Alexa Burger is producer of Netflix's three-part documentary series Death of the Pastor's Wife. The series tells the story of Mica Miller, a 30-year-old pastor's wife from South Carolina whose April 2024 death was ruled a suicide. Mica grew up deeply rooted in her faith and met John-Paul “JP” Miller, a pastor sixteen years her senior, when she was 13. Years later, the two married, and Mica became a prominent presence in his church. As their marriage deteriorated, allegations of abuse, coercive control, surveillance, and harassment emerged, and Mica began speaking publicly about abusive relationships. Two days after serving JP with divorce papers, she was found dead in a North Carolina state park. Featuring never-before-seen footage and firsthand accounts from Mica's family and friends, Death of the Pastor's Wife examines her life, marriage, final months, and the troubling questions that emerged after her death. She had dreamed about her father many times after he died, but those dreams always felt like dreams. Then one night, he appeared differently. He was standing in the kitchen of her childhood home, looking worried, and telling her not to make a trip she had planned for the next morning. She woke shaken, but by daylight she had convinced herself there was no reason to take a dream seriously.Years later, her father appeared again in that same kitchen with another warning—this time about her mother. Only now, she knew what could happen if she ignored him.Was her mind creating meaning out of coincidence, or had her father somehow found a way to reach her when it mattered most?#Paranormal #VisitationDream #SignsFromLovedOnes #Afterlife #GhostStories #Premonition #Unexplained #ParanormalEncounter #DreamVisitation #MessagesFromBeyond #Visitation #ParanormalWarningLove real ghost stories? A worsening snowstorm forced them off the road and into a small mountain town where there weren't many options for the night. One motel was cheaper than the rest, though everything about it—from the nearly empty parking lot to the outdated rooms—made her question whether saving a few dollars was really worth it.Before checking in, she read the reviews. Most complained about stained sheets, cigarette burns and a place badly in need of renovation. But one guest described something much stranger that had happened in the middle of the night. She noticed it, thought it was creepy, and booked the room anyway.Hours later, she woke up and discovered why that particular review should have bothered her a lot more. What happened inside that motel room—and why had another guest described almost the exact same night before she ever arrived?#RealGhostStoriesOnline #RealGhostStories #GhostStory #HauntedHotel #HauntedMotel #ResidualHaunting #Paranormal #GhostEncounter #Unexplained #TrueGhostStory #Snowstorm Love real ghost stories? He's the guy behind "Betty (Get Money)" and a fur coat two-step that took over TikTok, but before Yung Gravy was flexing platinum plaques, he was studying finance and marketing in college. Today on Money Rehab, we sit down with the rapper who lives a double life: viral hitmaker by night, options trader by day. Gravy walks us through the trade that made him $400K, a bet on 1-800-Flowers stock at the start of COVID, built on a grim but accurate read that funeral orders were about to spike. It's the kind of call institutional investors make quietly all the time; Gravy just said the quiet part out loud, and the internet has been arguing about the ethics of it ever since. We get into how a music-industry paycheck, unpredictable, front-loaded, gone as fast as the trend that made it, pushed him to actually learn the market instead of just spending like a rapper. What it's like sitting in a room with a finance background while everyone assumes you can't do math because you rap about money instead of manage it. Where the rap flex ends and the real portfolio begins. And whether the same instincts that write a viral hook are the same instincts that spot an undervalued stock before anyone else does. Nikki & Brie are back side by side for a catch-up that goes from surprisingly deep to completely ridiculous in record time. The twins get real about independence, relationships, and why finding peace on your own can change what you're willing to accept from other people. But this is Nikki & Brie, so the conversation quickly spirals into viral Bobby pin experiments, Nikki's questionable online shopping, their kids telling wildly creative stories, Gen Z trading smartphones for flip phones, and a debate over teaching children to set boundaries. And just when Brie thinks she's safe, Nikki brings up that embarrassing story again. Press play for sisterhood, real talk, big laughs, and absolutely no shortage of TMI. This week on Chrisley Confessions 2.0, Todd and Julie sit down with Kim Clark, the mother of Jake Harris, for an incredibly personal conversation about loss, family, addiction, and