Welcome back to the Hall! This week, we’ve got legal scholar Nathan Oman hanging out with us to talk about his new book, Welding Another Link (out now from Kofford Books). Instead of one long, heavy academic argument, Nate’s book is a great collection of shorter essays. We get into his own life experiences and chat about what it actually means to live as a person of faith today. We talk about what it was like growing up right here in Salt Lake City, and how he balances those local roots with the wider world. One of my favorite parts of this episode is a great story about Nathan's friendship with an Orthodox Jewish professor. Nathan actually buys his friend’s alcohol every Passover to help him keep his religious commitments—it’s a fascinating look at how we can bond with people of other faiths. We also get into the story behind the book’s title and why he chose it. Buy the Book And of course, we wrap things up with the traditional three questions! You’ll get to hear about his current calling teaching early morning seminary, his absolute dream calling, and what he loves most about being a Latter-day Saint. If you enjoyed this episode, please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify. BONUS EPISODE: How to Stay Connected as a Couple During Busy Seasons of Life If you rated your marriage on a scale of one to ten right now, what number would you actually give it? A lot of us land somewhere in the middle. Not bad, no big problems, just, you know, fine. And "fine" is exactly the word my guest and I want to talk you out of settling for. In this special bonus episode, I sat down with my friend and fellow coach Chanelle Neilson, who coaches on marriage alongside her husband of 25 years. We get into why it's so easy to drift from your spouse once the kids and the calendar take over, and the freeing truth that a stronger marriage doesn't take more time, it takes more intention. Chanelle also walks us through her FIRM framework, Friendship, Intimacy, Respect, and Momentum, and shares small, doable habits that quietly compound into real closeness. If your marriage has slipped to the back burner while you pour everything into your kids, and you're ready to feel connected again without adding one more giant thing to your to-do list, this conversation is for you. In this episode you'll learn: Why "we're fine" can be the most dangerous phrase in a busy marriage, and what to aim for instead The reason real connection isn't about finding more time, but about bringing more intention What the FIRM framework is (Friendship, Intimacy, Respect, Momentum) and how to use it in everyday life How to invite your husband toward more connection without making him feel like he needs to change The one small, two-minute habit Chanelle says can start a whole chain reaction of feeling closer Get full show notes, transcript, and more information HERE To connect with Chanelle Neilson: Website: www.firmfoundationdatenight.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/firmfoundationmarriage/Email: chanelleneilson30@gmail.com Related Episodes If this one resonated with you, these may also help: Episode 272: Lessons from 25 Years of Marriage: Simple Ways to Strengthen Your Marriage Episode 174: Summer of Love: Strengthening The Relationship With Your Spouse Episode 171: How To Love Harder
In Part 2 of this Skinwalkers at the Pentagon series, we leave the cleaner world of government contracts, acronyms, and Pentagon offices, and step into the part of the story where everything gets much harder to explain. This episode is about the hitchhiker effect, the disturbing idea reported in the book that strange phenomena did not always stay at Skinwalker Ranch. According to Skinwalkers at the Pentagon, some investigators, military personnel, and witnesses experienced unusual events after leaving the ranch, almost as if something had followed them home.We also get into the Lagol Incident, blue orbs, ranch activity, strange lights, electronic interference, possible humanoid imagery, and the deeper problem at the center of this book: what if the UAP phenomenon is not just about objects in the sky? What if it also interacts with people, places, perception, fear, memory, and the body?James T. Lacatski, Colm Kelleher, and George Knapp present a version of the government UFO program that is much stranger than the public usually hears. This is not just nuts-and-bolts UFO stuff. This is where the story starts sounding like folklore walked into a Defense Intelligence Agency file and refused to leave.I am a UAP believer. I think there is enough evidence to take this seriously. But this episode is not about pretending every claim is easy to process. It is about sitting with the weirdness honestly.Because if even part of this is true, the question changes. It is no longer just, “Are UFOs real?”It becomes, “What kind of phenomenon are we actually dealing with?”

