In this episode of the Journey Beyond Divorce Podcast, I'm speaking directly to the men who are walking through the intensity of high conflict divorce — the pressure, the triggers, the confusion, and the deep internal unraveling that often comes with it. Men in high conflict divorce are asked to hold an extraordinary amount: to respond instead of react, to stay grounded when provoked, and to lead even when everything around them feels uncertain. And while I coach men through these challenges every single day, I also know that some truths land more powerfully when they come from another man who embodies the discipline, steadiness, and intentional leadership required to rise during divorce. That's why I invited Michael Holt, founder of the international Savage & Saint Collective, to join me for this conversation. Michael has dedicated his life to helping men reclaim emotional sovereignty, cultivate presence, and embody a form of masculine leadership that is rooted in clarity rather than chaos. His work blends meditation, martial arts, psychology, holistic health, and serious inner discipline — and it aligns deeply with what I teach men navigating high conflict divorce: that the real power lies not in controlling others, but in mastering yourself. Michael and I explore the patterns that keep men stuck in reactivity during divorce and the internal shifts required to break those cycles. We talk about the cost of abandoning your center, how quickly men give away their power when triggered, and what it takes to stay grounded when you feel attacked, misunderstood, or overwhelmed. Michael offers a male perspective on strength that doesn't rely on force, suppression, or avoidance, but instead comes from presence, vitality, and self-awareness — qualities that become essential when the stakes are high and the conflict feels relentless. Together, we dig into the difference between reactive masculinity and embodied leadership, and why men who learn to regulate their nervous system and stay anchored in who they are gain far more influence — not just in their divorce, but in their lives, relationships, and fatherhood. We discuss how men can cultivate discipline, stability, and clarity even in the middle of legal battles, emotional turmoil, and the dismantling of a marriage. This is the kind of conversation that gives men direction, grounding, and a roadmap for showing up as the man they want to be, not the man the conflict tries to turn them into. Michael Holt is a powerful example of what it looks like to live the work rather than talk about it. His Savage & Saint Collective supports men around the world in strengthening their inner foundation so they can show up with integrity, courage, and calm — exactly what is needed in high conflict divorce. If you're a man navigating divorce and you've been searching for guidance from someone who truly understands the internal journey you're on, this episode will offer the clarity and steadiness you've been craving. This is about reclaiming yourself, rebuilding your center, and stepping into the kind of leadership that can change the trajectory of your life. Michael Holt is a holistic health expert, masculine vitality specialist, and martial artist whose work sits at the intersection of holistic health, meditation, and awakened masculine leadership. As the founder of the internationally renowned "Savage & Saint Collective", Michael serves elite performers in the cultivation of vitality, depth of consciousness, and performance excellence. His extensive background in meditation, martial arts, western psychology, core shamanism, holistic health, and exercise science comes together to form a unique approach that is trusted by top executives, founders, athletes, artists, and entertainers around the world. As I got deeper into Michael's work, I was struck by how naturally it aligns with a truth I've come to know in my own life:The masculine path requires our capacity to cultivate range and develop fluency in complementary opposing qualities, in Michael's terms, the Savage and the Saint...Simply put, the Savage is the part of us that is primal, instinctual, disciplined, relentless, and willing to meet and move through challenge. The Saint is the part of us that is awake, conscious, devoted, and anchored in truth, love, and a deep acceptance of each moment. In his work, Michael does not teach men to choose one or the other. He teaches them to integrate both, to train the body and sharpen the mind, to soften the heart and expand awareness, so a man can govern himself fully and live with clarity, direction, and depth. In his own life, he has forged a path that unmistakably reflects the depth of this integration. From decades of martial arts, qigong, and meditative practice, to years of guiding men through embodiment, discipline, and peak performance, Michael has developed a unique framework that helps men become dangerous and safe, powerful and compassionate, structured and spiritually awake. In this high-paced