Stop The Leaks: How To Increase Cash Flow Without Seeing More Patients

If you've ever looked at your schedule and thought, “We're slammed…so why is my bank account not moving?” — this episode is going to feel like oxygen. In this PPS 2025 recap conversation, Jerry Durham sits down with Nathan Shields, founder of the Private Practice Owners Club, to break down the real reasons clinics bleed profit — and why the solution isn't more new patients. Across this episode, Nathan pulls back the curtain on the cash-flow killers hiding inside most clinics: weak collections, underperforming billing systems, inconsistent documentation, and a front desk that's unsupported (not unskilled). He also explains why AI won't fix broken processes — and why owners who skip the fundamentals end up scaling their problems, not their profit. In this episode you'll learn:The four internal “leaks” that cost clinics $100K–$300K per year — and how to close them fast. Why chasing more new patients is the wrong move when your systems are broken. The exact numbers every owner must know (and what they actually mean). How to tighten front-desk operations so patients arrive, pay, and stay. Why underbilling — not overbilling — is silently draining your margins. How AI can support your systems… but can't save you from bad processes. What PPS 2025 revealed about the future of private practice — and what owners need to fix BEFORE adding tech, growth, or new services. What you'll walk away with:A Cash-Flow Leak Audit you can run in 30 minutes.A simple 4-phase roadmap to increase revenue without increasing visits.Clarity on the 3–5 KPIs that actually drive your business (and which ones don't matter).Scripts for improving front-desk collections and reducing cancellations.A new lens for evaluating tech, platforms, and AI — so you stop wasting money and start moving the needle.

Durven dromen, plannen, investeren. In een gloednieuw Institute for Advanced Materials and Metrology (IAMM) moeten ‘A.I., materialenwetenschap en metrologie in één geïntegreerde omgeving worden samengebracht’, schrijft hij. How much money does it take to “fully fund” Oregon's public schools? Last month a Joint Committee of the Oregon legislature released a “Report on the Adequacy of Public Education Appropriations.” Oregon's Fiscal and Policy Research offices examined the level of funding provided by the Legislature and other sources for public schools. They concluded that public schools today receive the full $13.5 billion recommended by the Education Commission in 2024 to “fully fund schools.” That means the Legislature appropriated $11.3 billion and the Corporate Activities Tax came in at another $2.2 billion. According to the Oregonian's analysis, advocates for public school funding, like PPS board member Christy Splitt, dismiss the expert report and opines that school funding is “not enough.” She complains the report's conclusion is the result of a “political narrative.”However, the facts remain that school funding has increased over the years while academic outcomes and the student population have declined. Lawmakers have asked for accountability on how schools are using state dollars, only to see plummeting national scores of about 25-percent proficiency in reading and math for today's eighth graders.Maybe more money is never enough because money is not the problem – or the solution – to Oregon's education. At Cascade, we believe options in education would make better use of funding and allow parents a greater say in choosing the school -- public, private or charter -- that meets their child's learning needs.Read the full commentary at www.cascadepolicy.org

On December 2, Portland Public Schools board voted unanimously to purchase the One North commercial building for $16 million to house the Center for Black Student Excellence, but the building's purchase price is only the beginning. The building needs another $20 to $25 million in renovations and two to three years of construction. For the next three years PPS will own an expensive, mostly empty shell. While fostering student excellence should be the district's priority, this plan is fiscally reckless and logistically flawed. In November, Cascade submitted an Analysis to the PPS Facilities Committee enumerating the risks associated with the One North purchase. The Oregonian editorial board repeated some of Cascade's concerns.Portland Public Schools faces a $50 million budget shortfall, yet they've committed to purchasing property with operational deficits for an undefined program. When board members questioned this gap—money that could fund teachers or educational assistants—proponents dismissed concerns. One called it a “drop in the bucket.” Another complained that such questioning “doesn't feel very fair.” For taxpayers facing cuts, such resistance to basic financial scrutiny is unacceptable. There is a better solution: to integrate the center into Jefferson High School's construction. This eliminates costly conversions, cuts delays, and saves tens of millions of dollars. The board has a mandate to spend $60 million on Black student excellence. It doesn't have a mandate to spend it foolishly.Read the full commentary at www.cascadepolicy.org

