Changing the cannabis conversation in Atlantic Canada
Since October 17th, Cannabis producers across the country have been flat out, trying to meet the overwhelming demand that legalization has brought on. Many cannabis stores have experienced closures because of a lack of product. It means around the clock production and packaging for many companies in Atlantic Canada. It also means retailers are scrambling to find product. In this episode of Blunt Talk, I find out about initial sales and difficulties sourcing product with the director of Cannabis Operations in Prince Edward Island. Gardening expert Jenny Scott joins us for part two of our conversation on how to grow cannabis properly. This week we get harvesting tips. But first, we talk production schedules and border crossings with the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Breathing Green Solutions, when Joe Sanford joins the conversation.
In this episode, Theresa Blackburn talks with gardening expert Jenny Scott from Scott's Nursery and gets tips for gardeners thinking about expanding their green thumb experience. Theresa also chats with the Chief Administrative Officer of the smallest New Brunswick community to get a Cannabis NB outlet.
We're back for another season! In this episode, we talk with a cannabis producer about the lead up to legalization, we chat with a government official on the readiness of Nova Scotia's stores, and we sit down with some high school students to find out how they are feeling about October 17th, and the government's plans to deter minors from consuming cannabis.
In this episode, we talk with the New Brunswick Minister of Health about medical marijuana, we discuss the challenges of marketing with Organigram's Chief Commercial Officer, we look at cannabis terminolgy in Doobies for Newbies, and we get the latest cannabis news from around the region.