Matthew's Website:TheStageofTime.comLong before Matthew LaCroix became one of today's most recognized researchers of ancient history, lost civilizations and the mysteries of consciousness, he joined Robert Kalil on the Typical Skeptic Podcast for this fascinating early conversation. In this TSP Classic Archives release, Matthew explores the possibility that our everyday perception of reality—and even our individual identity—may be part of a much greater illusion. From consciousness and the hero's journey to the rise and fall of civilizations, this discussion asks what humanity's oldest surviving records might reveal about who we are and where we came from.We journey deep into ancient Mesopotamia and the world of Sumerian cuneiform tablets, examining Anunnaki history, the Atrahasis Epic, the Code of Hammurabi and other influential writings preserved from the ancient world. How much of humanity's forgotten story may still be encoded within these texts? Were our earliest civilizations trying to preserve knowledge about catastrophic cycles, powerful beings and the true nature of existence?Matthew also discusses ideas explored throughout his books, *The Illusion of Us* and *The Stage of Time*, connecting ancient history with consciousness, personal transformation and the timeless hero's journey. This conversation captures an early chapter in Matthew LaCroix's work—before his research reached the much larger audience it has today. It remains a thought-provoking exploration of ancient knowledge, human consciousness and the hidden forces that may have shaped civilization.Topics include:• The Anunnaki and ancient Mesopotamian history• Sumerian cuneiform tablets• The Atrahasis Epic and ancient flood traditions• The Code of Hammurabi• Consciousness and the illusion of the individual self• The hero's journey• Lost civilizations and forgotten history• *The Illusion of Us*• *The Stage of Time*• Humanity's place within the cycles of timeGo deep, keep an open mind, and decide for yourself.Typical Skeptic Podcast“We Go Deep—You Decide”Established 2019#MatthewLaCroix #Anunnaki #SumerianTablets #AncientHistory #Atrahasis #CodeOfHammurabi #Consciousness #TheIllusionOfUs #TheStageOfTime #LostCivilizations #SumerianHistory #HerosJourney #AncientMysteries #TSPClassics #TypicalSkepticPodcast

In this episode of In The LOOP, Jordan Jo sits down with 2025 Clown Act of the Year Matt Merritt for a conversation that goes far beyond the makeup and comedy. For 27 years, Matt has made rodeo crowds laugh, but behind it all is a story built on hard work, faith, family, and a genuine desire to bring joy wherever he goes. Matt shares how he got his start as a teenager in Louisiana, what he learned working everything from small rodeos to major events, and how “pulling his own wagon” helped shape his career. He also talks about building his personal brand, using social media as part of his business, and how rodeo has evolved over the years. The conversation turns personal as Matt opens up about his cancer journey, the role faith played in moving him from fear to peace, and how that season deepened his perspective on life. Jordan and Matt also talk about raising kids in rodeo, financial lessons, the responsibility of being someone younger generations look up to, and remembering that rodeo may be what you do—but it isn't who you are. It's funny, honest, faith-filled, and full of perspective from someone who has spent nearly three decades bringing joy to the rodeo world. ----In The LOOP Podcast hosted by Jordan Jo Hollabaugh, is inspired by the western culture and breakaway roping lifestyle.

Between February 1926 and June 1927, twenty-two women and one eight-month-old baby lost their lives to Earle Leonard Nelson – the man newspapers of the day called the 'Dark Strangler,' the 'Gorilla Man,' and the 'Gorilla Killer.' Four of those killings took place in Portland, with three occurring in a single week.Earle Leonard Nelson was almost certainly the first serial sex murderer of the twentieth century in America; a distinction most true crime listeners have never heard because his crimes predate the term "serial killer" by roughly half a century. As an orphaned child in San Francisco, he suffered what many believe was a devastating and life-altering accident that seemed to break something in him. We follow him through repeated stints at Napa State Mental Hospital, and into the cross-country killing spree that made him briefly the most-hunted man in North America. His Portland victims – Beata Withers, Virginia Grant, Mabel Fluke, and Blanche Myers, killed between October and November of 1926 – led to what may have been one of, if not the first serial-killer safety advisories in American history, issued by the Portland Police Bureau. Amidst the chaos of his killings, we'll also talk about the unlikely survivors and other victims slain in his brutal spree across the country. Though the trail comes to a final conclusion, eerily on Friday, January the 13th, of 1928 in Winnipeg, his confirmed count of twenty-two would stand as the American record for nearly fifty years. Then the case, and the man, despite massive impact at the time, quietly slipped out of public memory. If this story moves you, we'd love it if you shared the episode - it helps the show, and most importantly the story deserves to be remembered. In this episode, Dr. Gladden speaks with Dr. Hany Demian about the shift from reactive