finding a way forward after unimaginable tragedy.Kim opens up about who Jake was before the headlines ever existed: a devoted son, brother, father, athlete, coach, and someone who quietly went out of his way to help the people around him. She shares stories of the young man who bought cleats for a child who couldn't afford them, left diapers on a stranger's porch, and became known throughout Watertown for his huge heart.Kim also walks Todd and Julie through the devastating morning she learned Jake had been killed, the impact on his children, the funeral that brought thousands of people together, and the questions she has carried ever since. The conversation turns to drugs, mental illness, domestic violence, the justice system, and the difficult decisions she had to make while trying to protect her grandchildren. But this conversation is ultimately about what comes after the loss. Kim is determined to keep Jake's name alive through the Jake Harris Blessing Box, the Jake Harris Scholarship Foundation, and her work toward Jake's Law. She talks honestly about grief, faith, being "strong" while still feeling broken, and why she refuses to let Jake become just another statistic.Thank you to our sponsors for supporting the show!- SmileSet: Listeners of our show get an additional 35% discount when they go to https://www.smileset.com/chrisley! When the James Webb Space Telescope started sending back images in 2022, something mysterious appeared: little red dots, speckled across the sky. They didn't look like any known celestial objects, and astronomers began racing to figure out what they were. There was a lot of hot debate, but researchers are making progress—the dots appear to be black holes, but black holes like we've never seen them before. In a recent study, astrophysicist Rohan Naidu and his team looked into one little red dot with the catchy name of MoM-BH*-1 and concluded it was a new cosmic category called a black hole star. Guest: Dr. Rohan Naidu is an assistant professor at the Institute for Astronomy at the University of Hawaiʻi. Today on The Gist, guest host Scott introduces a 2022 conversation between Mike Pesca and former US Senator Al Franken, who discusses his return to stand-up comedy and looks back at his tenure in the Senate. Franken examines how his background as a comedy writer and performer informed his sharp, forensic approach to committee hearings, including his memorable question during Jeff Sessions' confirmation that ultimately led to the Attorney General's recusal, and his viral exchange with Education Secretary nominee Betsy DeVos over growth versus proficiency. He and Mike also discuss the cynical comedic worldview of Lindsey Graham, the breakdown of cross-aisle Senate comity, and Franken's proposed reforms to fix the modern filibuster. We're back with another episode of The Double Cleanse, and this week James and Robert are diving into their current favourite products… alongside some wild TikTok Shop trends that are driving them crazy. After opening with memories of filming for a blood donation campaign back when it became legal for gay men to donate in the UK (they were pale and nearly fainting… and the footage was apparently too unusable to ever air), the twins share embarrassing health moments – including the time a doctor spilled Robert's urine sample ALL over the clinic floor and then cleaned it up while he sat there mortified. They also have their current go-to products – including the Korean sunscreen with niacinamide meaning it doesn't sting the eyes, the flat brushes that actually push product INTO your skin, and the cloudy serum with salmon egg DNA that brightens and rejuvenates. They also tackle the ridiculous TikTok Shop trends going around – people stitching videos claiming "he doesn't get Botox, he uses this!"- and the bizarre toothpaste trend where people put their finger in the back of their mouth to determine if they need mouthwash. The logic? Non-existent. The content? Everywhere. Don't forget to subscribe and catch new episodes of The Double Cleanse every Monday! Renee and her family thought they had found the perfect Texas home for their teenage sons to finish growing up in. It needed plenty of work, but that was part of the plan. They would remodel it, make it their own and settle in.Almost immediately, though, Renee noticed something about one long hallway that made her uncomfortable. Then, during the renovations, they uncovered something beneath the old carpet that none of them could quite explain.Months later, while her husband was away, the house began giving Renee and her son even more reason to wonder about its past. But it wasn't until Renee saw something for herself—and later asked a neighbor a few questions—that the pieces finally began to fit together. What had happened inside their home before they moved in…and was someone connected to it still there?