conversation between the two of us, we explore: The defining traits of the Savage and the Saint What it means to cultivate both the Savage and the Saint within oneselfWhy the biggest fear for many high performers is simply letting the sword down Why physical mastery is inseparable from spiritual developmentHow discipline can eventually be transformed into a way of devotion that becomes effortlessThe common misconceptions about what meditation actually is The real value of meditation and what it can teach usThe importance of emotional maintenance and the cost of letting emotional backlog accumulate How to build masculine vitality and strengthen your virility as a manThis was a potent and energizing conversation with a man who has spent countless hours honing his craft and dedicating himself to supporting men in becoming more integrated, grounded, and fully expressed in their masculine essence. If you're a man seeking more masculine range, vitality, & inner peace, I trust this episode will land deeply.—Connect with Alex Lehmann:
I sat down with Oliver Mann — 30+ years deep in the journaling world, a keeper of stories, a guide for the brave — to explore the REAL reason journaling works.Spoiler: it's not the pen. It's not the page. It's YOU. Your courage. Your SELF-honesty. Your willingness to stop hiding from your own reflection. This conversation is an initiation into radical authenticity — the kind that doesn't perform, doesn't pretend, doesn't negotiate its OWN truth. We go into masculine + feminine energies, the myth of “doing it right,” the lies judgment tells us, + the liberation that comes from writing what you're REALLY thinking. If you're ready to stop performing + start becoming, this episode is your invitation to write yourSELF free. Write your truth. OWN your truth. Become the one who transforms your OWN life — word by word, breath by breath, page by page.SOME WORDS ARE GIFTS:Journaling is a TOOL — but YOU are the transformation.Authenticity requires dropping judgment, masks, + performance.Self-awareness means nothing without action to match it.Masculine + feminine energies are FLUID — not fixed — and learning your inner rhythm creates inner harmony.Your humanity is not a flaw… It's the curriculum.⭐️YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS: Please: Subscribe + leave 5⭐️Star rating +review HEREEnjoy! xRxFIND ME ON:️INSTAGRAMSUBSTACKYOUTUBEXTHREADSFIND OLIVER ON:IGWEBOLIVER'S 5-DAY WRITING CHALLENGE: https://www.shadowjournaling.com/new-story-challengeCHECK OUT: My Beautiful Guided + Illustrated Journal YOU ARE THE PATH: https://www.roxannesaffaie.com/journal My Upcoming Self-Directed Journaling Webinar: https://roxannesaffaie.myflodesk.com/webinarFREE RESOURCES:

What happens when a lifelong skeptic, shaped by strict Catholic schooling and a career rooted in scientific thinking, steps into the world of expanded states of consciousness? In this episode, transformational guide Michael Tierno shares his unexpected path from rationalist to seeker, and how psychedelic experiences—particularly ayahuasca—opened him to a deeper sense of compassion, connection, and emotional integrity.Together, we explore how expanded states can support men in softening old defenses, interrupting long-held patterns, and reconnecting with parts of themselves they've been taught to push away. Michael also speaks to his work with Men of Integrity, a community and retreat experience designed to help men reclaim responsibility, vulnerability, and purpose within a supportive brotherhood. We get into:• How psychedelic journeys can shift men's emotional landscapes• The importance of safe containers, skilled guides, and integration• Why vulnerability among men still feels dangerous—and how to change that• The relationship between spirituality, science, and meaning-making• What real transformation looks like inside men's communitiesWhether you're curious about psychedelics, men's work, or the ways compassion and connection can reshape a man's life, this conversation offers a grounded and thoughtful entry point.Connect with Michael:michaeltiernoguide.comMen of Integrity: moi.communityHeart Sanctuary Retreats: heartsanctuaryretreats.comConnect with Travis:travisstock.comInstagram: @travers03Support the mission on Patreon: patreon.com/thenewmasculine
For years, I lived as the breadwinner strong, independent, and operating mostly in my masculine energy even while teachingand embodying the feminine. In this episode, I explore how parts of us can still put up walls of independence and strength when it comes to the masculine, blocking the natural support they're here to offer.Using the metaphor of flowers in a vase, I share how thefeminine and masculine need each other, and how, on that cliff in Mexico, I felt the masculine energy breaking through my walls, allowing me to fully step into my power as a feminine goddess. If you're ready to stop emasculating men, release thearmour of doubt, and trust the masculine, this episode is for you.
