What I have learned in the last few weeks of trying to motivate myself to clean and declutter. I am slowly working my way to a new and better (for me) cleaning schedule and along the way I am learning time saving hacks that are making a huge difference for me and hopefully will help you too!
The cleaning routines that have worked for me in the past are no longer working well. This episode is about my struggles with frustration finding what works for others does not work for me and where I am right now.
This week I had a super horrible day. It reminded me how important it is to lead by example and take responsibility for my words and actions in front of my son. Even though he is a toddler, I feel like he deserves an apology when I don't handle things as well as I would like to.
This episode was going to be about our families decision on how to handle Halloween this year, given the current situation. It then morphed into my thoughts on the upcoming Holiday Season and setting expectations on how we are going to be handling Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is so important when dealing with extended family to be clear and direct in setting expectations, especially if you have different view points on the significance of a certain holiday or if you're handling the pandemic in different ways.
