For years one space online has represented a hub of Muppets information, news, opinions, and fun content, and it's called ToughPigs.com, so it only made sense to enlist two of its key figures for a tribute episode to the 30th anniversary of one of the Muppets' classic parodies: Muppet Treasure Island. Setting sail with host Brett Nachman are Joe Hennes, ToughPigs Co-Owner & Editor-in-Chief / Executive Producer of the Muppet Fan Podcasts with ToughPigs.com channel, as well as Ryan Roe, ToughPigs Co-Owner, Head Writer, and Co-Host, Editor, and Producer of the Movin' Right Along podcast. Check out all of the ToughPigs content, including articles and podcasts, on their website. You can follow ToughPigs on BlueSky, Instagram (@ToughPigs), TikTok (@ToughPigs), and YouTube. It's Monday, so we kick off the week with Good Vibes! Bill and his son Drew recap their weekend at a Michael Jackson tribute concert, while Mackenzie shares how her big move went. Ohio's Tax-Free Weekend is almost here, but Bill says this year's version isn't much of a deal. Plus, Alyssa's College of Knowledge, another round of the Match Game for Geauga County Fair tickets, stories of coworkers taking pettiness to a whole new level, and the unusual item Alyssa spotted at Aldi that she can't believe they have for sale.

This week has been a whirlwind! We officially signed for our new home, and while we're incredibly excited, the timing couldn't be busier. Before we can even move in, we've got painters giving the house a fresh look and contractors replacing the flooring. It's exciting to know we'll be starting this new chapter with a home that already feels a little more like ours. Our two oldest daughters are headed off to summer cheer camp at Great Wolf Lodge as mascots for their school. It's a little bittersweet because Great Wolf Lodge is somewhere I've always wanted to take them as a family, and now they'll get to experience it without me. At the same time, I'm genuinely so happy they're getting this opportunity. While the big girls are away, the little ones will be staying behind with us, and we're hoping to knock out the majority of the move. It got me thinking... wouldn't it be amazing if moms could just leave for a few days and come home to find everything magically packed, moved, unpacked, and organized? A girl can dream!I also talk about our new home and one feature my water-loving kids are already cashing in on: the pool and hot tub. I know they'll spend as much time as possible out there once we're settled, and I can't wait to see how happy they are. With school starting in just a couple of weeks, the clock is definitely ticking. Between coordinating contractors, packing boxes, moving our family, and getting everyone ready for a new school year, these next few days are going to be busy. Our goal is to get into the new house with enough time to settle in, establish our routines, and actually get some sleep before the first day of school.Join me as I share the excitement, the wild ride, and all the emotions that come with another big family move and why this one feels like the start of something really special.

