"Okay so what do we have here now we start with this constellation of shapes right off the center of the piece and its a bunch of shapes that are kept together in an almost like shape which is above this background that goes from this hot to these cold colors starting from the upper right corner with this really nice red moving from reds to blues and eventually to the bottom left corner where its variating from black and white to some extent going from these colors and this pattern to this different black white black white pattern is a little jarring a little intriguing it definitely is important in this piece it definitely serves some function not sure why but because of that it really makes me more interested in this piece and you know makes me look at it for another couple of second before i end up diverting my attention but nonetheless in those seconds i can recognize that this is something that has been finished and it invokes something who knows what that thing is besides something" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. "okay so what do we have here now theres nothing wrong with failing at making something compelling you know i look at this piece and there's alot of weird shapes but there's nothing that hasn't been already done or any feelings or any aesthetics that i really wanted to push or really get into in this piece it was really all about just doing you know not everything needs to be a masterpiece and you know sometimes you just need to look at some awkward shapes and appreciate the dots one thing i do fancy in this piece is the rectangular shapes stacked into a pyramid very nicely near the top of the page that and the dots is just enough for me to look at this and think yeah i finished it and now it exists forever or forever enough and really that's enough for me and it should be enough for everyone cause what do you need except for some shapes paper some pen and that's it" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. "okay so what do we have here now right off the bat the first thing i notice is that whatever this figure is it has quite the segmented body or at least the protrusions the bumps make it make me think that it is segmented and aside from that its hard to deny that whatever it is we're either zoomed in real close or its real big because only half of its body is visible and it takes up so much of the paper aside from half of this figures body the rest of this piece is taken over by extended limbs of different sizes and variations coming out of different angles and the colors that you know coincide between the spaces of the limbs really pleases my eyes aesthetically the hot colors aren't touching the cool ones and the way things are placed it really makes it all feel like whatever is happening well so be it" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. " okay so what do we have here now there's four distinct but separate and rather weird or oddly shaped shapes with weird protrusions-y shapes one on each side of the paper and they are split by this blue block of color the way that the blue sort of envelopes the space that's not the figure really gives it this sense of a river the way a river cuts through land and the greens different shades and the different shades of the green really reinforce this idea after the green has made its way this really does give me the idea or is reminiscent of a map that is zoomed way out and is depicting four separate continents or maybe a little bit more zoomed in and its four islands all i know is i wouldn't really be too keen to us this map door any sort of navigation" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. "okay so what do we have here now its not often that i say this but this is without a doubt one of my favorite pieces to look at a figure appears with seemingly one big bold eye one that's bloodshot one that is accompanied with pointy teeth the teeth and the color of the eye just gives you this feeling that whatever it is its not here to do you any favors in fact probably the opposite now this figure is layed on top of some nice and soft water colors once it dried up it really gives this nice pastelly lighter more prayerful tint which really plays on the red and the white really well now any reason to have dots is probably a good one and when it comes along with these lines that really seem to be exploding off of this figure it really works really well there's definitely something to be said about having plenty of color in the piece but choosing to still have some white and how having that purposeful decision really really brings about some worthwhile outcomes" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. "okay so what do we have here now starting at the top of the piece you have what looks like the beginnings of a cloudy sky one of those cloudy skies where the clouds are blue and the sky is pink maybe the sun rose or is setting and the colors just are in that one tint where things just seem like cotton candy and from the top to then bottom different switches of colors pink goes into the green and then what could be assumed as you know brown dirt but right about then is where things take a slight turn where the original idea is side stepped ad instead almost in a show of revolt against the previous idea i drew lines cutting the scene piercing from the bottom right corner till the page is filled with these lines and very quickly this piece became something completely different you just never really know where things can end up because at a moments notice you can just decide and in that decision things can change" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. "okay so what do we have here now i always try to try and i really wanted to just play with the water colours i hadn't had much experience with them even now not much to say but i just wanted to see where things could go and i wanted to see what the colors would look like on the paper next to each other and in some cases on top of each other and mix with each other and you know just really experiment i obviously need to add some dots because my affinity for dots never stops but these were a tad bit different in so far as they come across a little bit more as dashes but there very close to dots dashes and dots are on the same branch from the same tree in general while the result may have not of been a wonderful piece it was definitely fun a good experiment and you know its always worthwhile to change the regular way that you usually involve yourself in a task the way you usually interact with whats going on and you know it can really help you change your perspective or reorient" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. " okay so what do we have here now it starts with this center piece this predominant circle right smack in the middle or as close to the middle as you could possibly get by eyeballing it we have this symbol it almost look knightly my first inclings bring me to the idea that this is some sort of emblem from the time when people really needed emblems and things to stamp with or to certify that this was approved or received or is being sent by some sort of majesty or someone important enough to have an emblem to stamp now as the piece progresses i move to the background and im more struck by the idea of a mosaic window or the type of window you would see at a temple or some place of worship just because thats what i associate mosaic windows with but thats what my brain is bringing to the forefront as we speak" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. " okay so what do we have here now this isn't a particularly spectacular piece in fact i would go as far as saying its the opposite its a very boring piece its got a lot inorganic awkward ill placed shapes but i think in general the sentiment of the piece is just awkward *gibberish* theres very little for me to appreciate about this piece but there is something i don't know why im sure theres some association in my brain that is being made up but i just love dots and just a bunch of dots all over the place orange is also a really cool addition because dude people trash orange all the time but thats only because like it gets a bad wrap everybody always using it for safety cones and shit and i get it its useful but dude quit talking down on orange because you know its kinda cool in fact its not its a little hot" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. “okay so what do we have here now when you think of something when you have an idea you often create and conjure some idea of that thing in your head if your thinking of a dog in your mind you procure an image of some four legged animal kinda cute little aggressive with how much attention it wants when you think of an island you think of a land mass covered by water on all four sides so what is a tree well a tree is a body of mass that exits the ground vertically first thinly before expanding into a flurry of off shouts with green and browns being over lapped by water dripping from the bottom to the floor now this is a tree but is this a tree” Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. "okay so what do we have here now this piece really inhibits an entire mood its a rather lonesome mood but one nonetheless you have a single subject that is reaching lurching towards this area that is just beyond bu for as close as it is it is hidden and removed from the sight of the subject which really adds the lonesome aesthetic as the subject is surrounded by an entire abyss of black there is nothing else in sight aside from what the subject is tethered to and it seems that this tethering is the only thing prohibiting it from reaching this area that it so desperately is just pushing towards the entire being seems to be stretched and a being that is quite basic really the only reason it qualifies as being a being is because it has an eye it has some sort of perspective and that really is this piece that perspective is the piece that's the mood" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. "okay so what do we have here now without a doubt my first instinct tell me that this is an alien something extra terrestrial something outside of our earthly terrain albeit it is very abstract and none of the shape are really together but me you and you both know they are now one of the weirder parts about this piece is the background which i'm not even sure what i was trying to go for in retrospect it sort of looks like your looking at this alien through a broken mirror or if it was somehow a shadow not a shadow or if there was somehow a bug on the spotlight and uhm aside from that i can really appreciate the colors and the gray that i added that really bring it all together all of these nice bright colorful colors some colors that you know i usually don't use a lot of these are not in my regular rotation so it was definitely a breath of fresh air even though there's no air in space" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. “okay so what do we have here now albeit there’s a lot of weird inorganic shapes and a lot of things that stretch from one side to the other side in ways that you wouldn’t often see in anything aside from art