With basketball season right around the corner for college and professional teams we brought Pat Boylan on the podcast to talk about Georges NIang and the Indiana Pacers. Boylan works for the Pacers Radio Network and was optimistic about Niang's chances of making the 15 man roster this season for the Pacers. Growing up a Pacers fan Pat was very familiar with another Cyclone great Fred Hoiberg and we discussed the Fred/Geroges relationship and why Hoiberg chose not to draft Niang in the 2nd round of the NBA Draft. After talking Niang and the Pacers, Matthias and Austin (CloneTeach) took time to review the Iowa State basketball media days and give their insights on the rotation, Monte Morris, Nick Babb and other basketball tidbits. Special thanks to former Cyclone Jake McDonough for letting us use the track, "816 Boyz Comin Thru 2" for the intro and outro. Give him a follow on Soundcloud.

Jay and Matthias are BACK for week two of the We Still Booze Podcast and this time they bring in the reinforcements of Josh to help preview the TCU Horned Frogs. The crew tries to take as brief a look as possible at the CyHawk massacre without just completely forgetting that, yes, it actually did happen. They talk about what went wrong offensively, what happened on the blown coverage TD's and what actually looked a little improved from week one against UNI. Then Josh comes along as the conversation switches to the upcoming game against TCU. Jay and Matthias take a look at how Iowa State can contain Kenny 'the thrill' Hill after struggling with Bailey from UNI in week one. Josh provides some insight on the other TCU weapons offensively before taking a look at the vaunted TCU defense that has been stout against the run and a little vulnerable against the pass. Finally the crew makes their predictions as we look forward to Saturday's game! Special shoutout to former Cyclone, Jake McDonough for letting us use his dope track, "816 Boyz Comin Thru 2" for our bumper music. Check him out and give him a follow on Soundcloud at JMacTracks.