medicine to prevention, personalization, and longevity-focused care. Dr. Hany shares how his journey through breast surgery, emergency medicine, and chronic pain management led him to a more systems-based approach to health, aging, and healing. They discuss why aging may be better understood as a condition, how patient empowerment changes outcomes, and why nervous system regulation, stress reduction, and individualized care matter as much as diagnostics and therapies. Dr. Austin Chiang has built one of medicine's most distinctive public platforms. He is a triple board-certified gastroenterologist, Chief Medical Officer for Medtronic's Endoscopy business and Associate Professor of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. He is also one of healthcare's most influential physician voices online, with hundreds of thousands of followers across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. That makes him an ideal guest for Season 11 of Fixing Healthcare with cohosts Dr. Robert Pearl and Jeremy Corr. This season asks what patients, clinicians and healthcare leaders are saying now that feels meaningfully different from the past. Chiang hears those concerns from several vantage points: as a practicing physician, medical technology leader, educator and public-facing doctor. For Chiang, three issues stand out: Clinician burnout and loss of autonomy Chiang says physicians are struggling with administrative burden, documentation demands, prior authorization, staffing shortages, reimbursement pressure and a growing sense that medical decisions are no longer fully in their hands. Pearl pushes further, asking whether clinicians must take more responsibility for affordability rather than simply objecting to the oversight created in response to rising costs. Chiang agrees that physicians need a better understanding of the broader healthcare ecosystem if they want to help change it. Medical misinformation and social media Chiang has spent more than a decade learning how to communicate across platforms and audiences. He explains that accurate medical information must now compete with sensationalized claims from people who are not held to the same professional standards as clinicians. For doctors, the challenge is to be credible without being boring, engaging without becoming irresponsible and platform-specific without compromising the message. That tension is especially important in areas like gut health, diet, probiotics and the microbiome, where uncertainty creates space for simple but potentially misleading answers. Clinician-led innovation As Medtronic's Chief Medical Officer for Endoscopy, Chiang works at the intersection of clinical practice and medical technology. He explains that innovation in medicine is slow for good reason: new tools must prove safety, clinical value, workflow fit and real-world usefulness before becoming mainstream. But he argues that clinicians need to be more involved in that process because they understand the nuances of patient care, staff experience and adoption better than outsiders can. The conversation also explores colorectal cancer, which is rising among younger adults. Chiang explains why colonoscopy remains the gold standard for prevention, while also noting that lowering screening ages further would create major capacity challenges. He also discusses AI-assisted polyp detection, the future of endoscopy and why fully autonomous colonoscopy remains difficult given the complexity of human anatomy. There's much more in this conversation, including physician career paths beyond traditional practice, how doctors should respond when patients bring AI-generated information to appointments and what people with chronic GI conditions need from clinicians, platforms and online communities. Tune in to hear one of medicine's most visible digital physician leaders explain how doctors can help shape a future where technology, social media and medical innovation better serve patients. * * * Fixing Healthcare is a co-production of Dr. Robert Pearl and Jeremy Corr. Friday Bible Study (8/7/26) // *Nehemiah 5:7-13* (ESV) // *Nehemiah Stops Oppression of the Poor* // 7 I took counsel with myself, and I brought charges against the nobles and the officials. I said to them, “You are exacting interest, each from his brother.” And I held a great assembly against them 8 and said to them, “We, as far as we are able, have bought back our Jewish brothers who have been sold to the nations, but you even sell your brothers that they may be sold to us!” They were silent and could not find a word to say. 9 So I said, “The thing that you are doing is not good. Ought you not to walk in the fear of our God to prevent the taunts of the nations our enemies? 10 Moreover, I and my brothers and my servants are lending them money and grain. Let us abandon this exacting of interest. 11 Return to them this very day their fields, their vineyards, their olive orchards, and their houses, and the percentage of money, grain, wine, and oil that you have been exacting from them.” 12 Then they said, “We will restore these and require nothing from them. We will do as you say.” And I called the priests and made them swear to do as they had promised. 13 I also shook out the fold[a] of my garment and said, “So may God shake out every man from his house and from his labor who does not keep this promise. So may he be shaken out and emptied.” And all the assembly said “Amen” and praised the Lord. And the people did as they had promised.