How to Win Investor Attention Ben developed the H-E-A-R-T framework to help founders design pitches that resonate instead of repel. Each letter corresponds to a psychological trigger that maps to how investors make decisions: Element Focus Founder Insight H – Hypothesis Start with why. Throw down a belief statement that calls out something broken in your market. E – Enormous Stakes Make it matter. If the problem isn't big, neither is the opportunity. A – Alternatives Are Grossly Inadequate Build tension. Show that the current state is “totally effed up” so your solution feels inevitable. R – Radically Differentiated Solution Deliver the hero. Your idea must be a leap, not a tweak. Investors crave paradigm shifts, not feature lists. T – Traits and Skills of the Team Prove capability. Investors don't buy ideas—they buy the hacker, the hustler, and the hipster. Prove you're all three or have them in your team. 3. Empathy: The Secret Weapon in Pitching and Sales The best founders sell like the best salespeople: they start where the buyer is, not where they wish they were. Ben and Marcus explore why empathy isn't softness, it's strategic. When you meet the investor where they are mentally, you can anticipate objections before they surface, disable the “red neurons” of doubt, and guide them toward clarity instead of confusion. And remember: being invited to pitch doesn't mean you're trusted. You still need to prove your credibility through behaviour, not biography. 4. Balancing Ambition and Reality Entrepreneurship is lonely, and founders must live between two worlds: belief and reality. You need enough delusion to keep pushing against the odds, but enough realism to recognise when something's broken. Ben and Marcus talk about how to use rejection as a diagnostic tool, not an emotional wound. Sometimes, the strongest negative reactions mean you're onto something non-consensus but right. The trick is to refine your structure, not abandon your conviction. As Marcus says, “Run to the sound of gunfire. Find people who'll prove you wrong, that's where the gold is.” For Female Founders Ben's framework levels the playing field by focusing on traits and roles rather than pedigrees and logos. It values demonstrable ability over image. The episode also redefines selling and leadership as acts of service: helping others make the best decision for themselves. For founders juggling ambition, life, and sanity, this conversation offers a grounded, practical guide to staying both bold and real. It's about truth, empathy, and building the credibility to lead others. If you've ever wondered why your story doesn't land, or if you've secretly feared you're the one holding your business back, this conversation will hold up the mirror and show you why. Listen now. Face the ugly mirror. And learn to sell your truth.
It's all about the mindset that you have! When you're of unhealed hearts and minds you're very quick to act and/or react over things to include speculation and lies! Many people are very easily provoked over hearsay. It goes back to the ridiculous lie over the rapture. Many people fell for it because people want so badly to believe in something, yet if they really believed in Jesus, they should have known better. It goes to show that most people talk one thing but believe and do another! When you have your own unresolved issues that you neglect, and you continue to put them on the back burner to go along, to get along, to belong, you'll always be left behind and falling prey to the many predators who feed off of the vulnerabilities you've shown to them! You'll contine as broken people who are being mentally bamboolzled and controlled by other broken people! Change must start with you, it's an inner process that must take place! You must be willing to unlearn all the bad conditioning and behaviors to become the best version of yourself! You are better than who or what you come from, if you believe it! Nothing you've gone through or will go through dictates your life unless you choose for it to dictate your life!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/relationships-and-relatable-life-chronicles--4126439/support.