but what i think is the most what adds the most value to this piece has nothing to do with the shapes it has everything to do with the choice that i made very early on to have this sort of color wave of dots in the background some areas are you know surrounding certain shapes in light blue dots and then there’s purple dots and there’s a sort of transition between the purples and the blues and what this does is it adds a weird effect because the rest of the shapes are all very bold colors but red surrounded by light blue is a little bit different then red surrounded by purple and so if you look at this piece for long enough you tend to notice that there’s this sort of difference in the reds in different places albeit its the same red its without a doubt the aspect i find easiest to appreciate” Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) https://lnkd.in/dzH958b & 2.) https://discord.gg/GQXC3A3 “Daily Doodle Dose” provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. "Okay so what do we have here now right from the onset i can be completely upfront with my affinity for this underwater aesthetic in this piece i definitely think that those green slivers that crawl from the bottom of the sheet all the way to the top resembles the type of underwater grass that you would encounter deep on the ocean floor and albeit the shapes and the constructs are all very basic and for the most part without detail i think its hard to deny this feeling of being deep underwater the way the way the blue dots contrast with the circular thin circles gives the water a sort of oxygenated feel it give it an activity which really helps these really basic shapes stand out and have a little bit more depth to them because if theres something behind it and theres something in front of something behind or if theres things layered ontop of each other its gives it a sort of it gives it a extra dimension" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) www.reddit.com/r/Yaughdeady & 2.) discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. "Okay so what do we have here now for such a simple piece sometimes the simplest explanations are more than worthwhile and while this piece isnt too complex the shapes are pretty straight forward i feel like there is something that could be said about it and what that would be is a clear distinction between whats inside of this weird polygon and what is presented to you in the background the shape of the polygon is extremely like a static tv its got these dots in it and it kind of resembles that like feeling you get when you watch tv that has no connection and the static is just its just running its just this white noise and then the background and even the orange horizon or the orange block at the top it all acts as this very bold consistent shapes and colors and that plays heavily against what is seen within the static it plays its a good juxtaposition to the little dots and changing colors" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) www.reddit.com/r/Yaughdeady & 2.) discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. "Okay so what do we have here now with this one in particular i definitely get the sense that the things seem to be getting bigger from this little this you know center left point and expanding from there after which i do like im very keen on those types of aesthetics but something that im particularly interested in is how in this piece in particular instead of having the background be full of dots all of the shapes were full of dots and the background stayed white and i definitely think that the different colors did add some dynamic effects or dynamacy to the piece but the most interesting was yknow kind of flipping my usual tendencies on there head and leaving the background completely blank does give some sort of emphasis to the shapes that i can really get behind or i can get interested in long enough to keep looking" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) www.reddit.com/r/Yaughdeady & 2.) discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. "Okay so what do we have here now its always interesting to go down the route of picking a shape in your head so just thinking of a random shape chose a polygon for all i care and toss a couple of those bad boys and girls onto a sheet and once you have all these shapes kinda thrown all over the place you can partition the paper into different sections you know group these guys together maybe because there all small or group all of these because there all big or maybe because there's big and small you can group that into this corner and once your done with that you know that little beginning aspect you can uhh color code the sections and the areas have each little thing be kind of like a little territory of color pallet and in this case you know i only needed three colors the orange the heat you got the black that dark abyss and you got the blue which is a very nice you know middle ground between the heat and the black but nonetheless this is a piece and that's my peace." "Okay so what do we have here now its always nice to have a break from having a piece look back at you when you look at it and that's what this piece is i look at it and i definitely think that there is nothing in this piece that could express consciousness we have this sort of black and red on the top and the bottom and what i think is sort of like how space when you look at certain things black holes or the sun and like the way that space is stretched and pulled and the way things are warped by things that are very dense or powerful and i think that's whats happening in this piece the black and the red have this very strong density there very bold and everything else sort of being pulled or pushed or tightly packed within these things this piece is almost having an active fight between the top and the bottom where things are getting pushed and pulled between these two polarities you have the north and south pole on this piece and everything else is just a result of the push and pull and the forces between these two things" Join the Sub Reddit and Discord to get on the inside! 