*Footnotes*a. Send us Fan MailThere's a gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it, and most people live in that gap far longer than they need to. Jayne Havens doesn't. Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, she says her brain just doesn't do the "should I, shouldn't I" loop; she treats her business like a video game she's playing against herself, one level beaten so she can get to the next one. The strategy part was never really the hard part for her. The hard part is making the call in the first place.Join Anna and Tim as they talk with Jayne, a sleep consultant who built a business, then built a second business teaching other people how to become sleep consultants, about what actually separates people who follow through from people who stay stuck. It's not a better plan or more information. It's deciding, outsourcing what isn't your strength, and trusting yourself enough to keep going before you have it all figured out. This Episode Covers:The advice from her father that made spending money on her business feel easy instead of scary. Why she still gets burnt out carrying the weight of her clients' anxiety, even when she loves the work. The boundaries she puts in place so a trip abroad doesn't put her business at risk. Why she believes hiring people who don't show up the way you would can quietly destroy a business. The moment she felt embarrassed to tell her own family that she wanted more. Her take on the worst advice you can follow: someone else's plan for your life. What she wishes more people understood about why entrepreneurs actually do this work.Connect with Jayne:Website - https://thesnoozefest.com/ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/snoozefestbyjaynehavensFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/SnoozeFestbyJayneHavens/ Until next time, here's to deeper connections and personal growth.Mad love!Book a Discovery Call for Coaching/Therapy: https://calendly.com/badassconfidencecoach/coachingThe podcast is now on YouTube! What if waking up at 3 a.m. every night has nothing to do with willpower and everything to do with two degrees? This week on the Glow Up, Gyrl Podcast, Kyra sits down with Dr. Tara Youngblood, sleep science educator, inventor, and founder of Geli. Tara holds more than 50 patents, co-founded ChiliSleep, and shared her "sleep recipe" approach in her TEDxCaryWomen talk. She came to this work the hard way. After losing her son Benjamin in 2008, she stopped sleeping almost entirely, and the grief and depression that followed sent her into more than 10,000 hours of research. In this episode: Losing her son, losing her sleep, and what she went looking for Why most sleep research was done on college-age men and left women out entirely The biggest sleep myth women believe about being "just a bad sleeper" Why your body has to drop two degrees to reach deep sleep, and what your mattress is doing about it The sleep switch, and why turning it off in the morning matters as much as turning it on at night Kyra gets candid about perimenopause and dreading bedtime What Tara wants women to ask their doctors about estrogen, progesterone, and testing A 30-second stress reset you can do in a bathroom stall Her honest take on memory foam, alcohol before bed, and the five tips flooding your feed The gratitude practice her son brought home from camp that the family still does every night Inside Geli and the science behind it Whether you are lying awake at 3 a.m., moving through a hormonal season nobody prepared you for, or running a company on four hours of sleep, this conversation will meet you right where you are. What happens when you want your marriage to change, but your partner has zero interest in counseling, personal development, or doing a relationship workbook after dinner? Are you stuck waiting for them to get on board? Marriage coach Julie Tran says no. Julie's own marriage reached a point where she and her husband loved each other, but didn't particularly like each other. They were having the same arguments, walking on eggshells, and feeling more like roommates than partners. She wanted to work on the relationship. He wasn't exactly racing to join her. So Julie stopped waiting for him to change and started looking at what she could do differently. In this Fit Girl Magic podcast episode, we talk about how one person can begin changing the dynamic of a marriage without taking responsibility for the entire relationship. Julie also shares her three-step Beautiful Boundaries Blueprint for expressing what you need without turning every conversation into an indictment. We get into: Why long marriages can start feeling more like roommate arrangements What happens when you're keeping score and you're clearly winning How to stop having the same argument dressed in different clothes Why your partner's annoying habit is rarely the real problem How to make a request without blaming, demanding, or starting round 47 The difference between doing your part and doing all the work What sesame seeds, coffee slurping, and a spotless kitchen can teach us about love If you've ever thought, I want this marriage to feel better, but I can't be the only one trying, this episode may help you see what's still within your control. In this Wellness Tech installment, Jonathan Mendoza, DC, APRN, NP-C — Nurse Doza — explains why red light panels