#RealGhostStoriesOnline #RealGhostStories #GhostStory #HauntedHouse #Paranormal #GhostEncounter #TexasHaunting #Unexplained #ParanormalActivity #TrueGhostStory Love real ghost stories? This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!Can an object hold onto something long after it was created? Not just energy—but intention. Ritual. Something that was meant to be there. For Heather Lynn, those questions aren't theoretical. Through her work studying the intersection of archaeology and the occult, she's explored how ancient cultures didn't just fear unseen forces—they actively worked with them, sometimes binding them to objects meant to last far beyond a single lifetime. From burial sites to everyday items, there are cases where something seems to remain—something aware, something attached, and not easily separated from the physical world. Are these stories shaped by belief… or are there instances where the object itself becomes the vessel? As accounts of cursed artifacts and modern attachments continue to surface, the line between history and something far more unsettling begins to blur—and raises a question that's hard to ignore: if something was invited in… did it ever truly leave?#TheGraveTalks #CursedObjects #HauntedArtifacts #ParanormalPodcast #OccultHistory #DemonicArtifacts #HauntedItems #AncientMysteries #ParanormalResearch #SupernaturalEvidenceLove real ghost stories? He was only five or six when a mix-up after school turned into every parent's nightmare. His family arrived expecting him to be waiting with his teacher, only to discover he was gone. No one knew where he had gone, who he might have left with, or how long he had been missing. Then they found him safely at home.He calmly explained that a man had walked him there, but his description didn't match anyone the family could identify. It wasn't until later, while looking through old photographs, that he suddenly pointed to one picture and insisted he knew exactly who the man was.Who made sure a little boy got safely home that day—and had someone who loved him found a way to come back when he was needed most?#RealGhostStoriesOnline #RealGhostStories #GhostStory #GuardianAngel #AfterDeath #Visitation #Paranormal #LovedOnes #Unexplained #TrueGhostStory Love real ghost stories? A quiet afternoon suddenly turns terrifying when an enormous crash erupts from the room where the children are playing. It sounds like dishes shattering, wood breaking, and something heavy collapsing hard enough to shake the house.Expecting to find a cupboard overturned—or worse—they rush into the room. Instead, the children are still playing, the furniture is standing, and not a single dish is broken. A search of the rest of the house reveals nothing out of place.Years pass, but the sound is never forgotten. Then, more than a decade later, another violent crash shakes the very same house. Once again, everyone rushes toward the sound expecting to find damage. And once again, there is absolutely nothing there. What could make a house sound as though it is collapsing when nothing has moved at all?#RealGhostStories #TrueGhostStories #GhostStory #Paranormal #Unexplained #HauntedHouse #ParanormalActivity #GhostEncounter #StrangeSounds #Haunting #PhantomCrashing #PhantomCrashLove real ghost stories? A séance sounded like a creepy but harmless idea for a girls' night. None of the five women went in expecting much, and Nikki certainly didn't expect anything there to know something deeply personal about her. Then a voice from the hallway called her by a childhood nickname she hadn't used in years. After they left, the strange activity didn't stay behind. Knocking began in their homes, whispers came from empty rooms, and one by one, all five women experienced something they couldn't easily explain. The woman who led the séance eventually asked them to come back—not to make contact again, but to end whatever had started. What answered them the second time was even more unsettling. Because when they finally asked who was there, it didn't give them a name.#Paranormal #Seance #GhostStories #Haunted #ParanormalEncounter #Unexplained #SpiritCommunication #CreepyStories #BeingFollowed #Attachment #SpiritsLove real ghost stories? She had lived alone for years without ever feeling uneasy in her own house. Then one night, shortly after two in the morning, three clear knocks woke her from a sound sleep.A few minutes later, the knocking came again. When she quietly went downstairs, she heard something even more unexpected: two children talking outside her front door. They asked to come inside, but despite having no obvious reason to fear them, every instinct she had told her to keep the door locked. She eventually called police, and by the time officers arrived, the children were gone. The next morning, she remembered the security camera pointed directly at the porch and decided to see exactly what it had recorded. What she found left her wondering whether anyone had been standing outside her door at all.