1.) www.reddit.com/r/Yaughdeady & 2.) discord.gg/GQXC3A3 "Daily Doodle Dose" provides a look into the progression of an artist and artworks, whilst the artist commentates providing insight and personal interpretations. Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? At the very start, i do just at random put these circles on the paper. They later become things that i end up navigating around so they kinda did play a part but its always fun to do things that mess with yourself in the future. I just seem to just always get this impression, a similar impression, whenever i do a singular long line. I drag this line to fill up a whole page with a single line, i always get this impression, the end result looks like a very zoomed in cell. If this was a alien of piece of skin and you zoomed in, this is what would appear. That's my take away when i'm looking at this, This happens whenever i do a long line, it always comes off to me looking like a cellular structure. You know mitochondria is the power house of the cell.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? Now let me just tell you something. Let me just tell you a secret, a lot of my sketches i don't like. That's totally fine, i love that i suck sometimes a lot of times maybe. There's this piece, just feels like noise. I don't know why but you have this little polygon in the very center, its like a focal point of the entire, everything expands from this little polygon. The only thing that extends from this polygon is these; jagged lines, these nonsensical, no meaning, there's no purpose. Everything just doesn't make sense but its expanding from this polygon. It all just feels like noise, all that this polygon is doing is producing this ripple of noise. I really like layering things on top of each other. If there's like this expansion, its really nice to add on top of it, different levels of things, expanding from the focal point. I think it adds something to this even though i don't like this piece there's something to be said about it and this is what i have to say.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? Now usually or more often the not, i do want to draw a specific thing or i'm trying to go for a specific experience. I want to do some thing. It's really important that when you do, you really take your foot off the gas because sometimes you just need a space where you can make mistakes, draw squiggly lines, and be messy. Sometimes doing these type of things lead you to some very intriguing places. You know often the things that you wouldn't expect take you to unexpected places. Who would of thought? I think that's super important, just chill when you want to doodle, just do whatever. You don't always have to stress out about making something that is good because sometimes something bad is just as good.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, Okay so what do we have here? Now its always really important to note, that you only have so much real estate in terms of space on a piece of paper or whatever medium you chose to use. You could have as much space as a wall; You could have as much space as a sticky note. You really always have to consider that once you start creating a shape the larger the shape, in terms of how much real estate it takes up is super important, the larger it is the better it has to be. In due part because it becomes a larger part of the entire thing as a whole. When i was drawing this the eye, what i now interpret as an eye, it was a super huge risk to take because if it doesn't come out good the you just took up a lot of area. When i look at this i think i'm pretty glad i took the risk even if it kinda looks pretty wonky and its all pretty nonsensical. In taking the risk i definitely come away with a better understanding of how large things should be in relation to the space of the medium.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? Now we got this little drippy droppy outline. This little drip drip coming off the side. It surely gives the piece a little more pull in a direction. At any rate, the orange was definitely a bold move. In general orange is kind of like a cautionary color for like safety cones and all of that stuff. You have to be pretty cautious with using orange because its so cautious. I think that played really well with the black bold outline.Whilst I continue to stare at this piece and its development i am so struck by this collection of circles in the body of this, drip drop drippity drip, thing. This thing is encapsulating or holding together all of the activity in this little shield that it has on its front. It could be an apron of the universe for all we know. It is all of it. The little dots and the big dots definitely give it a universe vibe because the way thing kind of are super far and big. There are some spooks to be found in this piece, this piece is not spook-less.
