With Myles Garrett gone, Ken and Anthony break down whether the Browns should look to move Denzel Ward before the trade deadline. The guys debate the emotional loyalty fans still feel toward Denzel versus the cold reality of a rebuild that may only net a second or third round pick in return. Bottom line: no rush to deal him now, but if a contender comes calling with real value at the deadline, that conversation has to happen.

In deze aflevering legt Denzel Aboraa uit hoe Cleanz by dr. Abo ontstond. Ken makes the logical case that trading Myles Garrett was an admission this season is cooked, and if that is true then the hard no on Denzel Ward makes absolutely zero sense because a 29-year-old corner with an injury history is not getting more valuable as the year goes on. Ken genuinely respects everything Denzel has given the organization and points out he is the best corner the Browns have had since 1999, but frames it the same way he eventually came around on the Myles trade: if you can get a second rounder and give him a chance to actually play meaningful football somewhere, that is the right move for everybody. The Joe Thomas comparison hangs over the whole conversation, with Ken admitting the Browns have a habit of keeping great players for their entire careers and then having to ask uncomfortable questions about why they could never get more out of them. Ken closes by saying he actually hopes Andrew Berry is lying when he says hard no on Denzel, because getting another 2027 pick while rewarding a loyal and drama-free player with a shot at the playoffs would be the smart move on every level.

Most HR leaders walk into CFO meetings already losing. Not because they lack the data, but because the work that should have happened months earlier never did.In this episode, AJ Vaughan answers a question from Denzel about what CHROs are actually rehearsing, avoiding, and feeling the night before they sit across from finance. The honest answer: the night before is the wrong place to start.AJ breaks down the pre-work most HR leaders are skipping. The strategic pockets with the CRO. The L &D conversations that never happen. The macro lens on the tech stack, the tools, and the human capability data sitting unused inside the business. The mentorship relationship with revenue leaders could generate six to seven figures if HR actually leaned in.This one is for the HR leader who is tired of being treated like a cost center, and for the CFO who keeps wondering why the people function never speaks their language. What is actually happening inside HR right now? What matters most before you walk into that meeting? What to do tomorrow. And what most HR leaders miss entirely.Listen now.