In this episode of What's Best For The Patient Is Best For The Business, Jerry sits down with CJ, founder of CJM Strategic Consulting, for a deep dive into the intersection of AI, technology, and physical therapy practice.Recording in late November 2025, fresh off PPS (which looked more like a tech conference than ever before), this conversation tackles the most pressing questions facing PTs today: Where does AI fit? What's our role? And how do we become architects of the future rather than replaceable cogs in the system?CJ brings a unique perspective—starting her career at Johnson & Johnson in quality engineering and operations, then transitioning to PT, working through digital health at Hinge Health, and now consulting with healthcare tech startups. She's seen both sides: the promise of technology and the reality of implementation without clinical empathy. This isn't a conversation about AI taking jobs. It's about PTs stepping up to train the systems, becoming context experts rather than task experts, and recognizing that in November 2025, AI needs us more than we need it. From ambient listening technology to benefit verification to documentation, Jerry and CJ explore why reviewing AI outputs isn't busywork—it's building the architecture for the entire profession's future.Key topics include: the human-in-the-loop vs. human-on-the-loop distinction, why documentation quality matters more than ever, how to add value to AI platforms, the risk of automation bias and deskilling, why coordination beats siloed care, and how one team member got a massive raise by managing their AI model effectively. If you're wondering where you fit in this tech-enabled future, this conversation will give you clarity—and a call to action.Key Takeaways- AI Needs Us More Than We Need It (November 2025): Right now, AI systems need expert clinicians to train them, correct them, and build the architecture for future improvements. This is our opportunity to shape these tools rather than let them shape us—but that window won't last forever.- You're Not Reviewing Notes—You're Building Systems: When you review AI-generated documentation, you're not just checking for accuracy. You're teaching the system what matters, how to think like a PT, and creating the foundation for better care delivery across the entire profession.- From Task Expert to Context Expert: The future of PT isn't about getting faster at individual tasks—it's about becoming context experts who understand the bigger picture. This shift from fragmented task completion to systems thinking is what will separate thriving practices from struggling ones.- Documentation Will Finally Reflect Reality: For decades, we've documented to get paid, not to show our value. Ambient listening and AI documentation tools are changing that—capturing education, clinical decision-making, and the full scope of what we do. This will change billing patterns and prove our worth.- Reskilling Is Really Re-Evaluating: You don't need to learn entirely new skills—you need to re-evaluate how you apply your existing expertise. The electrician doesn't become a mason; they become a systems architect who understands how electrical work fits into the whole building.- Embrace the Stairs in the Age of Escalators: Technology offers automation, but we must actively choose to maintain our clinical reasoning skills. Just as we tell patients to take the stairs for physical health, we must "take the stairs" mentally—continuing to think critically even when AI offers easier paths. This week, Cascade's president, John Charles, testified at Portland Public Schools' Bond Accountability Committee. He commended BAC's work reviewing this year's $2 billion Portland school bond and agreed with their assessment that building three large high schools when enrollment is declining is a mistake. He asked BAC to “Speak directly to the taxpayers who will have to pay hundreds of millions in unnecessary construction costs.”When Portland Public Schools passed the largest bond in state history, to build the nation's most expensive high schools, the measure required oversight by a citizen committee. When the BAC reported on the bond, they expressed concern about “building such large schools…given declining enrollment and decreasing birth rates.”Their advice at the October meeting was ignored, and the Board voted to move ahead with plans to overbuild three high schools by several thousand seats. In a not-so-distant fiscal crisis, journalists will ask the school board, “What did you know and when did you know it?”They'll be forced to admit they ignored the warnings of oversight committees and citizen research groups like Cascade. PPS board members have breached their fiduciary duty and act as though there will be no consequences. Dear BAC – please tell the taxpayers.Read the full commentary at Dear PPS Bond Committee: Please Tell the Taxpayers - Cascade Policy Institute