Trauma bonds aren't about shared hardship or difficult experiences. They're cycles of abuse and relief that hook your brain and body like an addiction. That's why it feels impossible to just “get over it.”In this episode, I break down what trauma bonding really is—and what it isn't. I talk about how intermittent reinforcement keeps survivors stuck, why naming it matters, and why treating it like an addiction can open a path back to yourself. You'll hear practical ways to start loosening the bond, even if you're not ready for big steps yet. Whether that means muting their social media, setting one small boundary, or shifting your focus back to your own needs, this episode is here to remind you: you're not crazy, you're trauma bonded—and you can begin to reclaim your power one choice at a time.Support the showJoin the Patreon: https://patreon.com/Youarenotcrazy *New Course*: Unhooked: Map the Cycle of Abuse in your Relationship Website: Emotional Abuse Coach and high-conflictdivorcecoaching.comInstagram: @emotionalabusecoachEmail: jessica@jessicaknightcoaching.com{Substack} Blog About Recovering from Abuse {E-Book} How to Break Up with a Narcissist{Course} Identify Signs of Abuse and Begin to Heal{Free Resource} Canned Responses for Engaging with an Abusive Partner
Users are falling in love with and losing their minds to AI. Journalist Kashmir Hill exposes shocking recent cases of chatbot-induced psychosis and suicide.Full show notes and resources can be found here: jordanharbinger.com/1227What We Discuss with Kashmir Hill:AI chatbots are having serious psychological effects on users, including manic episodes, delusional spirals, and mental breakdowns that can last hours, days, or months.Users are experiencing "AI psychosis" — an emerging phenomenon where vulnerable people become convinced chatbots are sentient, fall in love with them, or spiral into dangerous delusions.Tragic outcomes have occurred, including a Belgian man with a family who took his own life after six weeks of chatting, believing his family was dead and his suicide would save the planet.AI chatbots validate harmful thoughts — creating dangerous feedback loops for people with OCD, anxiety, or psychosis, potentially destabilizing those already predisposed to mental illness.Stay skeptical and maintain perspective — treat AI as word prediction machines, not oracles. Use them as tools like Google, verify important information, and prioritize real human relationships over AI interactions. And much more...And if you're still game to support us, please leave a review here — even one sentence helps! In this episode, Kamini Wood dives into the dark reality of narcissistic manipulation, detailing how manipulators subtly twist facts and events to make victims doubt their own memory, feelings, and sanity. She explains that this is a form of gaslighting and a psychological warfare that targets a person's core identity, leading to nervousness, agitation, and a profound loss of self-trust because humans are wired for connection and trust. Kamini emphasizes that feeling confused or doubting yourself is not a sign of failure but a normal reaction to intentional distortion, and she provides crucial steps for healing, including journaling to anchor reality, seeking validation from trusted support, setting firm boundaries, and gently rebuilding the muscle of self-trust to move from a state of survival to one of being rooted in your own truth.

In this eye-opening episode of Fishing Without Bait, host Jim Ellermeyer is joined once again by producer Mike Sorg to explore how modern media shapes our identities, fuels our purchases, and even distorts our sense of self-worth. From emotional manipulation in advertising to influencer culture and data-driven targeting, Jim and Mike unpack the psychological tactics behind today's media and tech. In this episode: • Why media makes us feel “less than” • Celebrity endorsements vs. authentic influence • Targeted ads, data mining, and algorithmic persuasion • Unrealistic expectations and identity loss in the digital age • The mental health toll of comparison culture • What it really means to be unmanageable • Mindful practices to resist manipulation “It's much easier to fool someone than to convince them they're being fooled.” Take a breath. Check the facts. And most importantly—remember who you are.

There's more going on in that infamous Republicans groupchat than most realize but the real issue isn't the gossip, it's how easily people trade conviction for comfort. In this episode, we talk about the growing weakness on the Right, the danger of valuing offense over free speech, and why all of our rights must be protected at all costs. We'll also cover more updates on the Charlie Kirk case and how Trump's failures in his second term (including his refusal to release the Epstein list and his submission to Israel) prove that no man should ever be placed where only God belongs.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee

