Das Podstock-Festival selbst ist dabei längst zu einer Institution geworden, die ihresgleichen sucht. Über die Jahre hat sich hier eine eingeschworene Gemeinschaft aus Podcastern, Hörern und Technik-Enthusiasten entwickelt, die mehr an eine große Familie als an ein klassisches Festival erinnert. Wer zum ersten Mal das Gelände betritt, fühlt sich sofort willkommen – keine Spur von Berührungsängsten oder Grüppchenbildung. Die perfekte technische Ausstattung und die reibungslose Organisation zeigen dabei: Hier sind echte Profis am Werk, die wissen, was sie tun. Zwei Herren, die sich schlicht „Esel und Teddy" nennen und offenbar seit sage und schreibe 17 Jahren einen Podcast produzieren, feierten ihre Live-Premiere. Was folgte, war eine Art intellektuelles Süßigkeiten-Roulette der besonderen Art. Mit der Verspieltheit von Kindergartenkindern und dem Perfektionismus eines Seifenblasenkünstlers präsentierten sie dem Publikum die 750. Folgen diverser Serien bzw. die 750. Minute aus Filmreihen. Das Konzept klingt abstrus – und war es auch. Doch erstaunlicherweise entwickelte sich daraus ein regelrechter Wettkampf im Publikum. Erwachsene Menschen sprangen von ihren Sitzen, um Gummibärchen zu ergattern, als wären es Goldbarren. Als ich die beiden nach der Show fragte, warum die Aufnahme erst in zwei Monaten in ihrem Podcast erscheinen wird, lächelten sie nur verschmitzt. Vermutlich ist dies Teil ihrer enigmatischen Kunst, die sie seit 17 Jahren perfektioniert haben. Schon jetzt bin ich gespannt, unter welchem Titel sie diese skurille Folge veröffentlichen werden. Was bleibt, ist die Erkenntnis: In der Podcast-Landschaft gibt es noch Überraschungen zu entdecken. Auch wenn man sich manchmal fragt: Wer kommt auf solche Ideen? Und wichtiger noch: Warum funktionieren sie? Fazit: Ein Abend zwischen kultiviertem Wahnsinn und präzise durchdachter Unterhaltung. Die Haribo-Aktie dürfte steigen.
