Did I ever mention that my mom is my spiritual rock? She's the most praying woman I know, and I'm very blessed to have her continuous prayers over my life. This Christmas Season we visited many masses, this was one of them.

Yvon heads the United Nations Association of San Diego's Young Professionals, and this time had a chance to sit and speak with Iryna Yarmolenko of Zhytomyr in the Ukraine. Iryna's pursued two issues with passion: gender equality and environmental protection. Enjoy the talk, and remember; you need the UN in the world, and the UN needs you to stand up for the things you believe in.

Yvon & one of her close friends that's still hanging around since college roamed around the city of Lisbon, discovering new places and delicious food. Made new friends over happy hour and a great chat.