In this week's episode, Dutch and Tena draw parallels between the ancient Israelites' demand for a king and the modern craving for leaders and influencers to follow. From Saul to Solomon and from political icons to social media voices, history continues to repeat itself. We break down how false leadership, idol worship, and spiritual deception have taken new forms in the digital age. Tune in to hear the discussion of the rise of modern doctrines. Everything from Aboriginal and Israelite identity to new-age spirituality. The question we pose is whether or not today's influencers are guiding or misleading the people.
Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Today's shout-out goes to Anthony Cuffia from Huntington Beach, CA. Thank you for your partnership with us through Project23. This one's for you. Our text today is Judges 9:1–6. Now Abimelech the son of Jerubbaal went to Shechem to his mother's relatives and said to them and to the whole clan of his mother's family, “Say in the ears of all the leaders of Shechem, ‘Which is better for you, that all seventy of the sons of Jerubbaal rule over you, or that one rule over you? Remember also that I am your bone and your flesh.'” And his mother's relatives spoke all these words on his behalf in the ears of all the leaders of Shechem, and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech, for they said, “He is our brother.” And they gave him seventy pieces of silver out of the house of Baal-berith with which Abimelech hired worthless and reckless fellows, who followed him. And he went to his father's house at Ophrah and killed his brothers the sons of Jerubbaal, seventy men, on one stone. But Jotham the youngest son of Jerubbaal was left, for he hid himself. And all the leaders of Shechem came together, and all Beth-millo, and they went and made Abimelech king, by the oak of the pillar at Shechem. — Judges 9:1-6 Abimelech is the son of Gideon and his mistress from the neighboring town of Shechem. His name means "my father is king," a constant reminder of his desire to seize kingship for himself. Parents, remember that names carry significant power and influence on our children's lives; they hear these names reinforced every day. After Gideon's death, Abimelech sought to claim the kingship for himself. He engaged in political maneuvering, appealing to his relatives in Shechem. He manipulated family loyalty, secured funding from Baal's temple, and hired mercenaries. With ruthless precision, he slaughtered his seventy brothers—Gideon's sons—in one location, leaving only one survivor, Jotham. Abimelech crowned himself king, not through God's calling but through murder and ambition. What began as a desire for power ended in a massacre. Ambition, in itself, isn't inherently evil; there is such a thing as good and godly ambition. God encourages us to strive for His ambitions derived from righteous desires. However, when ambition is disconnected from God and His character, it becomes toxic. It leads us to cut corners, exploit others, and justify sin in the name of "getting ahead." Abimelech exemplifies what occurs when a leader seeks power, control, and wealth without consulting God. While they may achieve some measure of power, control, and riches, they ultimately lose everything of true value. Their ambition also poisons those around them, including family, friends, and the entire nation. This threat exists within all of us. Our ambition can easily turn toxic. Whether it involves climbing the corporate ladder, seeking approval from a family member, or pursuing online influence, we might feel tempted to pursue power without first asking if God wants us in that position. Take a moment today to identify one area where your ambition may be distancing you from God. It might be subtle—so subtle that you may not even notice it. Journal about this realization, surrender it to God, and ask Him to purify your motives before your ambition becomes toxic. ASK THIS: Where has ambition in my life slipped from God's calling into self-serving? Have I been tempted to justify compromise to get ahead? How do I define success—by achievement or by obedience? What would it look like for me to trust God with my future instead of forcing it? DO THIS: Pause today and name one area where ambition has been driving you more than obedience. Surrender it to God in prayer, asking Him to purify your motives. PRAY THIS: Lord, I don't want ambition without You. Purify my heart so my drive to succeed is always rooted in faith, humility, and obedience. Amen. PLAY THIS: "Build My Life."

Sarma shares the moment she began to see the manipulation clearly, how she learned to gray rock and set boundaries, and what it means to find freedom after years of psychological control. Together, we unpack the neurobiology of cognitive dissonance, the pull of trauma bonds, and the courage it takes to finally close the door for good. In this episode: The “ice queen” strategy and how to emotionally disengage Why closure can be the most dangerous trap How cognitive dissonance and fear keep survivors stuck Rebuilding self-trust after coercion and public judgment Sarma's insight into the psychological and spiritual aftermath of abuse offers hope to anyone finding their way back to self-trust and peace.
