A tribute to the sounds from the backroom where the only thing dirtier than the floor were the basslines. Deep, gritty, house with a touch of tech. It's not perfect; a few of the mixes get away from me on the second half but overall I'm really happy with this. Sit back, find some good head phones, turn it up loud and enjoy the ride...
A tribute to the deep, driving sounds of the back room. This is a re-edit of the back room set posted back in March. set list available if there's interest. Let me know.
First installment of an all vinyl series, this set was put together to showcase a range of styles. It's begins with a funky groove, turns a little moody, breaks for a bit and finish out with some solid bangers. It's not perfect. You'll hear me make mistakes and the sound quality could be better but I think it's fun! And that's the point. Thanks for taking the time to listen! Please let me know what you think. I'll post the track list if there is any interest :)
We're back! After scheduling conflicts and you know, reasons, we are a bit off our schedule... but not any more! On this episode, we all share our experiences discovering the Internet and online culture. Also, watch your pets if you live near Austin. You've been warned.
Zeff, director of local non-profit, Comicare, joins us to talk about their charity organization, sharing comic books with kids, and the impact on everyone involved.
Author Ryan Dalton sits down with us to talk about working with Phoenix Comicon, the writing process, and selling his first young adult novel series. A quick note and apology for the sound quality of this episode. There were technical difficulties (read human error) with the recording and it turned out our conversation was recorded from the wrong input source.