Last week, Cascade's President, John Charles, emailed a Memo to the Portland Public School Board urging them to consider the Bond Accountability Committee's concerns about overbuilding high schools. Their report concluded by stating that, “…the district should not be building such large high schools when there is not the student body to justify it. Given declining enrollment and decreasing birth rates this issue is even more pronounced given the project budget issues."Willamette Week also cited the statement, raising alarm about the Board's failure to use demographic and enrollment data in sizing future high schools. Nonetheless, the PPS Board voted to move ahead as planned while Chairman Wang argued that size reduction is "unfair" and failing to explain how empty buildings will better serve students.By 2033 Portland will have at least 3,000 empty high school desks. Even now, talks of school consolidation are ongoing. Do Portland taxpayers want to spend $1 billion on expensive and empty classrooms? On the flip side, Beaverton High School has chosen better, building a high school for 1,500 students with the option to replace a building if enrollment goes up.PPS should design real high schools for real students and expand later if necessary. By ignoring the Committee's due diligence and moving ahead with over-sized and over-priced schools, they will accelerate the district's slide into the fiscal crisis they already face. Portland taxpayers and students will ultimately pay the price.Read more at www.cascadepolicy.org

The Portland Public Schools Board is considering the purchase of an 80,000 square foot building to house the “Center for Black Student Excellence.” This triggered a 90-day due diligence review with a final vote in December on whether to purchase the commercial building. While the committee so far has reviewed the building's merits, they haven't asked the hard questions. First is the fact that the One North building will not be used as a school, but as a community center and a hub for organizations who “advance a culture of black excellence.” However, PPS is a school district whose primary mission is classroom education. They've never operated a community center with classroom dollars and buying a commercial building for non-school programming will be hard to justify.A second question is the legal one. Supreme Court rulings have made it clear that race-based programs in public education violate Civil Rights laws. Is the District Board willing to risk federal revenue for a non-school, race-based program? While buying the One North building is a bad idea for a tax-supported school district, it doesn't mean it's a bad idea. Many private organizations serve minority youth with experienced staff and robust programming. The Center would be an imaginative project for them to sponsor. The Center for Black Student Excellence should be a private venture. One great fit could be the 1803 Fund, established by Rukaiyah Adams, who first cast the vision for the Center five years ago. Ms. Adams could use this opportunity to launch the vision without the legal restrictions and challenges sure to arise for a tax-entity like Portland Public Schools.

The Portland Public School board is set to approve the sale for the “One North Building” as a home for the “Center for Black Student Excellence.” The District is prepared to spend $16 million from the 2020 construction bond. Yet, they've never explained how the Center will operate or who it will serve. The name of the Center implies it will serve Black students, but the staff report claims it will be open to everyone. If true, it should be called the Center for Student Excellence.PPS serves about 44-thousand students over 150 square miles, so how will those students travel to the Center before or after school? The building has 10 parking spaces and isn't zoned for buses. The staff report also states “student use will be limited.” If so, why purchase a new building with new operating costs? The district already has too many schools while enrollment is in decline.Learning takes place everywhere in the district. Spending millions on a new building is unlikely to have a real effect on academic achievement.Perhaps while evaluating the building, the Board can re-evaluate the Center's vision with a goal to bring student excellence into every school and tailoring experiences to students from different ethnic backgrounds. Maybe investing in Centers for Student Excellence wouldn't require a new building at all.

EYE ON NPI - Diodes Inc's AP3377 series USB PD3.1 Sink Controllers

This week's EYE ON NPI will extend your power supply options, it's Diodes Inc's AP3377 series USB PD3.1 Sink Controllers (https://www.digikey.com/en/product-highlight/d/diodes/ap3377-usb-sink-controllers) a pair of chips that take the USB Type Power Delivery Sink specification to new highs with extended voltage ranges and two methods of configuration: the AP33772S (https://www.digikey.com/short/59d9mbvm) has I2C control interface while the AP33771C (https://www.digikey.com/short/022nd0fp) has two resistors to set the voltage and current limit. We've covered USB Power delivery sink controllers on EYE ON NPI before (https://www.digikey.com/short/59d9mbvm) with chips that can be configured to request higher voltages than 5V from a USB port. This is a boon for getting rid of DC jacks with various voltage and current ratings. It also helps prevent accidents where folks plug in a 12V power supply into a 5V port just because the plug is the same size. With classic USB power delivery, the client device communicates over the CC pins to the upstream computer or power plug to request any of the standard voltages: 5V, 9V, 12V (optional), 15V, or 20V and from 1A up to 5A. With software negotiation, the sink can figure