People are naturally drawn to you when you have it, just like gravity pulls everything to the ground. In this episode, I break down the physics of masculine gravity. I explain how presence works like gravity—it doesn't push, it pulls. I share how men can develop this magnetic force in themselves to command attention and respect without trying. By the end, you'll understand how to be naturally powerful and present. Show Notes: [02:49]#1 Masculine gravity is silent but felt. [07:16]#2 Gravity itself organizes everything around it. Episode #1063 In this episode, we revisit a raw and honest conversation about what happens when masculine and feminine energies get out of sync in a relationship. This isn't about old-school gender roles. It's about energy, leadership, trust, and polarity — and what happens when those things go missing. Doug and Coach Chris unpack why so many men are stuck trying to be the "nice guy" and how that often leaves their partner feeling more like a caretaker than a lover. They dive into what women actually want: leadership, decisiveness, and safety. Most men have stepped back from this role without realizing it. They talk through what it looks like to lead from the heart, how to rebuild polarity, and small moves that shift the energy fast. If your relationship feels flat or disconnected, this conversation will hit home. Want to learn how to lead without trying to fix everything? In the first episode of this series, Lisa shares her journey from skepticism to a deep spiritual awakening that transformed every part of her life. Rooted in childhood trauma and years of using food for comfort, Lisa's story unfolds into one of healing, discipline, and self-trust; culminating in a five-hour morning ritual fueled not by obligation, but genuine inspiration. She bridges science and spirituality to explore what it means to be “a spiritual being made of energy,” weaving in lessons from meditation retreats, loss, and her evolution as a coach. Topics Include:Spiritual Transformation and HealingTrauma, Loss, and Emotional CopingIntegration of Masculine and Feminine Energy Practical Pathways to Transformation[0:32] Lisa introduces this new episode as the first installment of a multi-part series. She explains that the topic grew too large for a single episode, leading to a series that could extend to four, five, six, or more parts. [04:29] Lisa describes her current state as "phenomenal," attributing it to a new, extensive morning routine and a profound spiritual awakening. This transformation was not sudden but the culmination of a lifelong journey of healing and personal development, which began with her birth in 1993. Lisa discusses significant personal traumas like how the death of her younger sister when she was five caused her to disconnect from spirituality, which was a deeper layer to her using food to cope. Lisa's spiritual awakening began in 2016 during a guided meditation where she connected with her "higher self" and had a profound realization that her past struggles with weight were a form of self-protection. Lisa talks about how father's death in 2018 and receiving a message from him through Caroline Lee Dewey accelerated her spiritual development, marking a clear "before and after" in her life. [33:54] Lisa discusses how her move from New York to California helped her to begin the balance of her masculine and feminine energies and become more spiritual. Lisa explains how her journey to become a yoga instructor helped on this journey to connect the two and how this journey has helped her in her move back to New York where she learned through her ancestry work is part of her heritage.[1:01:39] Lisa talks about how her epic morning ritual can last up to six hours. A cornerstone of this routine is meditation, which she describes as a non-negotiable practice for rewiring the brain. Lisa acknowledges that the initial experience can be extremely uncomfortable and emphasizes that consistent practice transformed it into a deeply grounding and essential experience. Lisa describes that the transformation went from intolerable to a cherished practice after months of daily effort. She advises that integrating such practices into a busy life is possible through intentional time management, such as waking up earlier and reducing time on distractions, starting with small, manageable steps. *The views of podcast guests do not necessarily reflect the views and beliefs of Lisa Schlosberg or Out of the Cave, LLC.Purchase the OOTC book of 50 Journal PromptsLeave Questions and Feedback for Lisa via OOTC Pod Feedback Form Email Lisa: lisa@lisaschlosberg.comOut of the Cave Merch - For 10% off use code SCHLOS10Lisa's Socials: Instagram Facebook YouTubeEmbracing Our Spiritual Journey: Insights on Morning Rituals and Self-Discovery

In this episode, Charles and Dan unpack chapters four, five, and six of The Masculine in Relationship — and explore why so many men fall into the trap of becoming either strong-but-destructive or nice-but-ineffective. They dig into what it actually takes to embody the rare third option: a strong good man who leads with clarity, steadiness, emotional presence, and purpose. The conversation moves through the core foundations of masculine development: how purpose shapes direction, why reactivity erodes trust, what emotional safety really requires, and how structure frees the feminine to relax rather than brace. Charles and Dan get personal about their own patterns, the work men often avoid, and the uncomfortable moments that reveal whether you're reacting from old wounds or responding from grounded awareness. If you've ever wondered why certain dynamics repeat in your relationships — or what women are actually looking for when they say they want a man who “can lead” — this episode gives you the clarity, context, and challenge you need to step into a more integrated masculine expression.Support the show

