Thokoza, with the passing and burial of Vusamazulu Credo Mutwa, we need to take the time to reflect on their legacy, what they stood for and what it means for the future of Africa. Dr Mkhize has recorded a blog post in which he explains the significance of going back to our African cultural practices. That it is about spiritual liberation - not obligation.

Thokoza, You cannot heal someone who is carrying the incorrect surname. And you can correct the surname without knowledge of their history and the decisions taken their mother and father as well as their grandparents. This is because there are processes which need to be fulfilled for you to be able to use your father's surname.
