Our guest Michele Johnson Michele is a certified Family Medicine Physician Assistant and has been a Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain patient herself for many years. She has found her personal way mastering this challenging condition and made it her mission to help people facing similar conditions. Michele vividly describes her journey living with Fibromyalgia and daily pain, from the experience to find out that "pain is perceived not valid" - for there is no lab test - to the denial of her disability claim and to how she finally embarked from there to help herself and help others. Her own example and her message that "you can live a full life despite chronic pain" is full of encouragement to anyone facing similar challenges in life. Our guest Alberto Crane is an American Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Pioneer and World Champion. In the interview Alberto shares the significant moment when he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and how his mindset helped him to move ahead from there. When the physician presented him a stack of drug books and merely asked to choose one of the medication options, he refrained surrendering to fate but instead used mind, awareness and centering to embark on his journey of self healing.
