In this episode, we are talking a walk into the woods with ukulelist Tobias Elof. He is so far the only musician to study this tiny four-stringed instrument and he is currently living in Copenhagen, but has been all over the world with his "Nordic 'ukulele style". There will be a lot of cozy talking in the first half of the show and lot of "live-unplugged-in-the-woods" ukulele playing in the second part. Enjoy! In this episode of Out in the North, we're visiting the Golden Days Festival in Copenhagen. The festival has a lot of different types of events during the early fall and this year the theme of the whole festival was: "Cultural Heritage". We decided to meet up with the Faroese singer-songwriter Teitur Lassen and his good friend and film-maker Kristian Sønderby, at an event called: "Going back with Teitur" as in back to the Faroe Islands. We're discussing their latest interactive project "Story Music" and how the music business might have changed in a more interactive way both regarding albums and live concerts. We're tasting perhaps the world's best fish soup, local Faroese liquor and beer while enjoying the North Atlantic vibes, in the heart of the Danish capital.