#RealGhostStories #TheUnexplained #GhostStory #Paranormal #BlackEyedKids #Unexplained #GhostEncounter #ParanormalActivity #Haunting #CreepyEncounterLove real ghost stories? Can a pharmacist build a $10 million net worth without an extraordinary income? In this episode of the Milestones to Millionaire Podcast, Dr. Jim Dahle talks with a retired pharmacist who spent four decades building wealth through disciplined saving, long-term investing, and thoughtful real estate purchases. She shares how living below her means from the beginning of her career allowed her to become financially independent at age 52, even though she continued working for several more years by choice. Along the way, she navigated a divorce, cared for aging parents, invested through the 2008 financial crisis and the COVID market decline, and never abandoned her long-term investment plan. The conversation explores the power of compounding, balancing index fund investing with rental real estate, using market downturns as buying opportunities, and lessons learned while managing her parents' estate. She also explains why financial literacy within families matters and how open conversations can make estate transitions much smoother. Whether you're a physician, pharmacist, or any high-income professional, this episode demonstrates that building substantial wealth is less about chasing extraordinary returns and more about remaining disciplined over decades. Time in the market, consistent investing, and living below your means can create opportunities that are difficult to appreciate until compounding has decades to work. Jesse and Emily Cole created theSavannah Bananaswith a simple mission in mind: to make baseball as entertaining as possible. They introduced some innovations to America's pastime, including twerking umpires, stilt-walking pitchers and TikTok-ready choreographed dance numbers. They tinkered with the rules of baseball, making a game that was shorter and faster, with plenty of opportunities for fan engagement. The result? A sports sensation. In the 10 years since its founding, the team has become one of the most popular sports organizations in the world, reaching tens of millions of fans online, with a waiting list of millions of others hoping to see a game in person. For many, the Bananas are the ultimate sports success story, one that shows a path forward for teams and leagues concerned about fan retention in an era of shortened attention spans and endless entertainment options. But others take a less rosy view of the Bananas and their hyper-energetic brand of baseball, seeing them as an existential threat to a game that fans have loved for more than a hundred years. On today's show, host Natalie Kitroeff talks with Jonathan Abrams, a Times reporter who covers culture news, about the Bananas phenomenon, and then heads to a Banana Ball game to see things for herself. On Today's Episode Jonathan Abrams is a reporter for The New York Times covering national culture news. A listener had a mortifying public moment...and somehow ended up on a date because of it. You'll have to hear the full story to believe it. It’s so crazy and we’d feel so embarrassed, but also grateful?? Haha. We hear from a caller who confesses she pre-cleans her house before the cleaners arrive, and yes, you are not alone if you do this too. A listener encourages Amy to cut her hair, plus we answer a question that was asked by many: what is a drink dropper?! We also get into a tricky question from a listener who works as an overnight cleaner: she found something disturbing left behind by a group of teens at a school she cleans, and now feels strangely embarrassed to even report it to her male supervisor. We try to unpack where that shame is coming from. Get some Feeling Things merch by clicking HERE! (FeelingThingsPodcast.com) Sign up for the Feeling Things newsletter HERE! Watch us on Youtube HERE! The host's core point: the two were trying to litigate a criminal case whose facts haven't been established in court, arguing "internal frame versus internal frame," which inevitably devolves into madness when those frames don't intersect. He's pointed that this isn't about who's likable—he argues Wilson walked in as a "frame of reference" debater whose bully-the-room tactics collapsed against someone prepared, and that Wilson couldn't name the actual charges in the case while Candace could, making him look like he wasn't arguing from real command of the facts. On Candace, the host makes a deliberately careful epistemics argument: whatever you think of her conclusions, treating "she's obviously wrong" as self-evident is itself a frame-of-reference trap—because the facts of the trial (Tyler Robinson has not yet entered a plea, and the case hasn't been argued) simply aren't out yet, so neither side can claim proof. He predicts how the trial may play out and why the defense's choices