The Daily Doodle Dose : Does it feel? Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? Now this definitely gives me worm-ish vibes maybe because the body of this thing, the silhouette all in general, is very worm-ish, very squirmy. You got like a little utility belt you throw right on top of this little worm. All in all, it definitely has a much sadder aesthetic. It's not a very silly piece and i'm pretty sure the background definitely reinforces that. This is a pretty lonely piece, there's only one thing about this piece, everything else is pretty boring. It comes off as a pretty completed piece and i'm pretty happy with how it came out. I wonder what type of character this would actually turn into if it was further developed. What could you squeeze out of this single picture? A little worm with a utility belt and it fights crime but its really sad because life isn't the way it wants it to be. It's a worm that has these super powers so how could it not fight crime.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? Okay so this is a very simple piece. It's very to the point; there's this spiral, there's this face, and its very clear what emotion is portrayed here. It's a sad face, its okay for sad faces to exist. They often do but what i am more interested in is the activity. The way things come from that point, that sad face, how things spread apart from it, how things come off of it. There's these squiggly lines and the colors change with the intensity. There's energy coming off of this sadness, like the negativity of this face is projecting in all directions. I'm not sure i did the best job at creating depth but i really do like the activity and this piece is just super simple. I always come back to spirals, just because there so fun, its really cool to just do little circles and circles and circles. There's just something about when i'm not sure exactly what to start doing and i just want to do. Spirals are super good, super reliable to start then boom you expand you grow from that single point.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? Now without a doubt, this is a pretty boring piece. I think that i didn't really go anywhere new. I didn't really do anything that i wasn't already kinda comfortable with. Which is okay, you know there's always going to be the song about the same thing. Sometimes you find yourself in a groove. When i look at this piece, i don't think i had a specific direction or any specific thing that i wanted to put down. I think that's why this piece look so without depth to me. It's really just shapes but maybe you guys will interpret this differently. To me there's very little and you can kinda see that i hard time in placing where i should even put anything. There was a lot of hesitation in this piece and i think you can see that when i'm drawing it
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? Now i think this entire piece is indicative of how much value the journey has as opposed to the actual finale. I start with these concentric circles that ripple away from this, little center, little space. Where it has a big heart, two little tiny hearts, everything seems to be rippling away and expanding from this little center. There is definitely a lot here. You guys know that i'm super into things coming from one point and expanding from there after. This is where things take a slight turn, a deviation from the norm. I would usually try to make these concentric circles more and more active. What ended up happening is, i cut open a pen i and i poured the insides onto the paper. It created this explosion of dark splatter from this center that use to be a heart into this black abyss. One that is in a sharp rapid manner expanding, i proceed to tear the paper in half. The route that i probably would have gone down was completely shifted. Having taken a sharp left really made this piece super interesting in the journey albeit the finale was a pretty lack luster piece in general. It definitely provided value in other ways.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? Now obviously, very clearly, it comes off very spidery. I'm not sure if it has the right amount of legs or perfect amount of eyes but there's a definitely a feeling that this thing is crawling somewhere that i don't want it to be. I spent a little bit of time or the majority time coloring as opposed to doing any creation of lines. You know sometimes that's okay. This is definitely a direction that i'm really interested in moving into, making shapes and doing things with not clearly defined lines. I've gotten into a little habit of making really specific designated spaces and bold lines. You can really create different activity when you do these types of lines that are not so clearly defined. Sometimes its a bunch of little lines that make up a bigger line and it all comes together really nicely to create a total amount of activity. It's just really nice to do something different. I think i'm going to keep going in a direction like this. I'm going to keep trying to y'know figure out a way to incorporate this into a doodle or so.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? Now one of my favorite things to do is to have a lot of activity being engulfed by a bunch of inactivity. When i section off pieces of the paper I, kind of in a way, determine which areas are going to be active. Which areas are going to have things going on. The rest is going to be like this thing that engulfs this activity. This slow ingestion of all that is moving. I really like the way it came out in this particular picture, in this particular piece. There's always a special place in my heart for a but load of dots. I just love dots, I feel like you can always add dots. I just love dots this is my dot era. Yaughdeady this is my dot era.