out what power supply voltages are available then accept or reject to get the best power supply efficiency and performance. As we see adoption across many industries to use standard USB C, the power needs have also been expanded! As of USB PD v3.1 there is now Extended Power Range (https://www.usb.org/usb-charger-pd) which adds "three new fixed voltages: 28V (above 100W), 36V (above 140W) and 48V (above 180W)" for charging bigger devices like laptops or electric scooters. Plus a "new adjustable voltage mode enabling a range from 15V to one of three maximum voltages (28V, 36V, or 48V) depending on the available power allowing the device being powered to request specific voltages to a 100 mV resolution." That first quote is pretty clear: we now just have bigger voltages available so we can keep under the 5A current limit that fixes how much current the contacts themselves can handle with standard USB C ports/cables. The second is interesting because it implies we can now select voltages that are outside the standard issue. Now AVS only allows adjustment over 15V, probably this was a compromise since there's big jumps between 28/36/48V. There's also a separate variable-voltage specification called Programmable Power Supply (https://hackaday.com/2025/03/24/pps-is-the-hottest-usb-c-feature-you-didnt-know-about/) a.k.a PPS a.ka. "Fast Charge" (https://www.usb.org/node/585) which allows finer resolution from 3.3V up to 21V - or whatever is the max voltage on the power adapter - in 20mV voltage steps and 50mA current steps. Popularized by tablet/phone maker Samsung but now is appearing on other devices, it recognizes that often times charging speed is limited by the thermal dissipation capabilities of the charging circuitry. That is to say, even with buck converters, if they use tiny SMT parts there's still an 'optimal' voltage and current level that will give the best efficiency and thus charge rate. Just like not all voltages are always supported by USB PD power supplies, PPS support is not required so check the side of the adapter or the manual, to see if it mentions PPS and the voltage/current range. For PPS support, you need to use the AP33772S (https://www.digikey.com/short/59d9mbvm) because there's fine tuning required. But if you just want 'every day' AVS/PD support, where you can select the voltage and current required, the AP33771C (https://www.digikey.com/short/022nd0fp) is much simpler. Instead of having a full I2C setup and configuration, two resistors are queried on power up and used to auto-negotiate. The onboard LED can provide some basic feedback on whether negotiation succeeded. According to the AP33772S datasheet, there is a variant of the chip, AP33772SDKZ-13-FA02 (https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/diodes-incorporated/AP33772SDKZ-13-FA02/27346457) that supports having VSEL resistor for initial voltage configuration - that part is available for special order only. If you want a simple, low-cost way to add USB Type C power delivery with extended voltage support and PPS capabilities, the the AP33772S (https://www.digikey.com/short/59d9mbvm) and AP33771C (https://www.digikey.com/short/022nd0fp) are easy ways to make customizable or stand-alone power supplies easy. Now there's no excuse to not convert your next design to run on USB and ditch that confusing DC power plug for good! Whichever one you choose, they're both in stock right now at DigiKey for immediate shipment. There's even eval boards (https://www.digikey.com/en/product-highlight/d/diodes/ap3377-usb-sink-controllers) to get your design kick-started fast. Order today and you'll have fresh chips in hand by tomorrow to make your power delivery dreams come true.

Anyway, I'm set to "inherit" my great-grandfather's hunting rifle. It's a turn-of-the-century model, not sure what year exactly yet, but it's a Remington slide action in 35 Remington. I know nothing about performance, etc. You think I'd be safe to shoot it? It's for sure in heirloom territory. I don't have any use plans for it. Maybe a wall hanger if I can find a place my wife can handle for it. Anyway, thanks for the info boys (I think, don't want to misgender these days) Ps, I don't actually care about Aaron's gender or offending anyone. Pps, I miss Lil. Ppps, no homo. Pppps, SSB. Ppppps, is this joke old and dumb yet? Pppppps, just like shawn and aaron, lol Tony D - "Looking to get a sidearm for hiking and camping. I spend a lot of time in the White Mountains in New Hampshire. For the most part our wildlife is pretty easy to deal with. We have black bears but they tend to be small and for the most part they're more afraid of people than we are of them. The next biggest predators we have are coyotes, and bobcats, which I'm not particularly worried about, and fisher cats which, while creepy as fuck if you hear them at night, aren't really a threat (seriously look that shit up, they sound like screaming women). We also have timber rattlesnakes but they're rare enough to be a non-issue. Here's where it gets interesting, there is one animal in the woods of northern New England that scares me and it's the moose. When I say this people tend to say, “what's the big deal? It's just big deer, right?” Fuck no. I don't care how big you think a moose is, it's bigger than that. Picture a