    I'm so excited to share the second season of my podcast, As I Recall. This season you will hear some familiar voices from the first season as I will be sharing some of my personal memories from college and from childhood. We get to some pretty serious topics that I hope can start conversations and that may even help others in need.     Alex speaks to his father and a few of his fathers friends about the 1977 TV mini series Roots. The discussion is centered around what is was like to go back to high school and junior high as a black boy after watching each episode. The experiences each brother shared was very interesting to say the least. Conversation lead to what is was like growing up in the late 60s and 70s as a black man. We quickly learn that some of those same past experiences are still happening today.