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? Right off the bat, i seriously get the sensation of arachnid that my brain comes up with for comparison. The way that the circles inside the head are like eyes makes it feels like this is somehow related to spiders. It's really not, something about this monster, i really like the direction this doodle went. If you guys have seen some of the other stuff i have done. Then you'd know i've been really into bold shapes, ad really defined spaces. This little monster, this little creature, really broke that for me. Insofar as its a bunch of lines, the shapes are still there but there more fuzzy. It's more about everything coming together, i did seriously like the different direction. Moving away from really bold shapes really gives me a different sensation. I think its something i wanna explore more of and soon.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, so what do have here? Now from the very start, you know, i never really know whats going to happen. The end result of this is something that i think is just seriously beautiful. Often its the collection of these weird, oddly shaped, things that when all together it makes something that is clearly concise and put together. Even though everything really isn't, i just think that i'm never exactly sure what things are but there's definitely a thing in this paper. It's a thing you kinda create in your mind because you know, there's no teeth there's no eyes, its just shapes. You create this thing, you build this connection, with these shapes put together in a certain way that becomes a thing in you mind. In reality; i didn't draw a mouth, there's no teeth, there's no tongue, if you look closely enough a massive portion of the things in this picture are loosely put together. The very end is super fulfilling, the splatter of ink exploding at the feet of this constellation of shapes made this entire piece way more active. It's like an explosion coming from the bottom; there's this gray, this smokescreen, that just comes from everywhere, and is like floating up to the top.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady okay so what do we have here? Now from the very beginning, i started of really small. The entire time while i'm watching this, the only thing i can think of is, how this could've gone in any number of directions. There could've been a slew of other lines that i could've put but the end result is not at all what i would i would expect. Now looking back on it, i cant help but feel as though this is what someone who works at a tech store would look like if they were an alien. If at the same time there was like a slight tear, that looks like an eye, through space and time. This little thing is just, this little nonsense, in the middle of everything. Then there all these dots, i feel like that's where all the space comes in. That's why this is an alien because its just so many dots, look at all these dots, all over the place. If anyone ever questions you as to what it would look like if an IT genius bar-esque person would look like, if they were an alien, this is definitely what you would have to show them . Without a doubt a hands down.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, what do we have here? Now without a doubt one of my favorite things to do, when i'm doodling or sketching. Having something be the main focal point, something personified, something you can relate to as the focal point of the piece. Have it surrounded by space that is taken up but its just space. There Is like this star-ey colorful background, even though it takes up a majority of the piece of paper. Its entire purpose is to really emphasis the focal point of the piece. This personified box, i don't know what it is, its almost like if a carton of cigarettes was really happy and came to life. That's what i look at when i see this piece a carton of cigarettes just opened its mouth grow an eyeball and a mustache. This is what it turned into but the actual occurrence is so fantastical, similarly to how a Pokemon evolves, it is just exploding with energy. Everything is turned on in the near vicinity. It's just always good to have a background that only serves to intensify the focal point of the entire piece, that's why this is definitely one of my favorites.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady okay so what do have here? At the very focal point of this entire piece is this little entity thing. This little entity thing has this huge bag hovering over its head. There's these shapes, the voids over the body of this thing. You don't even know what it is. You can kinda see, the way that i interpret this is; a big burdening bag hovering over this entities body, there's things going on, these circles, these shapes, there's a very colorful background. I feel like all of that really adds up to the sentiment, that often the burdening bag you carry is more then anything the actual environment is putting onto you. That's kind of how i interpret this but its just shapes, its all shapes. I really like that the purple in the foreground makes the piece more violent, the purple in the foreground definitely makes the piece more aggressive.