clydesdale with six foot antlers and cloven hooves and you'll have a rough approximation. They fear nothing and they move through the woods surprisingly quietly so it's pretty easy to startle one if you don't know it's there. In springtime the young bulls get all sex-nuts and retard-strong and occasionally decide to take out their sexual frustration by murdering the fuck out of whatever they can find. And god help you if you come across a cow with a baby. Mama moose will stomp your ass into jelly and go right back to munching on lake weed if you so much as look at her offspring cross-eyed. So my question is this, is 10mm hardcast enough to take down leftover ice-age megafauna too dumb to go extinct? Or should I be looking at something bigger?" Aaron Not Moses - Rebuilding a backyard range and I have a few different places to put it, no gas lines nearby. I am mostly surrounded by woods but there are some properties that have buildings on them or may be building on them in the future. Two questions, how high should a berm be in relation to the targets? When placing the berm and shooting direction how far should the closest building be away? 1 mile, 2 miles, or more We are shooting anything from 22-6.5 Creedmoor, but who knows when we will buy a cannon. Tyson S - Recently started chemo and due to having a port on my right side they told not shoot for fear of damaging it. My time line is finishing chemo ( should be cured very treatable prognosis) in a couple months but the ports stays in for a year or so. In this episode, we dive headfirst into one of Europe's most brutal and under-discussed chapters: the collapse of Yugoslavia. Live from Croatia, where the scars of that war still linger, and where, 30 years on, the economic, political, and human fallout continues to echo across the continent. We explore how hyperinflation, sparked by debt-fuelled mismanagement and ethnic tension, helped tear the country apart. At one point, Yugoslavia's army was the largest in Europe. Today, its people make up the single largest intra-EU migrant group. In Ireland alone, over 40,000 Croats were issued PPS numbers in the last five years. We walk you through the tangled roots of nationalism, the rotating presidency that doomed a federation, and how the ghost of Tito, who told Stalin to feck off in 1946, still haunts the region. We also talk Jamie Dimon, who popped up in Dublin last week declaring “Europe has lost,” and we break down what that means in GDP terms: 25 years ago, US and EU GDP per capita were neck-and-neck—now the US is 25% ahead. We trace that back to 1995 and ask: What if Yugoslavia was the first warning shot? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Guys Questions Hey guys, I really love your show. My question is about food safe finishes. I do a lot of CNC carving and one of my favorite is deviled egg trays. The first couple I made for my wife I just finished with some butcher block oil, the composition of an egg Has something  in it I think and it quickly turned the reliefs in the wood surface black. I talked to my sister-in-law who's a chemical engineer and she told me that polyurethane once it's cured would be fine for this. I have done a few with this and it seems to be holding up OK but I am curious what your guys thoughts are  on the long-term effect of this. Most of my egg trays are made out of a butcher block style material that has lots of maple cherry ash a little bit of oak and various leftovers. Unfortunately, I can't use walnut in my wood shop due to my wife's tree nut allergy again guys. I really appreciate your podcast and look forward to listening to it. Albert Thanks for the great podcast, I learn something from every episode.  I recently made a few band saw boxes for Christmas gifts.  They are a good way to use up some offcut lumber and the family seems to appreciate something handmade.   The 3 drawer box with a curved top and side (pictures attached) caused me a bit of trouble.   Joni had preciously asked for a sideboard style cabinet to place between out living and dinning room areas.  After 2-3 month we still hadn't found a design she liked....until she saw the curved band saw box.  I quote "I love that design and want one like that only much bigger"   My question is what suggestions do you have for making the curved top and sides,  I am thinking the sides could be made using walnut plywood by cutting kerfs and bending the plywood over a frame but I am open to other ideas.   The top has me stumped, I have made segmented arches for a table support  but they were only 4" wide and I cut the arch on a band saw.  