On this weeks episode of the Charlie Charlie One Podcast I sit down with the man who has the responsibility of growing and guiding our charity and seeing that we always improvise, adapt and overcome any challenges that stand in our way to ensure we’re always primed and ready to help any member of the Royal Marines Family that find themselves in a time of need, our very own CEO Mr Johnathan Ball. Sometimes with these Podcasts there’s no real agenda, we just want to get interesting guests on who can tell a good story and on occasion offer some words of wisdom and advice. Today’s guest Scott Booth is a former Royal Marine who has experienced a lot of the same highs and lows as many other RM’s before him, what I took away from our chat is that actually when transitioning into civvy street all of those emotions and feelings you experience are perfectly normal and personally I think it’s very comforting to hear that from someone else who’s already been through it. Make sure you stay tuned through to the end with this one as Scott has a very quirky story to finish up with.
In today's episode we welcome back our Employment & Education Manager, Becci Parriss to talk about a subject that isn't particularly cheery, but is something during this time that we all may have to consider and take seriously and that's preparing for the possibility of unemployment. As always Becci is full of sage advice to help and guide our listeners and is always contactable should you have any questions or need any support: b.parriss@rma-trmc.org