Full of energy, spunk and true authenticity, Yahya lets his guard down with Ryan, Channing and Fred- revealing a side of deep pain that has led to difficult healing as well as giving us a glimpse into the traits that make him one of film industry's most sought-after leading men. Yahya opens up about his childhood, sharing what it was like growing up from Louisiana to Oakland and how his upbringing and community helped shape his voice, work ethic, and backbone in creativity. He takes us behind the scenes of his unconventional journey into acting—from his aspirations of architecture and building to taking a leap of faith into acting classes and fully committing to the craft. Yahya reflects on the risks he took, the doubts he faced, and the defining moments that pushed him forward, offering insight into the discipline it took to break into a competitive industry. The conversation also dives into his standout roles across major hit projects like Aquaman, The Trial of the Chicago 7, and Watchmen—the latter earning him critical acclaim and an Emmy Award. On the Tuesday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel, host Adam Bittner welcomes Post-Gazette Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo to analyze picks from his final seven-round mock before the 2026 NFL draft begins. Why did Ray go with receiver Denzel Boston as the first-round pick, despite size that overlaps with what DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr. already offer GM Omar Khan and coach Mike McCarthy? Is Keylan Rutledge closing a clear second-round value at guard? Does Treydan Stukes offer the versatility the secondary needs alongside Joey Porter Jr., Jalen Ramsey and Jamel Dean? Why would Antonio Williams be worth double dipping at receiver for? Is 6-foot-9 Travis Burke ideal insurance on Broderick Jones later in the third round? And why is Carson Beck the QB Ray settled on compared to other projected mid round picks like Drew Allar, Cole Payton and Taylen Green? Our duo tackles those questions, then sorts through Ray's Day 3 picks, including TE Marlon Klein, DL Darrell Jackson Jr., LB Jack Kelly and LB Nadame Tucker. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Inside Man is a clever heist film with the twist staring you in the face from the beginning. It's also the first Spike Lee or Jodie Foster film to be reviewed on Have You Ever Seen in quite some time. Foster and Denzel Washington's scenes together are fantastic. The 2 of them, plus Clive Owen, Christopher Plummer, Willem Dafoe and Chiwetel Ejiofor deliver. Ironically, though, for a film with such intensity for 2 straight hours, the actors are generally calm. Well, Denzel is showboating, but he's Denzel. You can't reign in that charisma machine. “It's not about the money.” Join Ian & Megs for our 324th episode as we step into the perfectly constructed, quietly audacious bank heist of Spike Lee's Inside Man (2006). Clocks are ticking, identities are shifting, and nothing is quite what it seems as we try to work out who's really in control… and who never was. This week we discuss: Denzel Washington as Detective Frazier — cool, controlled, and always just one step behind. Is this one of Denzel's most understated performances? Clive Owen's Dalton Russell — precise, patient, and almost philosophical. Is he a villain, a hero, or something far more interesting? Also, is he more than just a poor man's Gerard Butler? Jodie Foster's power broker — calculated, composed, and operating on a completely different level of influence. Do we forgive her more easily because of her gender? The structure of the heist — meticulous, layered, and deliberately misleading. How does the film hide its intentions in plain sight? Megs explores the film's themes of power and privilege — what's really being stolen, and who actually gets away with it. Ian breaks down Spike Lee's direction and cinematography — style, pacing, and how he injects social commentary into a genre film without slowing it down. The use of misdirection — costumes, timelines, and narrative sleight of hand. When does the audience realise they've been played? The “show vs tell” balance — how much does the film explain, and how much does it trust the audience to catch up? The ending reveal — clever, satisfying, or just slightly too neat? Does the film even know what the ending of its own plot is? Are we satisfied with how it ended and what would be the danger of making it more explicit? The moral question — is justice served, or simply… redirected? And finally, whether Inside Man is the Best Film Ever — or one of the smartest, most rewatchable heist films of the 21st century. Devil in a Blue Dress (1995): Denzel Washington's most underrated performance. Directed by Carl Franklin, based on Walter Mosley's novel. Easy Rawlins, a Black WWII veteran in 1948 Los Angeles, takes a job finding a missing white woman. Simple task becomes a labyrinth of violence, corruption, and impossible choices. This week on Black on Black Cinema, we look back on one of Denzel's lesser known classics. This should have launched a franchise. Walter Mosley wrote 14 Easy Rawlins books. Denzel was perfect in the role. Don Cheadle's Mouse was a scene stealer. Carl Franklin's direction was a excellent visual take on the times and brought the book to life. Why it matters: Denzel plays Easy as morally complex—not hero, not villain, just a Black man trying to survive. Don Cheadle's breakout as Mouse (chaotic, violent, loyal). Carl Franklin directs through the Black gaze. 1948 LA shown as a minefield for Black veterans. Themes: survival in immoral systems, respectability politics, racial passing. This is a forgotten masterpiece. We break down why Devil in a Blue Dress deserves reconsideration.New episodes every other week.Subscribe: Spreaker, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube#DevilInABlueDress #DenzelWashingtonBlack on Black Cinema is a long-running podcast featuring in-depth Black movie reviews and frank conversations that matter to the Black community. Next week on Black on Black Cinema, we're reviewing Devil in a Blue Dress (1995), starring Denzel Washington in one of his most underrated performances. This Carl Franklin neo-noir follows Easy Rawlins navigating 1940s Los Angeles—a Black veteran trying to survive in a world designed to destroy him.But first, we need to talk about something: watching the Iran war unfold from inside the United States feels surreal. We're living through what might be the moral collapse of American foreign policy in real time, and the cognitive dissonance is overwhelming. How do you review films about justice and survival when your country is manufacturing catastrophe overseas?

— Welcome to A quest Of Well-Being podcast where we explore the intricate connections between our minds, bodies, and the food we eat. In today's episode, we're diving into the transformative insights from Galina Denzel's powerful book, Peace with Self, Peace with Food: A Trauma Healing Approach for Emotional Eating. With the right tools and awareness, we can create lasting change and find peace within ourselves—both mentally and physically. So grab your favorite cup of tea, settle in, and join us as we unpack the wisdom of Peace with Self, Peace with Food and discover how to nourish our bodies and souls. Valeria interviews Galina Denzel — She is the author of "Peace with Self, Peace with Food: A Trauma Healing Approach for Emotional Eating." Galina is also the creator of the Peace with Food Transformation Group method, an intensive small group program that helps people resolve emotional eating by working directly with the body and the nervous system imprints from the past. For 25 years, Galina battled her own complex relationship with food, trying every diet, nutrition plan, and therapeutic approach available - nothing worked. It wasn't until her training as a somatic practitioner working with trauma that she experienced an unexpected shift. Through learning to care for her nervous system, her decades-long food struggles dissolved. This led her to create a method that addresses the neurobiological roots of emotional eating rather than just the behaviors on the surface. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), NeuroAffective Relational Model Practitioner (NARM-P), and Somatic Practice Practitioner, Galina combines somatic exploration, movement, breath, art, and the power of human connection to help people come home to themselves. Based in Colorado, Galina teaches workshops, leads small transformation groups and retreats, and has worked with thousands of students worldwide. Her approach is grounded in compassion, neuroscience, and the deep belief that our bodies already know how to heal - they just need the right support.