TVC 740.5: Part 2 of a conversation that began last week with Barry Weitz, co-creator and co-executive producer of Movin' On (NBC, 1974-1976), and Kathy Bird, author of Sundance Turns Fifty: The Amazing Legacy of Movin' On, a fun new book that not only takes you behind the scenes of the production of Movin' On, but introduces you to many of the people who are responsible for keeping the show alive today. Sundance Turns Fifty is available in paperback and as an eBook through Amazon.com. Proceeds from sales of the book will help support the efforts of the Duke Cancer Research Institute in Durham, North Carolina. Topics this segment include how production of Movin' On was as close to the quality of a feature motion picture as you could get on network TV at the time; how the Movin' On museum came to be; and why the series meant a lot to the childhood of many male viewers.
TVC 740.6: Barry Weitz, co-creator and co-executive producer of Movin' On, and Kathy Bird, author of Sundance Turns Fifty: The Amazing Legacy of Movin' On, discuss the circumstances that resulted in NBC canceling Movin' On at the end of its second season, and how the NBC programming executive who made that decision, Marvin Antonowsky, got his comeuppance in a very public way. Sundance Turns Fifty is available in paperback and as an eBook through Amazon.com.
Where were you, when we did our Movie Reviews #62?! Right here apparently.Sorry that's the tag line for American Graffiti in case everyone didn't get it. Movin on, 8 movies today 1.(Traffic 1971) Here we have a film by the Famous French director Jacques Tati. I guess Jaques did some amazing and ground breaking films in the 40's 50's and 60's, annnnd then there's this one about people goin on a road trip to promote a vehicle that can do it all, I think, memory is foggy. 2.(The Front Page 1974) Walter Matthau, Jack Lemmon, Carol Burnett, and the guy who works for Doc Hopper in the muppet movie star in yet another movie based off of a play. 3.(A Very Natural Thing 1974) This is not a documentary about the early gay liberation front movement in the early 70's, but it is close. Movie has real protest and Pride footage, and you can basically see the meetings and discussions that took place to create the narrative that we see on the screen. Amazing film unburied after all these years. 4. (Between the Lines 1977) Here Jeff Gollum is young and on speed or something. Film takes us through some time with a radical newspaper as it is about to be bought by a major label, can these rads keep their street credit, and will Jeff take a well needed nap. 5. (A Bridge too Far 1977) Oh Mylanta they chucked a lot of dough on the screen, it's like 300 extras parachuting at the same time oh my. We all liked this war movie very much but this is NOT based off of a play, but based off of a war!Almost every male actor working at the time appears in this for at least 30 seconds. 6. (The Hobbit 1977) Don't think you need 7 hours of a blurry cgi mess to tell us what this tells us all. Hobbits are the shit! Love your home, protect your home. Love your friends, protect your friends, AND that war is flipping Stupid and gross! 7. (The Special Olympics 1978) You tube copy of this is astoundingly unwatchable, listen and we'll tell you all about it. It is a shame and should be fixed, because this film is quite worthy of being seen, and not just for Charles Durning fans like us. 8. (Sooner or later 1979) Terrible ending to what I thought was a very charming and campy coming of age film. Gross pervy studio executive strikes again I think. Michael Skye band though! as always thanks film fans!
TVC 739.4: Ed welcomes Barry Weitz, co-creator and co-executive producer of Movin' On (NBC, 1974-1976), the classic TV series starring Claude Akins and Frank Converse as independent truck drivers that, in many ways, was a modern-day Western, and Kathy Bird, author of Sundance Turns Fifty: The Amazing Legacy of Movin' On, a fun new book that not only takes you behind the scenes of the production of Movin' On, but introduces you to many of the people who are responsible for keeping the show alive today. Sundance Turns Fifty is available in paperback and as an eBook through Amazon.com. Proceeds from sales of the book will help support the efforts of the Duke Cancer Research Institute in Durham, North Carolina. Topics this segment include how Barry came up with the concept for Movin' On; how the show's move to an 8pm time slot in the second season not only introduced the series to younger viewers, but paved the way for the resurgence of interest in Movin' On that continues to this day; how Barry came to cast Frank Converse and Claude Akins; and how Movin' On inspired many viewers to become truck drivers themselves.
TVC 739.5: Barry Weitz, co-creator and co-executive producer of Movin' On, and Kathy Bird, author of Sundance Turns Fifty: The Amazing Legacy of Movin' On, talk to Ed about how Movin' On was an unusual series not only because it was filmed entirely on location in different states throughout the continental U.S., but also insofar as Barry's production team scouted the locations first, then wrote each episode based on that location. This segment also includes a discussion of some of the notable guest stars on the series, including Michael J. Pollard, John Ritter, and Samuel L. Jackson. Sundance Turns Fifty is available in paperback and as an eBook through Amazon.com.
Midwestern states are important markets for natural gas producers in the Marcellus/Utica, as are states in the Mid-South, like Kentucky and Tennessee, and states in the Deep South. But expanding gas sales in those markets will require a lot more pipeline capacity, and that's exactly what's in the works.
TVC 739.6: Barry Weitz, co-creator and co-executive producer of Movin' On, and Kathy Bird, author of Sundance Turns Fifty: The Amazing Legacy of Movin' On, talk to Ed about how it would be impossible to make Movin' On today in the same way that Barry and his production partner, Phil D'Antoni, made the series when they produced it together in the mid 1970s. Also in this segment: Barry shares an anecdote about "Good for Laughs," the first-season episode, filmed in Oregon, that features Frank Gorshin and Jonathan Goldsmith. Sundance Turns Fifty is available in paperback and as an eBook through Amazon.com.

In today’s newscast, you’ll hear Rick Seraphinoff, a local man who builds period-accurate reproductions of horns from hundreds of years ago. Head inside his workshop later in the show in a feature report. Also coming up in the next half hour, “Movin' But Not …
Rising demand for natural gas in the U.S. Northeast and regions to its south and west is spurring the development of gas pipeline projects that collectively will enable Marcellus/Utica E&Ps to ratchet up their production into the 2030s. In today's RBN blog, we continue our review of these projects.
The Marcellus/Utica still has vast amounts of natural gas to supply the ongoing surge in demand from power generators and LNG exporters. But there's a catch: A significant step-up in Appalachian production can only occur if new pipeline infrastructure is built to transport that gas to where it's needed.

Complex released their 2026 Hip Hop Media Power Rankings List, and the guys react to their ranking, the rankings of their peers, and who missed the cut. Stefon Diggs’ trial wrapped up, as he was found not guilty of assault on his chef, which sparks a discussion on hiring a baddie to be your personal chef. Baby D and Mal discuss the pros and cons of dating a pilot, the guys give some advice to a listener who’s trying to put together the perfect birthing playlist for his girl, and we wrap with a heated debate over bathroom routines.
