So, let's get into episode 1: My wife, Michelle, and I met Ros Runciman in 2005 when I was hired by Ten News in Sydney Australia to cover a story in her region. Ros, who lives in Main Creek which is approximately 15 minutes out of Dungog, New South Wales, had discovered a rare glowing fungi along the creek banks in a nearby Rainforest. Unfortunately when we got there, the fungi wasn't performing, but we forged a long-time friendship with Ros and her husband, Kev, who happened to own and operate Yeranda at Barrington Tops, three self-contained stone and timber cottages rented out to guests to stay in and enjoy the very beautiful, remote surrounds.