about which evidence to use will be the real tell, while stressing repeatedly that he's speculating and that the honest position right now is "we don't know." Ryan and the team push on where the line sits between healthy skepticism and conspiratorial thinking, and the group lands on a shared lesson: don't get pulled into a debate when there's no agreed framework for adjudicating it, and wait for the facts before declaring a winner. The team breaks down the public exchange between Rep. Ro Khanna, who argues America must tax wealth and redistribute from billionaires, and Mark Cuban, who pushes back that "ideology is not a strategy." The host agrees with the diagnosis but not the cure: he concedes that people genuinely feel the system isn't working for them—and that they're right, pointing to the college-debt pipeline, an abusive housing market, and currency inflation eroding savings—but argues that taxing wealth misidentifies the solution. Walking through Cuban's argument, he explains the mechanics most people miss: founders of $10B "deca-unicorns" are typically cash-poor and stock-rich, worth billions on paper while the raised money goes into the company, not their pockets—so a wealth tax forces them to sell or borrow against speculative shares, which is often impossible and destructive to the company itself. He highlights Cuban's warning that a California wealth tax (Prop 40) would simply push investors to require startups to relocate to Texas, Indiana, or Florida first—meaning the state loses deca-unicorns it never even sees leave—and that "when you tax something, you get less of it." He connects it to his recurring critique of Bernie Sanders' framing: even if the revenue estimate were real (roughly $20B/year against a ~$30B Medicaid funding gap), you can only spend it once, and the act of liquidating shares to collect it would be self-defeating. The host's alternative is structural: get money out of politics, be fiscally disciplined, rebuild real manufacturing to take on China, stop funneling everyone into debt-financed college, let students discharge that debt in bankruptcy to force lending discipline, and stop suppressing wages with low-wage immigration so the true price of labor is revealed. Tom, Drew, and Ryan dig into a Census Bureau data effort that cross-referenced 2020 voter records against federal citizenship files—and end up in a genuine, three-way disagreement about what it means. Tom plants a strong flag: he believes there is significant voter fraud that will be revealed as more data is processed, arguing from "first principles" that where you have access plus incentive and no safeguard, abuse will follow, and that election integrity is worth shoring up even before there's overwhelming evidence. Drew and Ryan push back as the fact-checkers in the room: Drew stresses that the reported ~24,000 figure comes from a partial, unprocessed run and, crucially, that "non-citizen" includes lawful permanent residents (green-card holders) who aren't the same as people who crossed illegally—so the headline shouldn't be read as proof of illegal-alien ballot harvesting. Ryan fact-checks the specifics in real time: how Social Security numbers actually work for non-citizens (work authorizations, ITINs, fraudulent documents, expired visas), what California's voter-verification process actually requires (signature matching, with a first-time-voter ID exception under federal HAVA law), and the point that documented voter fraud in the US has consistently been shown to be well under 1%. The group works through California's and Minnesota's differing rules, whether signature-matching and vouching systems are genuinely exploitable, and lands on a striking meta-point: three people looking at the exact same facts arrive at very different conclusions, which is itself a lesson in how much of what we call "fact" is filtered through perception. A substantive, disagreement-driven look at election-integrity claims—with the receipts checked on air.ggSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Five longtime friends rented a cabin at the lake for a weekend of fishing, poker, and catching up. The place was secluded, but not remote, and none of them expected anything stranger than a raccoon on the porch or a deer wandering through the trees after dark. Then the noises started.Something moved around the cabin, knocked against the windows, and watched from the edge of the woods. They could explain most of it away as wildlife, and for a while, that was enough. What they could not explain was the voice that came from somewhere near the lake and called Travis by name. All five men heard it.And every one of them agreed that it sounded exactly like Dan, who was sitting inside the cabin with them.#Paranormal #GhostStories #Mimic #MimicVoice #CabinInTheWoods #Unexplained #ParanormalEncounter #CreepyStories #SomethingInTheWoods #HauntedCabin #HauntingsLove real ghost stories?