have become a daily fixture in his clinic and his home. He covers how red and near-infrared wavelengths reach the mitochondria to support healthy ATP production, why panels deliver solar-style input without UV exposure, how he personally uses violet light to wind down at night, and what the emerging 40Hz gamma-frequency research does and does not yet show in humans. FEATURED PARTNER LightpathLED builds veteran-owned red and near-infrared light therapy panels. Nurse Doza uses one daily and highlights this brand specifically because it offers more than a single red setting — it includes violet-spectrum output and adjustable frequency, including a 40Hz option he notes he hasn't found on other consumer panels. Shop: https://lightpathled.com Code: NURSEDOZA (discount applied at checkout) Current promo:Select Diesel Gen3 panels ship with a free stand — verify at checkout, promos change Join the School of Doza The School of Doza is a paid health-education community with live group consults every **Wednesday at 1 PM Central**, plus courses, protocols, and direct access to Nurse Doza. Start your free trial: https://www.schoolofdoza.com --- 5 Key Takeaways 1. Red and near-infrared light interact with your mitochondria, not just your skin. These wavelengths are absorbed by cytochrome c oxidase in the electron transport chain, which supports healthy ATP production — the mechanism researchers call photobiomodulation. 2. A panel delivers solar-style light input without the UV load. Most people spend the majority of daylight hours indoors under light their cells don't recognize. Red light panels are one way to add that input without the burn risk that comes with UV exposure. 3. Panels are low-friction to use. No undressing required — Nurse Doza sits in front of his and lets it hit his forehead. He uses sessions in the two-to-five-minute range as his own personal routine, not a prescribed protocol. 4. Violet light sits at the opposite end of the visible spectrum from red. Nurse Doza reports using violet output in the evening as part of his wind-down. This is his subjective experience — violet-specific calming effects are not yet well established in the peer-reviewed literature. 5. The 40Hz frequency setting is an area of active research, not settled science. Gamma-frequency entrainment at 40Hz has been studied for its effects on brain activity, but the most-cited amyloid findings are from animal models and have published author corrections. Interesting, worth following — not a treatment. Have you ever come home from hanging out with a new friend and you spiral, wondering if you shared too much or scared them off?I call this a new friend hangover. And in today's episode, I want to talk about what happens when we rush into new friendships, especially when we are really, really hungry for connection. So much of adult friendship advice tells us to open up, be vulnerable, share more, and let people in. I don't think that advice is wrong, exactly. I just think it's incomplete. The coffee dates, the shared activities, the silly moments, the tiny details you notice about each other are all part of your friendship origin story, which is where a lot of roots start to grow.In this episode you'll hear about:How being hungry for connection can make us try to fast-forward a friendship before it has rootsWhy anxious “new friend hangovers” can show up after a hangout you were excited aboutWhy taking pottery classes and sharing recipes can create small intimacies How to think about sharing from a scar instead of a wound when a friendship is still newResources & LinksEpisode 12: Digging Into the 3 Types of Friendship RootsEpisode 74: The Power of Vulnerability In Small DosesEpisode 100: How To Use the Wheel of Connection to Strengthen Your Support SystemLike what you hear? What happens when artists stop waiting for Hollywood to pick them? I sit down with creator-economy entrepreneur Zack Honarvar to talk about how the entertainment industry is changing, why creators have more power than ever, and what artists need to understand about building an audience in the new Hollywood. In this episode, Zack Honarvar and I talk about: the creator economy and the decline of traditional Hollywood gatekeepers the difference between creators and celebrities—and why prestige still matters why actors, musicians, and artists need to learn how to command attention using social media to create your own opportunities instead of waiting to be discovered why the artists who learn to love promotion will have an unfair advantage Zack also shares his perspective on YouTube creators moving into traditional entertainment, Netflix licensing creator content, building businesses around your creative work, and why publicly claiming your biggest career goals can actually help you achieve them. There's something different about rain when you don't have anywhere to be.This is one hour of steady rain with a very quiet ambient soundscape underneath it: deep low-frequency tones, a slowly drifting Am–F–C–G progression, faint synth shimmer, and a subtle 6Hz binaural beat in the theta range. The rain stays at the center of the recording. Everything underneath it is intentionally quiet, there to give the sound a little more depth without turning it into music you have to actively listen to.Use it for sleep, reading, studying, meditation, unwinding after a long day, or just making whatever room you're in feel a little quieter.
