Ten years ago, Steve Clayton got one of the coolest job titles in tech when he became Chief Storyteller at Microsoft. His passion for storytelling, dating back to his childhood in Liverpool, led him through an unlikely series of events that ended up in Seattle, helping to refresh the image of a tech giant.

At 27, Lori Thicke moved to Paris with one goal in mind: to write the great Canadian novel. But life had other plans in store for her, and the novel was put on hold. Instead, Lori founded a global transition business, Lexcelera, and after crossing paths with doctors without borders, went on to creating the world's biggest translation NGO. At translators without borders, Lori has done it all: set behind a computer screen for hours on end, traveled to Kenya to work with translators and interpreters in the field, and grown an initial small network of volunteers to over 30,000 in 180 different countries. All for her love for and believe in the power of language.

Like many of us, when Paula Kennedy was just fresh out of college, she took an entry level job for a contact center. Then she climbed through the ranks of an organization with over 200,000 employees to become the vice president at Concentrix. Besides having won multiple awards, Paula is a champion for diversity, a mentor for women, and a disruptor in our industry. Now, she has created Solv, a new platform that allows brands to outsource their customer support to gig workers all over the world. Even before the current health crisis turned the world upside down, Paula was a champion for remote work. After all, Paula Kennedy has cracked a code for life work balance. Now, she wants everyone else to be able to do the same.