That would not work for a wide dresser top. Approximate dimensions would be 30" -35" wide and 45- 55" tall and 20-22" deep Thanks in advance for you help DH I realize this isn't a fine precision woodworking question, but I figure you guys have probably dealt with manhandling sheets of plywood. We have about 140 sheets of plywood that we need to put down on a floor. The median age of the guys doing this is somewhere between 65 and 70. Any suggestions for how to safely handle this many sheets of plywood to minimize strains and injuries ? Thanks,  Mark Huys Questions Good Morning, I appreciate the podcast as I continue to learn its been a great resource, thank you! Quick background. I grew up watching PBS's Norm Abram and This Old House but never had much opportunity to learn wood working. As an adult I started learning both construction building and cabinet/furniture making helping others, reading and youtube etc. Starting in basement workshops with mostly benchtop tools. ~15 years into the journey I am starting to get a decent foundation. Recently I built a house with a planned garage workshop and have started outfitting it. Bones are there, lots of organization needed but I have now have 3hp grizzly table saw, bosch miter saw with large counter style station, 8" Grizzly jointer, 24" Grizzly Drum Sander, Grizzly Bandsaw and dust collector Planer still needs upgrading, have a Ridgid 13" but watching for a used 20" helical head. I have been busy chasing used deals! Also recently setup a 10'x10' popup tent with furnace filter setup tied into 12" exhaust fan as a spray booth, works great! Spraying with a Fuji mini mite 5 stage and PPS cup system.  Space is 32'x32' when cars are out with 12' ceiling, in floor heat. Rural northern New York. Not a Rockler or similar store within a days drive but we have ample local sawmills to find solid wood if your willing to mill it and access to cabinet grade plywood delivered from suppliers. With this shop setup I am now building cabinets, furniture, trim, doors etc for our house. Starting in some areas I don't mind making some mistakes. Two areas that I am struggling to figure out: Finishes-your recent episode had some decent comments but I would love a thorough discussion on when you would choose a certain finish over another. In particular thinking of kitchen cabinets, vanities, built in's, kitchen table. High traffic areas. I have played around with conversion varnish from Woodwright. Seems like very durable stuff and I don't mind cleaning up with solvent but when is that necessary vs going with an easier to work with finish such as Sherwin Williams Emerald? Or middle ground lacquer??I do have Bob Flexners book but would love to hear your experiences/ opinions? If I do use conversion varnish how do you handle any touch ups? I have quite a lot of experience with airless on sheetrock so its not a huge jump but any suggestions on HVLP setups, when to use which tips etc. would be helpful. *Doors- I appreciated the conversation on doors recently. I have several very custom interior and exterior doors I want to tackle. I agree with your comments on buying pre hung for standard doors but between custom nature of what we want and because I just want to do it I am going to try to build my own. I want to buy the festool domino machines in time anyhow and I think that would be a good way to build the doors. I would enjoy hearing a conversation on specifics on how you would choose to build interior vs exterior doors, rail and style material vs. panel material vs jamb material. Is there a way to insulate the exterior door? Finishes? If you had the shop described above and both domino size machines what would you do? Thank you! Matt Wendig This one is a wood selection question. I am looking for a wood that has both good elasticity and shock resistance. I am building a Japanese makiwara board, which is a training tool that provides progressive resistance to striking force by the martial artist. The training board is about 55" tall, 5" wide and is tapered - so thick at the base and gradually tapers to the top. This allows for "flex" when the board is struck. In Japan - Japanese beech is typically used, but not readily available near me. I am thinking along the lines of Ash or Elm for my build. I appreciate your thoughts. Crafted Carpentry Tampa Hello gentlemen and thank you for the wonderful podcast. I live in the niagara region in Ontario Canada and for the last while I've been looking at upgrading my current table saw (Ridgid R4520) to something that runs on 220v for more power  or possibly replacing it all together with a bandsaw.  I have an oversized single car garage that houses my furnace, hot water tank, ATV, motorcycle, mechanical shop and woodshop so space is at a premium and that is the motivation to possibly do away with a table saw all together. I have a router table, mitre saw and track saw so I feel all the functions I may lose not having a table saw will still be covered by these tools plus I have a Ridgid job site table saw (R4518ns) I use for the odd job I do off site. I currently have an older 110v 14" king bandsaw that I find severely underpowered and that I want to replace anyways, so with the sale of my current bandsaw and table saw plus my current budget and with some convincing of my wife I'm thinking I'll have roughly $3000-3300CAD to buy either one bandsaw or have to use those fund to buy both a bandsaw and table saw. I am 6'4" and if my memory serves me correctly guy has said Laguna bandsaw tables are closer to the ground and I've quickly looked at some king bandsaw and craftex bandsaws but I'm not sold on them either. So my question question to you guys is, what would you do? Use all the funds on a bandsaw and if so which one and what type of blades should I purchase with it? Or split up the funds to purchase 2 machines and again which ones? And do you go new or used in both of those situations? Thank you ahead of time for taking the time to read and respond to my inquiry. James
