In this week's episode the guys tackle the late-breaking rumors that surround the Google Nexus project and one of its potential devices, the LG Optimus G.  After discussing all the stuff that is slated to go into the changed Nexus initiative, we delve into what we would consider to be minimum requirements for a Nexus device heading into 2013.  Called our 'Nexus Ultimatum", it's our little wish-list of Android goodies. Additional topics include HTC's new flagship/refresh, the One X+, as well as the One XV, and where these new models fit in with the carrier's strategy.  Speaking of which, is AT&T going to capitalize on the strongest smartphone lineup of the year or will they squander a golden opportunity? For the first time in months, the entire gang gets together to form the Android Podcast Voltron.  Topics this week include LG's Optimus G and the problem(s) it might face in the United States, HTC's lack of an Android announcement, and the reason we don't yet have a Droid Incredible X.   Additional subjects on the agenda include the impact that Windows Phone 8 will have on Android and whether HTC needs Microsoft more than the other way around.  We also talk about the Kindle Fire HD, how it fits in the 2012 tablet game, and whether we'd tell mom to buy one.   Of course, we also dig in a bit on the iPhone 5 and how it matters to Android in the short and long terms.   It has been a while since we last got together, what with summer vacations, breaks, real jobs, newborns, and other obligations.  All that's over though and school is back in.  Scott Webster and Nick Gray get together to discuss all the big IFA stuff from August 29, including the Samsung Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Camera as well as four devices from Sony.  First up, though, is a quick primer on the Apple and Samsung patent case.     Later, we forecast what Motorola has on the horizon for a pair of press events in September.  What's more, we put on our magic caps and foretell what Amazon plans to do on September 6.   All this and much more, in AndroidGuys Episode #127