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady okay so what do we have here? Right at the onset, i go on to make a nose, some teeth, i create this sort of decrepit creature. It doesn't seem right off the bat aggressive or friendly. It really is a figure without direct motives or intentions. I think just because of the shear size of this thing, that was created, it says a lot because it really does tower over the rest of the page. Considering that this entire piece is sort of coming off of a tilt, nothing is going straight up and down nothing is going straight horizontal .This whole page just seems tilted, im not sure. Personally i think it definitely adds to it overall. This weird figure who's motives are not clear, his intentions are not completely spoken for upfront by anything visual but it towers over you with this uncertainty.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady okay so what do we have here? Now right at the onset, its always really interesting when there isn't a direct sensation of what is going on. what is going to be built inside the mind of the viewer. I think of this as though there are two beacons in an ocean of waves trying to communicate to you. There are things coming from these two beacons and you almost cant interpret it because there is more then one thing being communicated at once. It really leaves you building what is going on in your head and sort of pieces together the sensation through your lens. There is so much that is left to be interpreted from this piece given that nothing is directly given to you. I like to think of two beacons that are sort of blinding you with information but beacons is really something that is only built in my head. It's just circles, it's just lines, it's just scritchy scratch, but at the same time you make it something else.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? This is actually one that i really like. There's some of these drawings, there's some of these doodles, that are my personal favorites. This one is among those, its like an octopus. It's got these tentacles and its got so much going on. It's got this pulse that's coming out. It's like a ring and the way that this squid thing is placed on top of that ring, love the way things are, and all these dots and all the shapes. I don't know if there's anything that i would change, maybe i would make it more personified. There is a face but the face is also ignorable because there are no eyes, there's no mouth, but there is an eye its just not an entire shape. It's kind of just the line and the way that its colored it makes everything look like one thing. It's just one connected piece of mass, so it can be personified, it can be a thing with a face if you want it to. It can also just be like this squid thing in space.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady okay what do have here? I definitely find that little drip factor at the very bottom really compelling. There's also something that makes me feel like this is a knight or like some protecting force. its It might be the kind of head, i don't know none of it makes sense. It all feels like its been twisted. I just get a feeling of protector, i love that i surrounded it with pink dots. It just adds so much, being able to have a background that contrasts with the main focal point, of the piece, is so its just so compelling. Seeing also remembering these dots, they kill my hand, they're wicked on my wrist. It's a super huge sacrifice but it just makes me feel more. When there are dots to contrast from the very obvious shapes in the middle. This little drip drip its protect you its going to protect you.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady okay so what do we have here? Now we start off by making this fence, drawing this door. You know the shapes are coming out from the sides and the very jagged pointy aggressive fence. I do end up toning down some this aggression, with the colors, i love how this came out. I don't think i would change anything about it. Theirs definitely something special in having something completely ordinary be the complete focus of a piece. Anything from a door, a box, anything. You can just make it the center and have everything come out of it. You can make something so normal into something so fantastical. This door is super basic, its just a shape. Something so ordinary is the focal point of this, you can create something super ordinary, into something super fantastical. It's like a door to your imagination, its a door to outside the regular atmosphere that you usually exist in.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay so what do we have here? This is seriously one of my favorite pieces from recent times. There's just something that i love about this really boring box. It's barely three dimensional, there's nothing extraordinary about any of the things individually. This soul personified box is surrounded by all of these things and because its personified, there's a face on it, its like this thing that is. That is surrounded by all these things that are not. The alive surrounded by whole bunch of stuff. Nothing else has consciousness, its like this desert of consciousness. Even though all of it is activity, its dead activity in comparison to the box that is very ordinary. It's this thing that is and its surrounded by all these things that are not. This is seriously one of my favorite pieces Ya-.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay what do we have? Here i'm definitely getting vibes off of this piece. There's definitely this feeling of balance things are very, if you were to put these shapes and activity, on this paper, on a scale they would be pretty even. A lot of it has to do with just the way things are centered and going in both directions, things are kinda just floating, things just kinda are. The colors just really reinforce that, by not being very negative, all the colors are complimentary to the balance. The yellow, very bright, makes it a very unaggressive piece. I can't help but think that this should be on a poker card or something. It definitely feels jester-esque, a lot of jester qualities. Maybe ill make this into a, this is, this is what i would consider. Yaughdeady.