Look out! A new Definitive Ranking approaches! That's right: Definitive Ranking makes its triumphant return as we rank the original Super Smash Bros lineup based on actual lethality. We Fell In Love Thanks To Sobriety w/ Nic And Ant (@nic_n_ant) | The Hopeaholics Podcast #353Nicole and Anthony one of the most recognized and popular sober/recovery couples in social media. They met in a recovery meeting in 2018. She had six years and he was 60 days out of detox. His first year clean was a mess. Lies, cheating, not working a program. Both going through divorces simultaneously, his kids hating Nicole, his ex-wife's family leaving homewrecker comments in the comment section for years. They broke up and kept finding their way back. Nicole got clean at 21. Before that: 92 pounds, homeless, sheets over every mirror because she couldn't look at herself, months in the same blue dress without showering. Five arrests starting at 19 — selling drugs on felony probation, assault with a deadly weapon, possession. Stealing painkillers off a dying aunt on hospice and still not stopping. Anthony's path started with a work injury and a prescription. Heroin, then speed, then the needle. He took his son to baseball practice, dropped him off, and sat in the car getting high. He left his family mid-vacation in Montauk, drove four hours home to pawn the Rolex his wife had saved up to buy him, and went on a two-day run. When he came back, she told him: get help or you'll never see these kids again. I am officially the last remaining human on Earth who has never seen Rüfüs Du Sol live, and watching everyone's tour footage is testing my spirit. Speaking of wild video, we pivot to the stunning, surreal camera footage captured during the recent earthquake in Colombia that had everyone on social media doing a double-take. We take time to celebrate the incredible life, vibrant legacy, and immense global impact of Syd Towle following her tragic loss, reflecting on the lasting impression she left across the internet and beyond. On a lighter note, we dive into the fun, chaotic trends currently taking over TikTok this week—including the viral, bittersweet moment between a dad and his toddler that has the entire internet in tears because the little guy announced he's officially ready for a "big boy bike." Finally, we hit the screen with Robert Pattinson's work as Chris Hansen in Primetime, followed by our full breakdown of two major new streaming releases hitting Hulu: the long-awaited adaptation of The Shards and the relentless new drama Furious. What happens when caring about someone becomes fixing them, worrying about them, rescuing them—or feeling responsible for how their life turns out?In this episode of Masks Off: Inner Freedom for People Pleasers and Perfectionists, I explore enmeshment and the subtle ways we can lose ourselves by becoming overly focused on the people we love.I share how this pattern has shown up in my own relationships with my children through fixing, worrying, rescuing, and trying to prevent difficult outcomes. We'll talk about:What enmeshment actually looks likeWhy fixing, worrying, and rescuing can feel like loveHow the Inner Controller fuels over-involvementThe difference between support and rescueWhy being needed can become part of our identityHow to separate what belongs to us from what belongs to someone elseHow to remain connected without abandoning yourselfHealing enmeshment does not mean becoming detached or loving someone less.It means learning:I can care about you without carrying you.I can support you without controlling you.I can remain connected to you without disconnecting from myself.Because becoming free to be your true self also means allowing the people you love to be free to live their own lives.
Shane and Kody Sherlund are back for episode 199, one away from a big milestone, with a packed slate covering tax policy, tech layoffs, opportunity zones, private fund pitfalls, and California's groundbreaking wealth tax. They kick off with the IRS issuing proposed regulations on employer contributions to Trump accounts, what Section 530a actually means, and where these accounts fit in the order of operations next to a 529. Then it's on to the latest wave of tech layoffs at Google, TikTok, Etsy, and Zillow, whether AI is really the culprit nobody wants to name, and why creative destruction has always worked this way. They also cover Opportunity Zone 2.0 and deferring 2026 capital gains into 2027, the Wall Street Journal's warning that private funds come with big tax bills most people aren't factoring in, and California's new wealth tax, which saw only six billionaires leave but take $27 billion in potential revenue with them. They close with the most common question on the internet: " Do I need an LLC?" Topics covered: IRS proposed regulations on Trump accounts and employer contributions Section 530a explained and where it fits next to a 529 Tech layoffs at Google, TikTok, Etsy, and Zillow, and the AI elephant in the room The golden era of AI-enabled solopreneurs and creative destruction Opportunity Zone 2.0 and deferring 2026 capital gains into 2027 Private funds come with big tax bills, and most investors are not factoring in California's wealth tax: six billionaires left and took $27 billion with them State clawbacks and what Anthropic employees moving out of California need to know Do I need an LLC?
