Wayne Collins was murdered in the parking lot of Buick City on the night of Reagan’s 1984 re-election. His daughter, Elena, time-travels from 2018 to find and stop the murderer. Wayne and Bud open .45 & Dime, a store that sells books, records, and guns. Elena reveals to her brother Skip that she’s a time-traveler from the future and is here to try to prevent the murder of their father. Tammy catches Wayne out with her sister, Joy, at a Coney Island.

Elena interviews Wayne for The Flint Voice. Tammy suspects that Wayne is having an affair with her sister, Joy. Gordon buys a gun. Tammy and Elena discuss Ferraro’s election prospects while target shooting. A man, looking for Bud, comes into .45 & Dime and threatens Wayne.

The Final Episode. Elena and Skip go on a stakeout. Wayne accuses Bud of stealing money from their shop. Elena and Tammy shop at the Genesee Valley Mall. Gordon accuses Joy of having an affair. Elena hides in Wayne’s car on election night to catch the killer.