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady okay, what do we have here? Sometimes when i'm doodling, i make a decision. That for this sketch, for this doodle, this is going to be a rule that i'm going to follow. Sometimes that rule becomes your not going to lift up your pen. I'm not exactly sure why i do this, sometimes it just kind of happens. When i look at this i cant help but be struck by how i see our cellular biology in this, well this piece just thoroughly reminds me of biology class. Just the way things are kind of structured like there's some separation but everything is also one. The thing that ended up happening is, i was reminded of cells because i didn't lift up my pen. Which is just a weird thing to happen, a weird thing to happen. It's because certain things are contained but also open. That's why it reminds me of cells, also this color like a plant cell under a microscope. This color just might as well of been picked up by random but also this color just might as well of been picked up by random and also this color.
Yaughdeady on Youtube, Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin,Twitter and Discord (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady, okay what do we have here? You know i'm not, i'm not even sure what i was going for. The elongated face thing at the very beginning is kind of interesting. The things that are kind of eyes but also not anything cause it looks like i almost made a happy face. I change my mind but the faces are stretching from outside inwards, i'm not exactly sure how, but the face on the left it doesn't really look like a face but it looks really pained. Theirs something about these lines that i'm doing, i got a little excessive i'm not sure why i was so compelled to do so many lines. I definitely get the sense of being pulled apart, the top and the bottom are being pulled apart, everything is being pulled apart, being stretched, everything in this just feels elongated. A meta physical entity in the world of this paper stretched everything or is currently pulling everything. Similar to how space is pulling away, everything is being stretched but that's at least what i think i'm not exactly sure.
Yaughdeady on Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Lasso, linkedin and Twitter (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Yaughdeady what do we have here, i think there are certain natural positioning of shapes that just look good. It could be that its just our brains or my brain. Without fail it doesn't matter how weirdly non-shapey my shapes tend to be, i always feel like they end up positioned into things that aren't out of the ordinary. There are things for example the little pyramid at the very center or just in general the natural stacking of things that are smaller on top of bigger things. I always see this, Often when i am looking at these pieces that i have created, i get the sense of building context theirs something center or this certain point and everything else is just context. This little thing that is surrounded by circles but in the context of it being surrounded by all these weird shapes it all fits together. Often your just building one thing and the rest is just a contextual surrounding. I always wonder what it would look like if things went on forever nevertheless i suppose everything looks out of place without context.
Yaughdeady on Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok and Twitter (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) Okay Yaughdeady what do we have here? You can almost never go wrong, from starting from one particular point and expanding; with shapes, with lines, its always good fun. I think the most interesting part is the opposition to the expansion of the shapes and lines. It being also surrounded, the other side is devoid, It is there but it is there in opposition to the movement. It's engulfing so its really interesting to see just this moment of activity, expansion, and engulfment. Just the way these things interact, love the color, i love color. Look at them; blue, green just like the sky and the trees. Really the point of this one in particular, is that conflict between expansion and engulfment. That's what i have to say about his piece
Yaughdeady on Medium, Anchor, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok and Twitter (BEATS BY insta: @andywaterfalls) The start is on this just regular face, that i drew with like a little box around it, an observer, of the interaction between the two figures that i am drawing. It's the really meek, sheepish, condensed, little organism and then there's this bold constricting but also very large figure. The only place you'll find color is in the figure on the right the color is sort of like the power. You can tell between the two figures which one just looks like it wields more power, more energy, is this larger one. It's also the only figure with color and i think that plays a huge part in it. I had these, the rest is kind of like observatory. I feel like the interaction between the much boulder, with the smaller figure, there's definitely a dynamic between them. That was like the most interesting, even though this is like a piece that i dislike. It's okay to not like stuff, i think that's just perfect. That i made this, it sucks and that's okay like that's great.
