We've had a few weeks off, but we're back with the penultimate episode of the season and we're talking about The Big Lunch, which happened over the first weekend in June. Jack and Stevie take time to talk to our Country Development Managers in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, to see just how much of a hit it was this year.

It's amazing what can connect a community. In this episode we speak to two people who've used fermented ketchup and Halloween parties (amongst other things) to bring their communities closer together.

Loneliness can affect us all, whatever our age and for any number of reasons, so why are we all still so afraid to admit we get lonely from time to time? This week we talk to Tracey Robbins and Laura Graham about why this is still a sensitive issue for so many and how we can overcome to it.

This week sees The Big Lunch community walk draw to a close, so host Jack French is joined by the show's producer Stevie Green to talk through the high points of the 2019 campaign. We also hear from current and former walkers Carole Wright and Jude Boutle.

For the first episode of the series, we meet with Peter Stewart, the driving force behind The Big Lunch. He talks us through his ambitions for the year, what to do when you're planning your own Big Lunch and what closing The Eden Project on June 2nd means for the company.