Dan DeSena is a transformational guide helping men achieve authentic growth. I asked Dan about his approach to teaching men about self-pleasure, sexual health, and emotional resilience. We spoke of the sacredness of sex as a spiritual practice, our personal experiences with energy-based orgasms. Dan expanded on his journey from growing up in a religious family with restrictive views on sexuality to finding sacred sexuality work with John Wineland, which helped him integrate his masculinity and leadership qualities. He's learned to embrace his "darkness" and dominant energy while keeping his heart open, understanding that conscious women sense a man's true strength and authenticity. Dan emphasized that authentic leadership and dominance are not toxic when approached with love and awareness, and he now helps men navigate these aspects of their sexuality while maintaining emotional connection. Dan emphasized the importance of presence and conscious awareness during sexual experience, explaining how many men are trained to feel shame or anxiety about self-pleasure from a young age, leading to negative patterns in their sexual experiences. Dan shared his own journey of retraining his nervous system to practice self-pleasure without relying on fantasy or porn, and he advised men to focus on subtle pleasure and to make conscious choices about when to ejaculate. He also discussed how learning to be present during self-pleasure can improve sexual experiences with partners, as women often desire emotional connection and presence rather than just physical performance. Dan shared about the importance of a safe space for men to talk about sex and being honest with partners about sexual challenges while committing to personal growth and healing. Dan shared his own experience of ending a long-term relationship due to incompatible paths in addressing sexual issues, but stressed that honesty and personal work are crucial steps forward. Dan and I discussed our personal journeys of self-love and sexual awakening, embracing our vulnerability, authenticity, presence and developing self-compassion. I shared my experience personally and with clients- the interconnectedness of a fulfilling sex life with overall relationship satisfaction and the ripple effect of these qualities into other life areas. We both expressed a deep longing for a life where every interaction is infused with sacredness and love! As we discussed the sacredness of sex and the importance of treating it as a spiritual practice, Dan shared his experiences with cultivating sexual energy and having full-body orgasms, the concept of orgasm beyond ejaculation, and discussing how men can learn to control and direct their sexual energy. It was so fun to explore hypothetical scenarios and share personal stories. On After The Show on Patreon, Dan revealed that his mother gave him a sex education talk when he was 10 years old, after he expressed admiration for Michael Jackson's song "Billie Jean." We danced and enjoyed our full self-expression and even got a taste of Dan demonstrating a full body orgasm on After the Show- a first! Dan explained the concept of a full-body orgasm, describing how to move energy through the body during sexual experiences. They agreed that presence and awareness are key to enjoying these experiences without losing connection with a partner. Send us a textThe "Masculine" Men Who Want to Repeal the 19th Amendment and make sure women can't vote... Are Effeminate. The debate around the 19th Amendment has exploded, with many so-called conservative Christians arguing that women should not be allowed to vote. But what if their "masculine" solution is actually rooted in a hatred of masculine responsibility, and the very same sin that Adam committed toward Eve?In this video, I break down the profound error at the heart of the "no women voting" movement. We'll explore why men who demand authority while refusing to take responsibility for the sins of the women they are responsible for are not masculine—they are effeminate. The solution isn't more effeminacy and feminism though more hatred of true femininity. The solution is gladly accepting sacrificial responsibility. You will learn:* Why the secular "everyone votes" model is flawed.* Why the reactionary "only men vote" model is ALSO unbiblical.* The Biblical (and forgotten) model of the "household vote."* How to identify the sin of hatred of responsibility and why it's so dangerous.Support the showSupport the Show! https://www.patreon.com/sparenoarrowsCheck out the video Podcast: https://www.youtube.com/@sparenoarrowsConnect with me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/spare_no_arrows/Spare no Arrows on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/show/6CqhvtMWRItkoiv8ZrJ6zVSpare no Arrows on Apple Podcast https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/spare-no-arrows/id1528869516
